Things I cannot say out loud....

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Go the f*ck to sleep!!!!!!!!!! 5am is NOT PLAYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So wanted to shout that this morning at 5am, but apart from probably scaring LO, I think I may have woken my hubby... and as he has 'man-flu'... a playing baby & poorly man together is much worse than just a playing baby!!

Mum - get a grip, BFing is totally natural and a beautiful thing to do! Just because you have weird issues that meant you couldn't even entertain the idea doesn't mean that the rest of the world shouldn't do it too.

my MIL is totally against breastfeeding! she was sooo against me BFing DD that she bought bottles, steriliser and first milk and gave me it all before DD was born so that she would know it was there in those first few days when BF is the hardest!
silly moo! im going to BF again this time and hope i make her feel sooo uneasy that she wont visit often! :) lol xx

Get one of those crazy breastfeeding dolls for you oldest too, that'll make your MIL feel REALLY uncomfortable!

:haha: great idea!! iv been wondering what present to get DD from the baby, this would be an amazing present, both for her to understand what im doing and to make MIL uncomfortable! especially since when anyone comes to visit they have to play mummys with DD! that would be hilarious!

If you end up doing that you HAVE to tell me about it because I think it would be hilarious! I can just imagine right now your DD with her new doll convincing your MIL to put the vest on and feed baby

camera at the ready! :D il deffo get 1, DD doesn't understand breastfeeding, she has bottles for her dolly so it would b great 4 her! iv only seen them on american sites, anyone know were to get them in the uk? xx

I don't know about where to get one here but I just remembered I heard they're quite expensive so if you didn't want to go all out buying the real one you could always just make your own vest part and put it with a regular doll maybe?
Oh and you might check amazon for one they seem to have everything! Or ebay maybe?

And if you cant find one I'm going to the US in 2 weeks I'd be willing to get one and mail it to you =)

SIL: You can throw a baby fit all you want about your mom and I spending time together. Its inevitable. We all live in the same house. And she's my MIL and the grandmother to my children. You're 23 years old and you're jealous of me having time with your mom? Grow up.

I've got one like this, and she's 45!

We saw them in December, but it's hard cause they haven't seen Alex yet :( We're very close.

Dear HV, Please don't bring good looking male students to my house  I look like hell. (damn he was sooooo cute!) :haha:

i looked on ebay as amazon didnt have them and they were £60 odd pound not including the delivery of about £25! :O gobsmacked! luckily i have a mum who makes up for not seeing faith regularly with presents hehe usually this is annoying, but iv just told her that i think faith would love 1, so she can be the idiot to spend that much on a doll lol!
Thankyou for offering to pick me 1 up tho! so kind :D i doubt a neighbour would go pick up a pint of milk from the shop for me on their way home from school run etc, never mind anything from further afield!
now i have to think of something else as the present off the baby for DD!

btw if you need a good laugh in october then keep an eye out for a thread full of pics of a horrified MIL, im not even going to attempt to hide myself BFing baby, i have bought slings and covers and nursing tops etc but when she visits im going to throw on a blouse so that i have to undo the buttons enough to get my boob out and feed baby in plain sight hahaha OH will be at the ready with the camera and we will deffo have to post all the pics of her face! i wonder if her face will get less horrified as time goes on and she gets used to it or if her face gets more horrified because she cant believe im still doing it! haha! LMAO i might tell her that the baby has a breastfeed of a morning and night until she reaches about 7! that would be a great horrified face! either that or we can nickname babys fave ted or blankie as boobie so that she always asks for boobie! that would probably have MIL running for the hills lmao! o this has cheered me up no end! xxxxx

 All that had me laughing, especially saying she'll breastfeed until she's 7! I remember my mom asked every time we talked if I was still breastfeeding, although she tried really hard not to show that she thought it was weird I could tell she did. When I told her I had to stop at 13 months she actually seemed happy which was slightly annoying because I was a little upset.
I just can't help but laugh now when I hear of people being uncomfortable with other people breastfeeding, I just imagine how horrified they would have been a few hundred years ago!
Oh and as for a present from baby to sister, maybe you could do something like a sisters keepsake type thing? Like maybe a pair of little dolls holding hands?

LMAO my MIL would of been the one to invent formula if she had had OH that long ago lol!
i can understand people not wanting to see someone breastfeeding as now days boobs are such a private thing, but i cant get my head around someone hating and being against breastfeeding as much as MIL is! i just dont get it and even when i try to understand what she finds so wrong about it, she just says its not right :dohh: so then were right back at square 1!
ooo when i had to stop BF DD i had the exact same voice from MIL the overly happy voice but not going to show it too much incase you flip on me because i know your upset and feeling llike a failure lol! i just used to freak her out by storing my expressed milk in the fridge then haha! we used to go around for lunch some days and id take a few bags of breastmilk and put them in the fridge next to the normal milk and then id ask her to make me a cuppa while i changed DD bot hahaha! you would think the bags were toxic the way she avoided them!
lol it had me in stitches too, talking about scaring the MIL over breastfeeding always makes me laugh lol!
we already have a sisters scrapbook and bits and pieces that me and DD can stick in there as our special time together which will be her and a little sisters statue thing but we wanted something that she could play with, our first idea was arts and craft supplies but she would probably want me to get on the floor and help  i dont think il be getting down on the floor that soon after giving birth lol! our 2nd thought was a bike as she has just learnt how to ride and she only has the bike thing from mothercare, the 1 that goes from a rider seat with parents pushing into a bike, but then i thought no because she would be zooming around the house on it lol! il have to get my thinking cap on, its not getting further away! lol!

dear bella,

let's leave the banging your head on something count at 3 today please.

thanks!

xx

Dear LO- cute as it is- feeding the dogs your toast because its hilarious, is not appropriate! Lol
Also, sidling up the cot and bashing your feet off the bars because you don't want to nap is not funny because the dogs think it is someone at the door!

DS- please stop repeating everything or telling me what is happening on the telly, I can SEE it with my own eyes! It is really annoying.
Also, please stop growing up so fast, when the hell did it get time for you to start primary 2!! :(

OH-I brought you a box to put your xbox crap in for a reason- so do not take said box up stairs when you took xbox up and then leave it up there so that there is nowhere for the crap to live. Your empty irn bru cans do NOT look great.... one on the shelfon the side of the fire surround, one on the mantel peice, one on the coffee table, one on the fire place? ARGH there is a BIN

Thank you for not going off on one when I said I was picking up Millie tomorrow unil a rescue place at the kennels is avaiable, I think you already know I want to keep her instead of rehoming her.

Also I am sorry for being so sh!t when it comes to bed time I don't really want to just go to sleep but apart from not feeling up to it I havent stopped since I got my monthly :(

Rosie dear please sleep better tonight. Being up 5x is not fun.

DH thanks for the help last night NOT!! You made it sound like you did more aroundthe house today and you didn't. I think about leaving you everyday. You are lazy.

Mom stop giving me shit about how clean my house is. I try by I work full time. Feel free to sit DH down. And give him a good talking to.

Myself What is your problem?!! Fix your life.

Dear Period,

I so did not miss you.

Thanks for coming like a waterfall. Great while I'm at work.

DD: ok ok I get it!! You need the next size nappy up!!! You did not need to have 2 poopolsions to prove you point! Dear lord, more washing!

Oh yeah, laughing while I had to clean your poo from your arm pits it's not the behaviour of a young lady. Cute tho. I think it's made your auntie sinead book in for sterelisation... :(

:haha: i remember my DD doing this! she done quite a few pooslosions when she was little, i didnt attempt to clean her with wipes, i used to sit her in her bath seat and hose her down with the shower lol! that along with the huge farts when somebody would wipe her botty, the dribbling snot when she had a cold, puking up her milk and then swallowing it  and the constipated face she would pull while pooing was enough to make you think twice about her being a lovely little princess lol!
