I do chart cm, Mint, although it's been confusing so far! I broke down and bought a thermometer today after work, I guess I'll give it a shot after all. Don't really want to, but I knew it's the most accurate way to tell anything.

I definitely prefer charting over cm checking I've always found charting a useful tool but now I know my body enough that I stick to OPK's and can trust them to look know I ov, though I usually temp post ov to watch my progesterone levels.

How's everyone doing? Although I don't have any hope for this month I'll be bd'ing as normal just in case! Time to start soon, makes the wait for ov better

Does anyone mind if I join in? I am on my first cycle after stopping ovranette (microgynon 30). The first 2 weeks off were awful, I felt sick and dizzy most of the time, I was so hungry! I have PCOS & not expecting AF, never mind BFP! Last time I stopped, I didn't have AF for 8mths I've been using OPKs & got my first + on CD17 BD on CD18 but both me & OH weren't well after that so we weren't able to BD again! Currently in TWW, started charting my temps on CD18 to see what I thought & my temps have been steadily going up since my +OPK! I think I did actually O!

Currently symptom spotting! Had a random sharp pain yesterday that lasted a few seconds & happened twice. Nothing since then. Hoping it was implantation pain!

Today I am on CD27 & around 9DPO xx

Welcome Charmed and good luck, that's awesome that you may have actually O'd so quickly coming of bcp with pcos, it hasn't been that easy for all, but we are all here for you and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. There are a lot of different backgrounds and experiences here. (I think someone else was also on microgynon, maybe???)

Aw, thank you! I hope it's that quick for me too I'm not holding my breath though. Atm, I'm just thankful that I might have O'd!

I've taken one test already, yesterday & got BFN.. But I think it was perhaps a little too early Just couldn't help myself!

My GP & fertility Dr told me to lose weight when I was referred to them a few years ago. I've lost some & continuing to lose until I get my BFP. I'm really hopeful that the weight loss so far is what might have triggered my O!

Hi ladies, welcome Charmed! I hope your journey is quick and easy

I have to read back a little to catch up but afm--cd5 today, feels nice to say that Had about a 4 day AF and looking like it's stopped completely this morning. Wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Although I had a positive opk last cycle, I don't believe I ovulated and if I did it was nowhere near the positive opk. I never thought af would make me so happy though, I'm feeling optimistic today I have started temping yesterday (a couple days late but early enough I think). And I'm going to chart cm this cycle as well. I just really want to be able to understand what is happening with my body and when, and I'm excited for this cycle. Praying for NO MORE 68 day cycles.

Afm- I have 4 days left of provera (after today's pill) then once af shows up I can schedule my blood draw appointment and start taking clomid. I'm excited and full of hope and trying not to be all at the same time lol.

Love all the hopeful, positive posts! When you have had a messed up cycle it really can feel great to just start fresh again.

Charlie - thanks for asking. I am just the same -feel like everyone must be sick of my updates by now -always the same - dragging on probably not O'ing but continuously getting positive OPks and/or high readings on digis. But now my CM has dried up and cervix gone firm and closed so maybe AF is soon?
Very very slight possibility I am 3dpo with a slow rise. Last time we BDd was 3 days before that...
DH was sick and then had a family emergency he had to suddenly leave town for and I was losing hope of O'ing this cycle anyway.
I am CD26.

Hi charmed! Welcome.over, yep it was me first cycle off microgynon I got preg. I also resumed my usual cycle within about 2 months the first time.I came off it a few years back. So fingers crossed for you huni x

Thanks hun! Took a hpt this morning & bfn I'm only 10dpo, maybe even less (i think if I did O, then it was around the 12th Aug). It's really great to hear from someone else who stopped microgynon & got a bfp so quickly! xx

I have absolutely no hope for this cycle, my lining is bad on a good month and after a chemical it's even worse, I'm down to 1 day af so I'm just going to bd when I can and ignore the rest will be going to the specialist right before I ov so I doubt she'll be able to do anything to help this cycle anyway! I'm just antsy waiting for Monday

Charmed based on your temps I would guess ov day as what is now 2dpo but definitely looks like you oed i was on microgynon years ago so I doubt my bad luck has been down to that since I've swapped 2 pills since then

charmed-I think the chart looks good still charmed, still got time to get that positive, but I do think you've o'vd based on seemingly rising temps.

I'm good for those that have asked and yes, there is definitely a bump! I had to bust out some maternity pants yesterday just to be comfortable, I can't button any of my regular clothes, but I'm not really ready for maternity either. I've got pictures on my journal for anyone that wants to see, don't want to load down this page.

patience-I am so excited for your appointment, even if this cycle is going to be a bust, at least you are finally getting in with a specialist!!!
