Charlie I don't know much about chlomid only heard it's great for bringing on ovulation but can make you dry down there and thin your lining, 2 things I'd avoid like the plague I think it would be a perfect thing for you to try though to make that pesky egg show up!

Cdex one thing I used to do when unsure when I was ovulating was use the ic OPK's then when I thought it might be positive I'd use a digital opk so it's set in stone

Hey Jessica! No, I haven't gotten a doppler. I keep telling myself I'll buy a used on if I find it, then I say no don't do it (as I'm scared it will cause more panic than reassurance for a worry wart like me!) How are you feeling?

Patience-I was wondering if you were alternating months on those too. I think my two were also opposite months, but then this bfp would have fallen into that loop too, so not sure (I still think my transvaginal U/S opened my cervix a bit and helped get more spermies in there and that's what finally did it for us, coupled with taking baby aspirin, that was the only cycle I took it and I quit as soon as I got my bfp!) I so hope you can get some answers soon!

Charlie-I don't know a lot on clomid either, but I too have heard about some dryness (as well as not feeling well while taking it) Also, have seen lots of ladies have good luck on clomid in their first few cycles.
How is everyone else?

I am officially on round 2 this cycle of the "let's try to ovulate" game.
I geared up early on and thought vitex was working miracles but no luck. Now it is happening again (ewcm, high cervix, and positive OPKs) Fx it actually works this time!

I had got an angel sounds doppler, found hb with my little boy at just over 9 weeks, didnt try this time until 11 weeks as we were on holiday but I've found it every day since. Defo worth it!

I'm feeling ok thanks, bit tired but not as bad now as I'm only waking up once in the night for a wee rather than hourly! Lol.
Got my scan tomorrow and then private gender scan in 3 weeks. When's your next scan twinkie

Jess-next appointment is Sept 5th, not sure if they will do a scan or not, probably will depend on the spotting. I cant believe you are only three weeks from finding out gender!!! how exciting! Let us know how tomorrow's scan goes!

The strangest part is, I have no idea how it ended up being nicknamed dave as our names are charlie or amber for baby ha

haha, that is so weird. DH is still stuck on poppyseed for us, even though we are well past that size. I notice I call baby he a lot so I need to know asap so that I'm not calling our little girl he all the time! Not sure why I'm stuck on he, but I am. Trying to break myself of it and just say baby all the time, but that's no fun.

Haha I know what you mean. Everyone assume I'm having a boy as I just call baby dave all the time now. I've got a feeling it's a boy though as I'm pretty much the same as I was with my little boys pregnancy. Only thing I've not got yet is the heartburn but other than that everything has been identical even down to bleeds and spotting.

Mint, that's fantastic that you're getting your second chance to O this month, and that it's matching up with your other symptoms again! I was hoping that would be the case, that or a VERY slow rise in your temps. I really hope it works for you this time!!! Keep us posted!

Jess and Twinkie, that's hilarious about the names! Especially the "Dave" one. Too funny!!! I don't want to find out when it actually happens for us (if I can actually be strong and hold out), so I guess I'll be stuck with the weird, funny names for the whole time! That can be fun though. Definitely turned out not to be the slow rise as temp dropped again today - was so bummed out until I got to the bathroom and many good things were happening lol!

I know I should put my chart in my sig but I have to mess around with it as I want to keep my other info in there but need to keep within the size limit.

Ooh i think your chart is looking good for ov gear-up Mint I used to ov cd23 until I started having the chemicals that sorta rebooted my body a bit I think - either that or they just screwed with everything

Dave is great haha, can't wait to see the bump ! You were already bumpy straight away but now it'll be proper baby bumpness

Funny your OH is stuck on poppyseed Twinkie i'd have thought he'd change with each week it updates ! I've told my hubby so many times about "bean" that i'm pretty sure that'll stick for a while when the time comes

I'm compiling a list of things to rave to the specialist about, the 3 concieving on my left side thing fascinates me and i don't know what to read into it considering i've had two VUS and been told everything "looks great" so why the right side is defunkt i don't know o.o; this month i'm actually going to avoid my usual stuff, no lining building pom juice no fertilitea, just multivits and my vit b6 cuz I keep torturing myself thinking that had an impact on this last cycle being chemical instead of sticky since I didn't take it that month and started bleeding 8/9dpo :/ can't wait for 25th!

Charlie, I'd only take Clomid after all the proper testing and with monitoring ultrasounds. I know it can be super helpful in the right cases but can also permanently thin your lining, etc if you're not careful.

That's such great news! It's funny how excited you can be for someone else's cycle changes! Ha! I had really been hoping that was what was going to happen for you, so I was so excited to come here and read that!

I don't really know how to read charts yet but I'd say that's looking great from what I do know! FX that you catch that eggie this time!!!

Not a whole lot going on with me right now. I'm still fairly certain that I O'd on either Sunday or Monday, so I'm just sitting here at 2-3 dpo just playing the waiting game. I feel good about our timing this month, but on the same note I would be really shocked it if happened this quickly for us. If you had asked me prior to coming to these boards I probably would have been more optimistic about it happening in the first few months but after reading the horror stories here after coming off the pill, I wouldn't be surprised if it took awhile. I know it doesn't for some and maybe I'll be one of those lucky ones. But after 15 years on the pill (minus 1-2 years in the middle), I wouldn't be surprised if it took it's sweet time.

AHHHH!!! That's a baby!! My scan still looks like a big headed blob with tiny arm buds, what a change in only a few weeks (and I'm so glad you want to know wtbam's skull theory guess, cause I totally want to know too!!) Glad all is looking good and right on for measurements And p.s. Your little guy is so cute!! Is he excited, or does he not quite understand a baby coming yet?
