Jess137- He's such a great husband, but sometimes I really don't think men get it. :dohh:

Yay TryinFor1!!!!!!

So you're now in your 2ww, I hope you don't symptom spot too much, it'll drive you cuckoo.

Rin - I don't think men get it sometimes either, typical eh?

Actually I am 8dpo!!!!

Testing Thursday morning at 10dpo but if bfn then testing again october 22, 12dpo. Hopefully one of those will produce a bfp!

Progesterone was 17.2!

OVULATION!!!!!!!!!

:happydance:

Wooo! I hope I'm not far behind you! And get good news too!

I'm 6dpo today and going for my progesterone check tomorrow morning. I'm nervous as when they drew my LH 6 days ago they said it was too low for me to ovulate (I got positive OPKs on two separate bands that morning)

Hello,

I'm quite new on here and saw this thread. Would it be ok to join? I have been trying for 6 months now. I was 2 weeks late this month and thought I could of been pregnant, but after 3 BFN's, AF made an appearance on Sunday :( So heres hoping for this month!

I want a baby so so much!!

xxx

I have never had a BFP - I have had times where I thought I was preggo - but the tests always say negative - it is always crushing :( then the *&%# witch gets me :(

Been seriously trying since dec (so 10 months at this point)

starting to feel inadequate as everyone at my former place of employment got preggo around the same time - I drank as much water as I could lol but still nothing

That and I have discovered my cycles are so wacked.

I know my mum had troubles getting preggo with me - had to take some sort of med - but as she has passed - I cant ask her which ones etc....Dad is an unreliable source of info for that stuff

Someone told me the best chance of pregnancy is when it is really inconvenient - well I am jobless right now - and I am still not knocked up :(

I've never had a BFP either! I have had positive OPK's though :)

I like using OPK's. I like seeing the positive lines even though they aren't pregnancy tests.

Me too! This was my first month using them and I about fell off the toilet when I got a positive even though it was just an OPK :)

I have never had a second line, still waiting and hopeful for it. GL ladies! :hugs:

I'm going to start using opks this cycle. I've ordered the clear blue digital ovulation tests off amazon.

Anyone have any tips/advice? What times of day is best? How many should I do a day?

Thanks xx

Hi ocean_pearl,

From what I've read, and been doing, you should test twice a day, late morning (11am to 1pm) and late afternoon (6 to 8 pm), to be sure to catch the LH surge.
Be sure not to drink any fluids 3 hours before testing (this is really difficult for me, because I'm always drinking water, and going to the bathroom :) so the urine is always clear)

Good luck!

My fertility specialist paperwork has you start on day 11 for a 28 day cycle and test with FMU -- and I was surprised because that seems contrary to what I've read online but I did catch a smiley face one morning and my Internet cheapie ones were positive at 7a and 1pm. And I got O confirmed yesterday with my progesterone draw.

TryingFor1 - did you test?

Fisher640 - how did the progesterone check go? Hope you've ovulated :)

Hey Cupcake11 - sorry to hear it's taking you ages, have you or your partner had any tests done?

Torsornin - It is crushing when the HPT's always show a BFN, how do you cope?
Sorry to hear about your mum, I'm sure if you try and get as much out of your dad as possible you might be able to join the dots :)

Have you had any testing done?

Luluss - how long have you been trying for? I should see my + OPK over the next few days, it's quite exciting isn't it, it's half way to a bfp I like to think!

babylove330 - how long is your 2ww, have you done any testing yet?

ocean_pearl - does the CB ovulation tests cost a lot? My advice is to test a few times every day (thats if you have loads). I found that going out of the normal times recommended by everyone I got better results - just experiment and try not to get too stressed with the results :)

oh crud, so you're testing again in 2 days? what symptoms have you been having?
