Feeling awful today, really dizzy Just can't shake it! Ugh. My temps are all over the place & I really don't know what to think. I have already been diagnosed with PCOS, so I'm not sure how soon to see my GP if this continues.. I can't keep feeling like this though. The hunger I can cope with, but the dizziness and upset stomach is getting to be a bit too much. I was really unwell with it last night. Not sure how long it will take for my PCOS to show it's ugly head, but judging by my temps, it might be now.

Hi all! I'm new to TTC too, and just came off the BCP in early July. Had some pretty crazy temps before AF (July 28) but no bad reactions at all... probably because I was so happy to be off the Pill! No more chemicals makes me a happy girl haha.

Have many people had anovulatory cycles right when coming off the BCP? I'm currently on day 33 with no signs of ovulation yet (although maybe I'm just not used to reading my temps right. My chart is here: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/528fea/). I'm hoping to start OPK and some other remedies next cycle, depending on what people recommend. Maca? Vitex? Something else? I've never been diagnosed with PCOS, although I've suspected it for awhile. Anyway, I'm glad to be TTC and I wish all the rest of you the best of luck!

Heya!

My first cycle off bcp was anovulatory, I then ov between cd15-cd23 depending on if I'm taking anything (my favourite is fertilitea, since it includes multiple herbs that are good for ttc including vitex so check it out) or if I've had a chemical pregnancy(very early miscarriage)

It does indeed look like you've not ovulated yet, your temps should have a noticeable rise once you do and fertility friend will give you a mark line to indicate which day it is

I got my positive opk this afternoon! Yay! One brand was as dark as the control line and one was even darker than the control line! It's funny how excited I get for just a positive opk. Imagine how excited I'll be when it's a bfp! : haha: we're on our way out of town and have a long weekend with the holiday on Monday so perfect for bd'ing.

Ali - welcome - I think vitex might have helped me but it also could have just been my body finally regulating this cycle - can't know for sure.

Twinkie - if you want to add to the front page for me it was my 3rd cycle off. Cycles ranged from 29-34 days and AF from 3-8days, late O and short lp.

Funny, temp rise today but cp still high and having watery cm! Still sick so no chance of bd, I've tried one bd shot 2 days before ov on the side I've never conceived, at least I won't get my hopes up this month

In a way I'm not upset that it appears I haven't ov'd yet. DH has bad allergies and hasn't been feeling well the past few days so no BD. Hoping he feels well enough tonight. I also know my Temps are semi inaccurate. I always take it after shutting the alarm off and walking the few feet to the bathroom, but based on cm no ov yet either. Still high semi soft and semi open but definitely watery cm. I wonder if my body just keeps trying and failing.

I think Charlie had a similar problem with getting +OPK's but not ovulating hope you get your bd in soon, maybe it's worth getting back on the OPK's to see what happens?

How is everyone else? Looks like my body is playing with me too, it's not uncommon for my temps to screw around straight after ov but still can't reach my cp, wasn't sure about cm but definitely drier than the last few days. Hopefully I did ov yesterday or the day I got my +opk!

Yep patience is right Cdex. My body tries to O but never does. I get positive opks throughout my cycle around the time I should ovulate but my body doesn't follow through. So we did blood tests to confirm that I'm not ovulating and now we are trying clomid. It's really stressful to know that your body isn't doing what it's supposed to be doing on its own. But I'm super thankful for my dr being so amazing. Maybe you should call and ask your Dr what steps you can take because you don't think you're ovulating.

Ugh smear tests suck, I had abnormal cells a few years back and the treatment meant no bd for about 3 months glad I've been in the clear since then.!

Oh no, I was due a smear next week but they've told me to just wait now as will have one after baby. Happened the same last time and I was horrified having a smear a few months after conor, I was so sore!

Gender scan this weekend, excited for that
Although OH has gone working away this week for the first time in a few months so feeling a bit lost, this could be eventful especially with my hormones at the moment lol.

No sign of O for me yet, glad as don't really feel up to DTD today! Lol. Taking my opks but I'm on meds that mean I have to keep hydrated all the time.. so unfortunately that means my urine is almost clear! Don't think I'm going to get an accurate test like that.

Hi ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Cdex, I could be totally wrong, and I just started temping this month too so I'm certainly not a pro at it so maybe somebody else can chime in here one way or another. But based on everything I've read so far, it sounds like you shouldn't even get out of bed before taking your temp, as even that can skew the results. You shouldn't talk, shouldn't get out of bed, and should move as little as possible. So since you're walking to the bathroom (although it's close!) before you're taking your temp, maybe that's what's screwing them up a little? Just a thought!

Charlie, how's the Clomid doing for you so far? Are you feeling ok on it?

Charmed, hope the pap smear went ok today!

Afm, FF thinks I O'd on Friday but I'm sure that's not right. I'm sure it was either Saturday or Sunday, based on opk's and ovulation pains. My temp did go up a bit on Saturday morning (which I'm sure is why it thinks that) but I slept terribly on Friday night so I'm sure that's why. Oh well, we'll see what happens! We got in lots of bd'ing this weekend so I hope FF is wrong so it helps make our timing better!
