Removing the eggs means IVF I'd assume right? I wouldn't completly brush off IUI thoug, as I've heard the drugs they give you, especially the injectables and trigger shot, could help win egg quality, which maybe (just maybe) could be part of your problem Patience?

CD11, tomorrow is my appointment and I'm petrified I'll get bad news. I'd rather be in denial for a bit longer haha. Also I'm seeing a new doctor as mine is not there on Thursday, it kind of sucks I'm still shy and would rather limit the number of man that get too see my cervix xD
Plus I heard that doctor was young and good looking..... Haha

So far I felt twinges and a bit of sharp pain CD 6-7 and a tiny bit CD 10. It's either nothing, cysts or follies maturing.

If they chose IUI I'll go with it, I've given up hope of being pregnant before my 30th birthday, that was my thing I always wanted to be a mummy before 30, we started when I was 27.5 :/ now I'll just be happy if I'm preggers by next year!

I hope those twinges you've had are those eggies working, haha yeah it's hard to get used to people getting a view up there! I can't imagine it's nice when you think about the amount of people's hoohahs they must view per day, I think I'd be put off sexy time with my wife if I had that job :/

Hugh just had bad results come in. I have very high AMH, even for PCOS. This cycle is a bust there's no way I'll respond to low doses. I'll probably go straight to injectables.

Thanks girls, my levels are 18.94 ng/ml.
My appointment with the doctor is tomorrow so we'll discuss what is next. From research injectables should work, although I'll be at high risk of overstimulation.

Oral meds probably won't work by themselves.

So i thought my period had regulated itself after depo but i stand corrected as i am now in the middle of cd65 and af seems no where in sight. My doctor told me that me to wait it out until july but that seems super uncertain another 4 mths without a period may drive me nuts. She suggested taking bcp for around 6 mths to regulate my period but since one of my main goals right nows is to let my body's hormones regulate themselves that seems counter productive. Any body got an opinion and or advice for a newbie whose loss as to what to do?

Danna, you take no prisoners at your appt, get what you want! Although I guess over simulation means multiple eggs = bigger chance of multiples? That's worth taking to your OH about, I made sure to mention ivf can put in 2 eggs max for better chance, but it can mean twins. He said he'd rather stick to one and I respect that, I think twins sounds dreamy but the reality is double the exhaustion, work and money! If it happens naturally then fine, but if I chose to risk multiples and we got them, that's be unfair on hubby and we'd probably fight a lot and I'd get the blame for all problems we'd face! So not worth it for me, maybe if we get to our last ivf chance he might change his mind

Rockstar I think it's fairly common to be told to wait 6 months of not having a period till you get help, I think it's awful in regards to depo I'm afraid I know nothing about it, from personal experience ttc after bcp I'm forever scarred by the fact it probably was bcp that's given me 19 months of misery, I wouldn't go back on bcp if someone paid me! BUT I have heard it can be good for people with very irregular periods, but what would you prefer, 4 months hoping af comes and maybe trying to get ov/af through natural methods, or 6 months on bcp that may help? I can't imagine what going months without af must do to ones hormones!

Danna, I was thinking the same thing about over stimulation and what that means! I'm assuming the same as Patience, that it means higher chance of more eggs = higher chance of multiples? How do you feel about that? How does DH feel about that? I know my DH would freak out!!! Although the same can happen with IUI I think...I think the meds for that also give you a higher chance of multiples. Of course it can happen naturally too so who knows! I'm sorry your AMH levels were so high, I really do hope they can "fix" it, one way or another!

Rockstar, I think it's terrible too that they make women wait 6 months for AF to appear before doing anything sometimes. Danna, that's the boat you were just in too, right? I'm so sorry that you're faced with this right now, Rockstar!

Hey ladies! It doesn't mean that exactly. Any fertility drug has a higher chance of multiples, mostly twins. DH would be okay with that but I would freak out haha.
What I mean by ovarian hyperstimulation is actually a dangerous condition that can bring you to the hospital. Yout ovaries go crazy basically, the acronym is ohss if you're curious about it :'S

Rock star I don't know much about depo, but my Dr told me if I didn't get a period after so many cycle days to give her a call. Granted my Dr has not been going by the standard in waiting time. But most drs do, which is crazy.

As for multiples, DH said "that's fine, then we would be done, whambam thank you ma'am..." I had to roll my eyes at him when he said that. Lol. This happened when I started Clomid which feels like forever ago.

Anyway...AFM: Im on CD 13 BD starts this weekend and continues until the 1st hubby has surgery on the 2nd so he will be out of commission for the remainder of my fertile window. Hopefully I O before and we catch the little bugger of an egg. 😊 I think he can handle 5 days of sex right?!? Lol.

That's the thing i think that's bothering me the most April 1 st will make six months since my last shot was due so the additional four months until july would make 10mths off depo with only two periods which freaks me out. I keep wondering the same thing like what does not having my period for 10 months without being on bc do to my hormones besides make me extremely crabby. I feel sorry for my poor bf cause he's dealing with a mad woman right now it seems My next question and the one i think that worries me the most is that i have read you can ovulate without having a period, and that your period will only come truly after you have ovulated but not concieved. If that's so, i think what scares me most is becoming pregnant and not knowing or testing because i was told its not a problem until july. I have had one prior mc and that was due to not knowing i was pregnant until mc. So am i suppose to test weekly until i finally get an af? That can get a bit pricy. I just dont wanna go through a mc again especially one like that which could have been avoided had i known in the beginning.

Sounds like a tough one Charlie, I admire your determination! I hope you ov earlier this month, and it's most important to catch the last day possible than to do every day till then good luck!

I'm finding not knowing anything rather tough this month, I mean it's nice and relaxing but I think my ov was late this month, she wants me to test only when I'm a week late but when 1 in 3 cycles roughly has ov a week later, it's hard to know when to test! If I could make a guess I'm maybe 4 dpo since I have no symptoms still, I think my general aching is just from gym I had monster sore nips round when I thought ov was which vanished so that strengthens my belief it's early still!

Rockstar I'd try and push your Dr a bit, pull all your concerns out, cry if you have to! You shouldn't be forced to go without a period for so long say us! If they refuse then you've tried what you can at least, then could look at other options perhaps? Sounds like with a mc you have even more reason to get help asap!

Yeah i've been thinking if it doesn't come the end of april i'll schedule another appt with a different gyn, I'm shopping around anyway because 6 months without seeing any type of period is going to drive me nuts and broke (doing hpts) I just dont wanna go through things ive previously experienced.

Rockstar, I know how terrible it is to have to wait for AF, I waited 6 months too! I hope you can get an appointment sooner but if you can't, don't worry too much about going without AF for a while. It's quite usual and problems shouldn't appear until at least a year without it. My doctor told me Depo is "worse" than BCP in terms of time to regulate after stopping. She doesn't see people because of missing AF after Depo for a whole year! Horrible I know

Now AFM, yesterday I got my lab results by email before seeing my doctor today. It's by research that I saw that such bad results often meant no response to oral meds.

And I didn't respond well, 1 follie is not an amazing response for 10 days of Femara, but I'll take it!

IUI was never discussed before, but it seems to go hand in hand with oral meds at my clinic. They have a why not attirude about it? Like it can only help... and it's free so I'm glad to do it. I'll have romantic sex another time xD

I'm very exited right now, and stressed about the trigger shot! Haha
