I found out yesterday that the hospital wont tell the sex untill 21 weeks?! Sounds odd. So I have to wait a week and a few days to hear! It's kinda bad to say, because I'd love either, but I'd love to have another girl and have two of each. Though a boy might keep me from doing anything permanant to keep from having another try at a girl.
My Hubby isn't sure we're done... I always thought it was the woman that wanted more. Funny, I'm not sure I'm up to it yet, I'll have to see how we fare with four.

My educator was lovely. We hit it off pretty well. I tested right there to make sure i can do it correctly and my levels were 147. I have to check 4 times a day. Before breakfast for my fasting levels which mine this morning was 87(very good) then i have to test 2 hrs after each meal. Mine last night after dinner was 154 and 2 hours after a meal it should be under 120. So i failed that one. I start my diet today so i am hoping my numbers will be pretty good from now on. She told me my levels should be high this week until i learn what makes my spikes. I have been swelling pretty good as well. I gained 12lbs in this last 3 weeks and i am thinking its because of the GD plus water gain from swelling. I am thinking i might get checked out later if the swelling hasnt gone down(i was badly swelled last night in my hands and feet)

We are thrilled little man is a boy. I am hoping that this isnt the last baby, OH goes back and forth all the time. He would love to have more. But i am hoping that with the history of preterm labor and delivery plus now my GD and possible future high BP that my body wont take another pregnancy. I will be very sad!!!

I'm glad you had a good session with the educator Corrieann.

When it comes to bread, I hear that sourdough is better for diabetics than regular bread, something to do with the fermentation process (my FIL has diabetes). Also use honey in place of sugar. Honey raises blood sugars slowly over time, instead of spiking them like sugar does.

It didnt go very well today. I didnt diet on target. I ate a little more carbs than i should have and i only got 1 good reading and the rest was crap. I will do better tomorrow. I dont want to keep gaining so much weight. I feel so heavy. I switched to whole grain bread I havent had a good selection in the towns grocery store so when i go to WalMart i will look harder there.

corrie-try not to be hard on yourself right now. your worker said it was gonna take a minute to figure things out. i gain too much weight with every pregnancy so i know how you feel. hang in there hun, only a little while left and it will all be worth it

i have my ob appt and 12 week scan on monday. im so excited to see the baby again. im gonna ask the specialist to take a nub guess

im having some bad cramps these last two days. i know things have to stretch and grow so hopefully thats all it is.

Hi ladies, corrie GL with the GD, I've not had it but it must be worrying, would it maybe be a positive for the little one though? Especially if they might creep out a little early, a little bit more weight would be a good thing for him maybe????

Even a slight angle is a good sign for a boy! And luckily that little pointer is almost vertical lol. I'm gonna have to wait til birth for any confirmation though, its gonna seem like aaaages

i always forget how it works. before i go on monday i will have to google some nub theory sites! i have had one guess on a baby and she tech wrong, so im not putting too much in it til my 20 week scan which will be more like 18 weeks i hope

hi ladies! i had my 12 week scan yesterday. we got moved to march 18 for a due date from the 21st, so a few days earlier. nuchal measurement was 1.4 so they said that was good. dr wouldnt give a nub guess. he said they all look the same at this point. i wanted them to just show me but didnt ask cuz the baby was being difficult and it took forever to get measurements. i guess i will have to just wait and see lol! theres never a bad time to grow some patience

Blessed, so glad all is well!!

Just two more days!! Then I get to see my little bean and make sure all is well. Have had a few stressful days (nothing to do with pregnancy), so I hope the stress hasn't bothered the little one.

yeah they didnt take any pics of the nub. and the specialist doing the scan said he wasnt gonna take a guess. he said they all look like boys to him at this point. oh well. i can wait a few more weeks. my DH said he would pay for an early gender scan if i wanted, but it would only be a couple weeks before i get a free one anyways. so with 5 kids and 1 on the way i really cant justify not waiting on the free one

my family are not happy my bro has been tryin for years and nothing so he isn't struck on me having anymore 4 is plenty apparently my mother is my rock but has said not to mention to her if i come off the pill just let her know when i am preg (i'm a conciever) i admit i have tried to sway before but it didn't work so i wanted to try naturally again but when will it end i know i really want a girl but what are the chances ay

it's reaaly nice to find a place where people are not frownd upon for having LARGE families all my friends have 2 kids one of each yep all of them so they just don't get why i want a big family myself and hubby always said we wanted 6 he works and so do i so why not but not everyone shares our love for more

when i had my last boy noone bar my mom and bro said congrats and people even said oh gutted it's a boy i was thrilled i love them all so much yes i want a girl but boys are wicked 2 i couldn't believe they said this and i sort of felt like me having a boy had let them down and infact i was over the moon with him
