The baby shower wasn't too bad, I helped set up for it and then my friends daughter couldn't handle being there anymore so we left before the festivities really started. It was a post baby, baby shower so I did get tiny baby snuggles. 😊 of course that didn't help me in the long run lol.

I'm trying my best to wait this TWW out and not test until I'm actually late. It's proving to be difficult though. I really want to know! But I'm only about 10dpo anyway so yeah...

Turtle0630, the TWW isn't so bad, it's more that my days are just. Dragging. FOREVER. I spend most of my days longing for bed and snuggles with my hubby, but I get home so late that he's asleep, and I just collapse. It's awful. Also, it doesn't help that there are three weeks left until Spring Break, which is making the days even longer and slower--that's what I really want, a break from the insanity.

I'm on CD22, eight or nine-ish days past ovulation (probably, anyway) and having really no symptoms that couldn't be explained by my diet or lack of sleep, so... there's that. =/ This just might not be the month since I'm so stressed out.

Looks like we'll both be testing around the same time-ish, Charlie! FX for us both, but especially you!

Charlie, glad the shower wasn't too bad! Sorry you had to drive all that way though to not even be able to stay very long! Sometimes the road trip itself with a friend though is the best part. Sorry you're feeling cramping. Like Danna said though, lots of women get that before their BFP too! I have my FX still!

Sierra, I hope you get your snuggle time with DH in soon! Sorry you've been so busy, and so stressed. I hope it eases up soon! When do you plan to test?

Sorry i've been quiet, i'm still so sickly going to load up on painkillers and take my appt with the specialist tomorrow though, wish me luck !! I have NO idea what she will suggest as our next step, but we need one !

Charlie I hope that's not the case, AF aches aren't always a bad thing FX! I would never have survived the shower, you're brave

Danna sounds like you'll soon be at CD1 again (i hope!) more relaxing then once af is out of the way it's almost time for BD time a fresh start works wonders !

Turtle when are you testing ? Or are you holding out to see if AF is late ? I know it's hard to be hopeful sometimes but we all have enough hope to make up for any doubts you have

I'm sat under my blanket with my new laptop (hubby is amazing, what a birthday gift!) post catnap shower, watching my cat go absolutely batshit bonkers over the leftover wrapping paper from me opening some late birthday pressies got a "cheesy 90s" themed package from my old friend, it rocks chuppa chups tshirt, ghostbusters underwear, 911 and 5ive CDs, hello kitty make up, super mario socks, it's like a geeky dream come true

Thanks ladies! I'm trying to stay positive! I don't normal have cramps until the day before our day of AF and she isn't due until this weekend so I'm praying that it's from an ity bity baby. ❤

I can't believe the audacity of these people !!!!

She told me we'd drop the progesterone *sigh* and stop all TTC attempts, come back in 6months. I was astounded. 6 Months ? Nothing proper has happened in a year and a half, why would she force me to do this ?? So i asked her what else we could do, she's put in a request to ANOTHER specialist which looks like it may be a step before IVF, will know more when we're there, going in for ANOTHER blood and urine test tomorrow and hubby is doing his next week, he's really pissed off with the whole system, they're just trying to get us to give up it's ridiculous !!! I really don't think we'll be able to do IVF if they want fresh swimmers because hubby cannot just take time off work when it's time to go :/

Meh. I'm annoyed she was about to send us away for another half year to go crazy, but glad we're getting another checkup, relieved to give up actual TTC till then and just wait to see what happens it's not looking good either way, just going to lay low till the appt sick and grumpy Patience is not patient !

You've been plenty Patient already... 6 months that's crazy and I mostly don't understand the reason behind it? When will you go see the other specialist?
For IVF it may be different everywhere but my clinic opens very early in the morning so it would be easy to drop the swimmers before work.

Patience, that's ridiculous!!! I don't even understand that at all!!! So she wants you guys to even take a break from trying at all at home?! Why?? Grrr... I agree with Danna, you've been plenty patient already! I'm so glad you talked her into sending you elsewhere. I really hope you'll get somebody who will finally LISTEN to you and DO something to try to fix it!!! I'm so sorry that you're still going through this. I wish I could just give you a big hug! A virtual one will have to do though, so here you go: Oh and by the way, thank you so much for your sweet words about having enough hope for me to make up for my lack of it. That was so sweet, and really made me happy!

Charlie, that's great news that your cramps are at a different time than normal, I really, REALLY hope this means it's it for you! I'm so hopeful for you, I can't wait for you to test!!!

Danna and Patience, I'm not planning on testing, I'm just going to wait it out. I've pretty much given up on ever testing at this point! Oh well, it'll save me money on tests for sure! Af is due tomorrow assuming I O'd on the day FF thinks I did. It was going off my +opk so it's most likely right. I didn't have my normal strong O pains this month though so it really could have been anywhere from Thursday-Saturday that I O'd (FF says Friday), so she really could be due as late as Saturday. I'll test on Sunday if she's not here by then. I fully expect her to be though!

Oh and Patience, I love the 90's themed present you got! How cool! DH and I are really into the 80's a lot, we are in love with 80's music! We love Super Mario Bros though (and man, my 4 year old nephew is OBSESSED with it...he has assigned all of us names from the game and insists that we all use them for each other...I'm Daisy ...he of course is Mario!) and Ghostbusters is awesome!!! We were given the Ghostbusters Lego set for Christmas from my sister's family and it's so freaking cool. They gave us the movie to go along with it! Your present sounds so great!

Because it's free they want to steer people off so they don't have to pay :/ i'm surprised she even gave me the option of being sent elsewhere if she had the balls to tell me to come back again in 6months, lucky i'm still sick enough i didn't have the energy to get mad at her, i just got more whiny and pathetic she said something about removing the eggs, i don't think any procedure except IVF does that. I got a booklet to go through which I shall scowl at later.

Problem about any procedures needing fresh swimmers is hubby starts work at 7am, and works on a totally wonky schedule (one week mon+tues+fri+sat+sun, next week only weds+thurs) so basically makes it impossible to get fresh supplies if it happens to fall on a day he's at work, he can't take time off working in security they need to replace him for that time and it won't happen. So this could be very difficult, we'll just have to see our options when the appt comes through :/ hubby is so annoyed at the whole thing, he really wants a baby and is sick of this back and forth crap they're putting us through. He's so mad we have to do another blood test! At least something is happening i don't see how IVF will help, if we get pregnant ALL the time but somehow my body rejects it every single time ! Oh well hopefully they'll know more

I hear you on the no testing thing, i hope she stays away oh hubby and I are megageeks we have N64, SNES, Xbone, 2 gaming PCs, he just bought me a gaming lappy for my birthday we play all sorts ! Gotta love the classics though, Mario and Zelda will forever hold special places in our hearts !

Patience, IVF might help because once the eggs are fertilised, they check to make sure they are genetically okay. So maybe they'd figure out this way why they haven't been surviving so far on your own.

AFM, just took my last Provera, so now waiting for AF, asap please. Then I stat femara again but really I feel this cycle is doomed, I don't see why I'd respond this time and not the first time.

So Patience, when she said to not TTC, did she mean for you guys to stop trying at home for the next 6 months too? Or stop trying to get medical help for the next 6 months? Regardless of what route you take, I hope you can work it out easily with DH's work schedule!

Danna, thanks! I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling optimistic about the Femera. I really hope you're wrong though and that you get a nice, big, fat egg out of it! Come on, AF! How soon after you stop it is she supposed to arrive? That's awesome that you make video games, btw!
