TTC after BCP's

akgrown- so nice that u know the feeling...we are together til CD18...so hopefully that will get my BFP...as am due to ov on CD 13....got 5 days extra...then 2 nights apart...then back together...so shud catch that egg either way with 24 lifespan..yay..i know i love the bump pics in 1/2/3 trimester xx

Maybe Baby - I have my fingers crossed for you this month (for us all ) I hope stays away! I think I am going to have to go look at the bump pictures again this morning for good luck!

Happyladybugg - I am so grateful for the team - everyone is so nice and it has been wonderful to feel like everyone who has come off of BCP can talk and understand what we are al going through (And I figured out how to make my signature this morning -YAY!!)

You have a pink one, I have a purple one and Akgrown has a green one. Last time I checked, Crailly's wasn't working

Perhaps we need to put all the codes on page 1 so newbies can pick one to add to their sig.

My love although I tried to put a banner code on page one...it just wasnt happening! If you know how then by all means, I think that is a splendid idea! Last time I saw Crailly's page she had a blue one.

I have since seen Crailly has made here own. Off for a looksie at page 1 to see if I can figure out why yours is not working for others. It will keep me from worrying for a minute or 2. I seem to be tech support tonight and I know little myself

Hi everyone nice ideas for a thread, it's nice to talk to people in the same boat. Heres my info

Location: UK

How long you were on the pill: 5 years

How long have you been off the pill: since Monday 20th April

Months/cycles ttc: This is our first month ttc

Are your cycles regular since coming off the pill: I don't know yet, I am expecting to arrive 21st May if we don't conceive so we will see what happens

What made you realize you were ready to start ttc: Me and OH have wanted a baby for a long time but we hadn't decided to go ahead for various reasons. Sadly my dad passed away at the end of last year which kind of put things into perspective for me , it made me realise what was important to me and that we should just go for it instead of waiting any longer as life if too short and you never know what is going to happen. So fingers crossed for that soon and to everyone else too

ive tried the banners from page 1 but ima bit thick when it comes to computers and couldnt get them to work .
well no change for me here,still dont where abouts i am in cycle,kinda annoying but what else can i do but wait.

Gypsy - did you use the ones I did on post 3? If so did you remove the spaces as appropriate? If you still can't do it, then PM me your email addy and I'll send the links in a word doc. That way you will only have to copy and paste (no removing spaces etc) What is going on with your cycle then? (sieive brain here if it's already been posted)

If anyone else has trouble then also PM me your email addy and I'll send you the links.

I've tried PMing the codes to ladybugg without spaces, but it didn't work as the messaging system instantly translated code to pic IYKWIM

What made you realize you were ready to start ttc: settled down with fiance, both got good jobs and would love to start a family, but with no luck

I need all the advice you guys have, feeling really down as doctor just suggested going back on the pill to make me regular again.

You need to go to User CP at the top of this page, then select edit signature.

Then enter (copy and paste) the code (page 1 post 3) removing the spaces as requested.

Hiya Kate, I'm not sure going back on the pill will help, but I'm not a Dr. I'm sure there is some herbal stuff recommended to regulating cycles, have you tried anything like that. Check the main TTC forum or post there for help. Angus Castus has been mentioned, but I can't remember why

Hi Kate I'm so sorry you're feeling down...it can be really frusterating when you dont know whats going on with your own body...when I came off the pill and didnt get the withdrawl bleed at all, just a whole bunch of weird symptoms, when did finally show up it was about a month after I stopped the pill and during that month I was so freaked out about my body, most of my issues were stress related though. I hope you dont have to get back on the pill...are you stressed at all because I know once I just stopped thinking about and worrying about everything(as hard as it was) the just popped in and surprised me and I never thought in a million years I would be so happy to see her. Good luck to you hunny I hope everything works out.

hi,tiggercats,i havent explained about my cycles so here goes-
been back and forward to drs for various blood tests,scans etc but now reffered to fertility specialist, appointment not until 3rd june,should have been this week but had to cancel due to other commitments
my first finally arrived nearly 12 month after stopping bcp,i was so pleased and thought this might be me getting back to "normal" i thought wrong.
ive been temping,checking ewcm etc this month but i feel like im wasting my time,dont know what else to do,probably just wait it out,ive waited 12 month now so i suppose a little longer wont hurt.
i might try that angus castus i think anythings worth a try.

thanks for the help with the banner i will try it shortly.

haha yes u all know what i have been doin with myself this evening starting as we mean to go on...once a day until i test posetive on my OPK's haha...have come to my room (or my haven) as i call it for some good old BnB time...thankyou for allowing me the day off Happyladybugg haha and thanku all for ure support...has been a tough 10 days without him but all happy now..keep sending how is everyone
