Ps has anyone else tried 30 day shred?

Hi Mazzle,

Yes, I tried the 30 Day Shred 2 years ago. It was good for a few weeks, then you get tired of the same exercises. They do have 3 levels though and when I tried the intermediate, I could not complete it fully because there was a lot of lunges and I cannot do them due to arthritis in both my knees!

It is a great start to starting a workout program but you really need variation to stay motivated. I started doing Les Mills workouts at my gym and I have never looked back! There are many different classes and the workouts change on a weekly basis. It keeps your muscles guessing and you get real results!
 
That pound will come off in no time! I'd actually be excited to see i only gained 1 lb LOL. You got this!

Mazzle, ugh sorry. I read your post wrong. Good luck to you hun! Oh and no, i've never done the 30 day shred. I'd LOVE to one day be able to do the insanity workouts.

OH makes tea/coffee all day & always makes me one! Lol

Well I weighed myself this morning (because i'm a scale addict lol):wacko: and it said i had gained 2.6lbs over the weekend!! There is no way!! But started AF saturday so hopefully thats why!! I busted my butt exercising this weekend lol...gonna give it a day or so to see what happens i guess:shrug:
but just for laughs...i did some of the "biggest loser last chance workout" yesterday and this is how i felt!!:holly: how awful!! bahaha!
 
LOL do you have a sports bra? I have to workout in one of those. Otherwise the jiggling drives me crazy!!!!!! Was the DVD any good? I love the biggest loser!!! I wish i could go on there. I'd love to pull a 13lb loss in a week!! As for the 2.6, definitely AF. I'd wait to weigh yourself until it's over. It's all water weight. Just keep doing what you're doing! Working out with AF SUCKS!! I hate it. AF is suppose to show Thursday for me.

AFM, have drank 33oz of water so far today. Went to the gym and did 10.4 miles on the upright stationary bike. Feeling like i could go back and do more. Sweat my butt off!
 
Well, I started my diet last week. I'm weighing in today because I'll be on night shift tomorrow.

Last week's starting weight - 223 lbs
Current weight - 215 lbs...

8 lb loss!! Wow. Only 40-45 lbs to go until goal!
 
Soooo excited to see this thread! I'm just recently started my new healthier way of life. It is not only important for me but my DH, DS and DFO!
I don't have a chance to get to the gym much but my new elliptical is on its way plus I'm trying to keep up with my 19mo DS. I just recently saw my nutrionist and she helped me understnad a few things I'm doing wrong. First off I wasn't intaking enough calories and reducing my resting metabolic rate so I'm trying to improve the way I eat and the quanity of what I eat! I have noticed some changes already :happydance: but there is still a long road ahead to maintain a healthier lifestyle!

Current weight - 215 lbs...

8 lb loss!! Wow. Only 40-45 lbs to go until goal!

Well weighed in and 1lb on.....gutted! I know why though so it's not a shock, plus although I'm on injection I'm slightly bleeding atm so blaming that aswell lol x

Lol yes I def have to wear a sports bra!!! It was more my belly! Lol I'll be glad when that junk is gone!! The workout is good but tough!! I only did 10 min and I'm soooo sore cuz it was stuff I dont normally do. Guess that's telling me something huh lol

Awesome job on the 10 miles!!! I love it when I get done working out and feel like I could go back for more!!

Alright ladies I suppose I will start the weights off for the day. I'm down to 168 this morning :happydance: from 171!

Woohoo Barbara! -2lbs is AWESOME!! I love the feeling you get when you step on the scale and see that!! Congrats!

Cmosley - i know what you mean about being sore. Everytime i do tae-bo i am sore for weeks. I try to do that for 45mins and i am just beat to the max. Especially lunges. OMG them hurt so bad. I couldn't even DTD for awhile because it hurt my legs to spread LOL!

Today was weigh in day for me!

Starting weight -302
Last week - 294.6
Today - 288.6
Lost - 6lbs/week
Total - 13.4lbs
