Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

Got my fingers crossed Twinkie, try and get a pic of it for us tomorrow, Hoping you get a nice clear line..

My Clearblue study pack has just arrived, Lots of smiley opks to satisfy my poas urges! :haha:

Can't wait to see what happens Twinkie :) keep us posted we've got everything crossed!

Jess that's so awesome I wish I was in the uk :( free OPK's and a gift voucher if you get preggers, it's crazy!

Charlie I really hope you don't have to wait that long for some answers :( how do you feel? Any typical 2ww symptoms, have they come & gone or never showed?

Mermaid, any update?

Lola that's crazy, I hope you feel better soon :( maybe time to alert the dr that you're suffering like this, even if they won't help you now they have the info for when you come back to them!

As for me, finally got our first ever ov bd :happydance: not sure how useful it was considering the gyno shoved loads of sperm killing lube up me so I was trying to clear out the lumps left over and pulled a bit of ewcm out so I stopped and trust my body to save this swimmers :haha: what a change of events, feeling great for this 2ww! Just hope the b6 starts working :)

Patience - I have a lot of cm and pinching but no AF symptoms and nothing else going on, other than my allergies lol, so not sure what to think. The DH and my sister think I should get a blood test done when we get home. Apparently my sister didnt get any symptoms or a BFP until she was already 2 months along in both of her pregnancies. So we are not sure if I will be the same way or not.

Hello! I thought I would join in on the TTC forum fun!
I currently stopped taking bcp's and am now in the NTNP phase.
Based on the withdrawal period (if that counts...) I should be on
cd9. Not feeling anything different, except I thought I may have
felt ovulation pains a few days ago (or was it in my head?). Although that
would probably be pretty early... I think I've already become pretty obsessive! haha. :dohh:

Talk about lucky, I got my :bfp: last night! So didnt even manage a full cycle off bcp. Hope it's a sticky one

Hope everyone's ok

:dust:

Wooo Jess ! :D Way to kick those one tube (and hubby being away) odds in the face :haha: congrats and fingers crossed for a sticky :)

Dent: welcome ! :) it can be hard to figure out how your cycles look post bcp, i've never managed to NTNP so don't know how to help you stay sane :D

Charlie, nothing yet still ? :(

Twinkie I saw your chart update, so sorry AF turned up :( at least now you can go get help from your Dr, hope you get an appointment soon :hugs:

I know thank you. Only took test to prove to him I wasn't preg lol well that backfired

:haha: jessica! That is great, huge congratulations to you dear, what dpo were you then when you found out?

patience-thank you, I see O has been confirmed :happydance: hope you got this cycle, you deserve it dear!

dent-welcome and I'm glad you found us! NTNP hasn't yet worked for me, because once DH agreed and we green-lighted the whole baby thing, I feel like it's been nothing else since. Did you finish your entire pill pack before you quit? and are you counting days from withdraw bleed from the first day of full flow? If so, cd9 seems a little early for O, but some ladies do o that early once in a while. Best of luck to you and I hope you get your bfp as quick as jessica did!

Congrats Jessica!!!!!
:happydance::happydance::happydance:

That's amazing news, I'm praying its a little sticky one!
Gives me a bit of hope knowing you O'd so quickly!
How are you feeling now??

I'm feeling way better than I was last week. No more nausea, still slight cramps but heaps of energy and I seem to have lost a bit of weight too, side effect from coming off the pill?

I'm still waiting for my opks to arrive. I was gonna wait til after AF but now I just want to KNOW!!! :dohh:

Wow, that's great Jessica! Congrats! Maybe I'll have some luck too! :happydance:

Twinkie,
Thanks for the hello! Well, I actually quit mid-pack.. haha. Yeah, my hubby gave me the green light too and I couldn't even wait to stop taking the last week! lol. Yeah, I'm counting from the first day of the withdrawal bleed I had after stopping the pill. I was thinking that it was probably early too, and I have no idea what my cycles are like. I've been on some form of birth control for like 6 years now. So yeah starting NTNP, or at least I think it's that if I'm not temping or using OPK's, etc. It's really nice to talk to some lovely ladies about this!
:dust:

That's what mine was as well! I was 5 days in and quit. You will likely still get a regular period before you have your first full cycle, just a heads up!

Twinkie I was 11dpo, I'm 12dpo now, af wasn't due until Tuesday coming

Lola- in all honesty it comes and goes, this morning I felt nauseous and thought I was going to be sick several times, now I just feel tired and have a bit of heartburn.

Thank you everyone, got to ring EPU in morning and go in for bloods and ultrasound to check bubs in right place

:flower:

Ok, so I've been curious about signs and everyone posting about CM and such.. Sorry if this is a TMI question, but what does it mean when the CM is white and thick, like gooey? Where in the cycle could you be?

Hi DentDoc. Welcome. I noticed on the pill cm was white and thick the whole time. But in a natural cycle it didn't get like that until after ovulation and now pregnancy.

Creamy white or lotion-like cm is fairly infertile and often after ovulation. You will get watery, and ideally eggwhite cervical mucous during your fertile period through ovulation. Once you ovulate, cm will change somewhat quickly (within just a few days) to more creamy. Sticky cm is the least fertile.

hi jessica, congrats!

will they see you at the epu because of the previous ectopic? when I was very early pregnant and very nervous they wouldnt see me because they saif a) it would be too early to see anything and b) they dont see anyone unless you have pain and or bleeding. I ended up paying for a private scan. Im guessing it may be different for you though if you have a history of ectopic?

Hi yes my first point of contact even before my gp is the Epu until a heartbeat is seen in the right place. I went in a few months back as had bleeding even tho negative tests and they did bloods an scanned me to be sure nothing wrong x

Completely un ttc related but I've had the worst day! :(

I squashed my foot between a standing forklift and a pallet behind me :( spent all morning at the ER, shockingly nothing is broken/fractured it's just all the soft bits in my foot that got crushed :/ it's agony to walk on but I got to buy crutches which are a royal pain :haha:

All my boss worried about was how to get the orders done and if I can come in tomorrow :/ grr
