TTC#1 thread for ladies hoping for 2013 BFP's!! Supporting each other every step :-)

I am 12 DPO today and took this test this morning. I am still hesitant to get excited because of past miscarriages, but this is making it hard to not get excited :)

Congrats babmabey...enjy nxt 9 months x

Congrats babymabey! Totally understand the not wanting to get too excited, in exactly the same still. Hope everything works out for you this time!

Hi girls,

Hope you're all well still!

Just wanted to pop back in to let you know I got my BFP a few days ago at 12 and 13dpo...

Taking it one day at a time at the moment and trying not to get too excited after our early loss last cycle, but hoping that this is our rainbow baby here for keeps.

Good luck to the rest of you, I hope this will bring some luck to the thread and that there will soon be many more following! :)

Hey bubbles, we chatted a while back as we had the same name...congrats on the great news...hope all goes well for u ths time x

Ah hello again!

Thank you, hope you're not far behind! :)

Congratulations bubbles! I am 13dpo due af today, still no sign, but having cramps so dont think she's far away. Took a ic yesterday afternoon bfn :( I've got a fr but dont want to waste it, trying to just convince myself that the ic are rubbish ha ha. Fingers crossed she stays away!

Thanks!

Cramps can be a good sign, I've had them both times with my BFPs but I know it's unusual for me as I don't really get them around AF.

IC's are definitely rubbish, I got a load of them that were meant to be the most sensitive at 10miu, so better than the FRERs, but still not getting much of a line on them days after getting strong lines on the FRER and a positive digi:

Oh now that makes me even more tempted to poas ha ha. Surely it's too late in the day for 13dpo, do you think?

Wow looks like we're getting quite a few BFP's now ladies :happydance:

Fingers crossed to everyone still waiting for af her not showing is a good sign keep up the faith and keep us upto date.

babymaybe and bubbles so happy for you both fingers crossed these both go well for you. I will keep happy thoughts and wishes for you both
xxxxx

Thanks for the welcome! AF arrived today so I'm at CD1. So far we have been BD'ing every 2 days but not measuring anything. Am thinking I will use an OPK for the first time this cycle to put my mind at ease that I am actually ovulating. Is there a particular brand that anyone would recommend?

I know I am extremely late, but can I join you gals?

I am 29 and DH is 32. We met back in 2007, but didn't date until March 2009. We got married that same year in October. We were NTNP for the first 2 years of our marriage, but decided it was time to really try since we weren't getting any younger and obviously nothing hasn't happened yet.

So went to the Gyno to make sure everything was good to go since I thought maybe there was something wrong with me. After series of tests and doctor visits, he recommended me using Clomid to help give me a boost even though there nothing was wrong with me. I tried Clomid in April and May of 2012, but ended up being hospitalized since the Clomid sent my right ovary into hyper-ovulation, which caused a huge cyst to rupture.

Gyno said I needed to see a fertility specialist for additional help since there was nothing more he can do for me. I decided not to go down that route. If there is nothing wrong with me or DH then there is no need to go through all that. Although I am going to see a new Gyno for a second opinion.

We are starting on month 9 of TTC. I am going onto 5 months of using opks (the digital smiley face one) and 4 months of charting my temps. I am hoping that I finally get a BFP before my 30th bday this year.

Sorry for the extremely long novel :haha:

I use the Clearblue Digital test. Its more on the expensive side, but it is so much easier for me to just get the smiley face then trying to compare lines myself. I bought a kit with 20 tests for $35 at wal-mart and now going on to 5 months of using it and still have about 8-9 tests left. However, my cycles are pretty regular so I have a good idea when I am about to ovulate so I don't use that many tests each month.
