Hi! I am new to the forum. This is my first month TTC and I'm currently in my TWW. The anticipation is killing me! I am currently 11 DPO and got a BFN this morning. My tests are a high sensitivity (10 mIU/ml) so I am starting to get discouraged. I feel pregnant and have been getting slight twinges and cramps since 2 DPO. I have also felt extremely fatigued and have had insatiable hunger. My chest has also been very swollen and tender. I do not normally have PMS symptoms, so I was pretty confident that I was pregnant, but my BFNs are so discouraging. AF is due around 5/31. I got pregnant in 2008 with twins without even trying, so I assumed I wouldn't have any trouble this time. I can't focus on anything but pregnancy, so I thought I would join this forum to talk with other people who are TTC.

Good morning Alyssa I am due for AF on the 31st as well, guess we're cycle buddies...I tested this morning and another BFN for me Like you I am obsessed with becoming all things baby, I literally have already purchased baby stuff and picked a nursery theme, which is fun,however every month ,all these negative tests are extremely discouraging ..I look around and see beautiful pregnant women and lovely babies.Literally !! Everywhere. I didn't realize it would be so hard to get pregnant well hope you have a great day (and get a BFP

I'm new here...
This is my 5th month TTC.
We began trying for our second child on January. I was taking vitamins and clomid since then.
On February, I had a chemical pregnancy. My OBGYN put me on progesterone and March cycle went fine.
On this last cycle, which began in April I made ovulation tests which were positive on both CD 15 and CD 17. We had relations on the right time!
Then on the CD 24 (9 DPO) I started having spotting, a brownish blood and I was like that for 5 days which ended with a eggwhite mucus and stopped. On the last day I had strong pain in my belly and I took paracetamol.
Now I am on the CD 34 (19 DPO) and I have decided to make a test and it gave me a BFN.
I have tender breasts and rhinitis.
I don't know what to think anymore: maybe that blood I had was period and I'm already in another cycle? Maybe I ovulated too late?
My normal cycle lenght is 32 days and my luteal phase is 13 days. By the way, I take my TB every morning and they are now 97,95F. My normal are 97,16 F before ovulation.
So what do you think it could be? Did I tested too early? Thanks.

hmm, I can't give you too much advice just support Sounds promising though My hubbs and I have been ttc for 5 months as well and no luck, I am supposed to start on the 31st and I am addicted to testing :/ all negatives!! Best of luck, keep us posted...Oh so your normal bbt is 97.1, and right now 97.9, mine is usually 96 ish and is currently 97.7- I hate this part of the month

Hi Misty! I also had another BFN this morning =/ I am feeling really down today. What kind of tests are you using? I am thinking about going to get a different test to try for tomorrow. I agree that it seems like everywhere I look someone is pregnant. I am so anxious! My husband and I have been waiting for a long time to start trying and the timing is finally right. I want it so bad! I told my husband that every morning that I see a negative test feels like I am mourning my imaginary baby, because I felt so sure! Let's just keep our fingers crossed that our AFs don't show up this weekend!

Daisy, I wish I could help you with some answers, but I'm afraid I am so new to the TTC world that I am not very knowledgable in that department. I wish you the best of luck though! It sounds to me like maybe you got a false negative. I would maybe try another test or see about getting blood work.

Hi guys
I've never done this before but spent so long stalking these forums I thought I'd give it a go!
I'm 5dpo today (I think) and I have been referred to a fertility specialist because of problems ovulating with PCOS. This cycle has been 55 days so far, I've been getting the LH surges but then nothing happens. They have told me to try 100mg clomid when af arrives (I took this when ttc my daughter, now 3yrs old) but just before I left they did a scan to check everything was ok and it looks like I may have ovulated on my own! No major symptoms, just sore bbs and some funny pinchy feelings today. Would be great if I didn't have to take the meds after all. Keeping everything crossed for you ladies out there waiting for your BFP !! x

Alyssia believe me I KNOW how you feel, I have spent the morning pretty emotional my BBt dropped .2 this morning I am almost positive I'm out for the month, I guess I can find a positive in this as I have a 26 day cycle and will be starting over....I am with you I want this SO badly, it's heart wrenching- I am using first response,clear blue easy,and our local grocery store brand (HEB) *sighs* I actually took 3 tests yesterday, and am completely addicted to this forums and symptom spotting :/ Fingers crossed for you and daisy both Keep me posted...I have noticed it helps knowing there are others going through exactly what I am ...Daisy how are you ? Good luck with your doctors appt-baby dust tto us all

Thanks Baby cakes keeping mine crossed for you as well!! WOW a 55 day cycle, that's insane - I feel for you, really I do ,geez 26 days watching waiting,and reading far too much into ANY 'sign' is hard enough on a short cycle..GL with the clomid Keep us posted!!

Daisy We have been ttc for 5 months as well, I was on mirena for 5 years and I fear it messed me up, I try to stay positive hoping me body is just trying to get beck to normal after the bc...

Thanks Misty will do. It has dragged on sooo long this cycle but hoping if I have ovulated this time it shouldn't be too long to wait until I know either way. I read in an earlier post that you had sharp pains lower down and to the side, this sounds similar to mine! Hope it's a good sign for us both! Let us know how your next test goes, good luck xx

I did!! I generally have pretty bad cramps pre AF and this month I haven't, my breasts are swollen and nipples are extremely tender, high cervix I keep hoping this is the month!! Today I am not feeling too confident though,could be lack of CM ,or that my headaches aren't as bad as they were a few days ago.... I hope we both get BFP's well all of us on this page

Misty, I am also starting to feel like I'm out =\ but I will keep my fingers crossed for all of us! I'm going to visit my mom for the weekend and I felt so sad packing pregnancy tests AND tampons, because anything can happen. I bought first response yesterday and still had a BFN today. I also used clear blue. My mom is a nurse and she scored me a box of 30 tests from her work, so I've been using those too.

My cycle is 28 days, I can't imagine 55! Good luck with everything!

Hi All,

Returning here as I'm in TWW again for the 8th cycle. The past two days i started to have a sore throat today it's worst. I can barely talk coz it hurts. I also had my blood drawn to check my progesterone level for my CD21 test. Breast started to feel normal again but it they were so full/heavy and painful to touch few days ago... I would just like to ask if anyone who got their BFPs had a sore throat as their sign. I don't have a flu/cold. Just a sore throat.

No sore throat for me, but I had a dry throat and was really thirsty with both of my recent BFPs.

AF should have arrived this morning, and have an extremely dry throat last 2 days and THIRSTY!! Keeping my fingers crossed she isn't just late, had BFN's all week including this morning, GL ladies
