Kallie! I meant to say before, Hey! How are you! It's good to see you back here (in a manner of speaking, since I'm sure you'd rather be over in 1st tri). But, it's nice to see a familiar face in the TWW.

How are your symptoms treating you this cycle?

AFM- I'm 1 DPO, FF keeps putting my ovulation on the day of my positive opk, but I don't ovulate until like two days later. I think the slow rise before my actual ovulation is throwing it off...but it always ignored it before I started putting in the opks.

We did the SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) again this month, since it worked so well last month. DH is apparently really excited about this month. I had a good feeling about June before my mc, but I can't really get up the same enthusiasm I had before. They say you're super fertile the three months after a mc...It seemed to be true last month, so maybe we'll get lucky again this month.

I suppose I'll just have to wait and see...1 day down, 13 more to go....

5-6 DPO? Really? You kind of wasted that test there, huh. You do know it doesn't count until the egg implants, right? Implantation usually happens between 7-12DPO...Maybe try again in a few days.

But I'm glad it gave you some hope. I hope the next time you go crazy, you get a better result...as in a BFP.

Well that sure sounded snotty.....so much for not feeling judged....

Anyways, yes I am aware of that but I miscalculated my dpo when I decided to test and thought I was closer to 9 dpo. I'm pretty new to ttc and didn't realize that ovulation occurred after the lh surge AND I'm not sure exactly when my surge was. I work in a lab so the tests are free. I just decided what the hell. I might as well run it knowing that its early but a positive would be a positive.

That did come off snotty (bordering on bitchy), didn't it? Sorry, Tierra.

I did think after I went to work that it probably didn't sound like it did in my head online. I'm slightly sarcastic by nature, but sometimes I forget sarcasm doesn't translate. I usually try to translate it into something that sounds less harsh...but, yeah...that didn't happen this morning.

Not trying to be judgy, so sorry about that. I'm sure if we had access to free tests, we'd all be doing them.

What I was going for was, '5-6DPO, wow, that's early. Testing that early probably won't give you the results you're looking for because there hasn't been implantation yet. But, it's close. Try again in a few days and hopefully, you'll see a BFP.'

A bunch of the girls at my work are trying to get pregnant too and we're all guilty of running our HCGs far too early. I can guarantee anybody with that kind of access would do the same thing. It is really interesting to see what your hormone levels look like at each little step. I'm going to try to wait until next week and just do a regular old urine preg. That's what my husband wants me to do and I can't blame him. He wants to be a part of the excitement (or letdown)!

I have been hearing about this beta testing. Is it just an hcg count? How do you go about getting one? Do you just go to the doctor and ask for one? Or do you have to be late? Or is it only under special conditions? Now I'm curious.

The Beta HCG is also called a quantitative HCG. It's a blood test that measures the exact amount of HCG instead of just a positive or negative. It's typically a doctor-ordered test, but facilities are starting to let you order them on yourself and pay out of pocket...ours is $20. You should call around if you're interested

So far all I have found are places who charge for a doctors order then there is an additional charge for the test. I called a lab but they wouldn't do anything without a doctors order. Ugh. I guess it's too late now since tomorrow is Friday and the lab said it's next day results. AF is supposed to be here Tuesday so I might as well suck it up at this point. I was hoping to know something for sure for Fathers day. Still bfn this morning and no nausea today. Just headache and backache. But I have a lot going on right now. It so could be stress related.

Bummer! I'm sorry! It's kind of a new philosophy and my lab is only doing it to compete with the other lab in town. I'm abstaining from doing testing myself at work so I'm right there with ya girl

Wait, so would they give you the results on Saturday if you did it today or would you have to wait until Monday?

There's still time for a Father's Day BFP! Don't give up! That would be such a lovely way to celebrate Father's Day! I hope it works out and you see those two beautiful lines by Sunday. Good luck!

Around cycle 8 or 9 I had a TWW where I was SO SURE I had every symptom in the book, I MUST be pregnant. NOPE - totally normal hormones + an overactive imagination! Ever since then my TWW symptoms seem to have been way lower, maybe because I haven't let my mind get out of control like before. ...

It IS nice to see a familiar face, I agree! I'm doing really well, get down about it sometimes, but overall I've been really busy and happy and working on getting really, really healthy and such. I find thinking to myself, "The longer it takes to get pregnant, the longer I have to work on being healthier, happier, and richer!" and that seems to help me .. most of the time

I started testing yesterday (POAS addict here - but I use dollar store tests, so its not overly expensive at least...) on DPO 9. BFN yesterday and today, but the tests are only 25 mui sensitivity, so whatever.

Sometimes I feel like getting an early BFN makes it a bit easier (even though it is also sad); it would be tougher to think you were going to get a BFP because you waited until your period was a day late.. and instead your period was just a day late. (I have short luteal phase in general, so if my period comes on DPO 13 instead of DPO 12 I get all riled up!!

Do you guys test? Does it make you feel better or worse? Or both, like me?

apparently after my surgery and spotting and never getting AF, it is possible to O and be back in this tww. So strange! Check out my chart. BD was timed perfectly NOT ON PURPOSE! Awesome. We shall see what happens.

This is my first time posting here; hope I'm in the right place! Sorry if it's a little long but I'm completely confused!

I'm currently at 15dpo and usually have a 28-30 day cycle, I have endometriosis which can cause AF to be a day or two out but it's generally 28-30 days. My LMP was 17th May & I believe I ovulated around 31st May, we BD that night and on the nights before.

I have been having weird cramps and creamy white cm from about 5dpo. I have noticed blue veins appear around my boobs which lead to my nipples and get a stabbing/pin prick sensation at least every hour, worse when I have a bra on. They are sore and seem a little bigger as does my stomach (bloated).

At 12dpo I had one small bleed, only on the toilet paper - it was bright(ish) red and only happened the once, it completely disappeared after that. On 13dpo, 14dpo & this morning I have had a very light pink discharge which seems watery. On the night of 14dpo I did a hpt which was negative.

I have been having mild cramping, feeling nauseated but haven't thrown up (just that feeling in my throat like I'm about to), weird feeling in my armpits and feeling hungry but full at the same time. Hot flashes, tired but can't sleep properly and some dizziness. I also had a sore throat and very stuffy nose as well as thrush (I think) between 5dpo-8dpo - all disappeared on their own.

Do you think I could be pregnant despite the bfn or my brain & body are just tricking me and AF will arrive soon?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm really confused!

Some of your symptoms sound really promising, though the pink spotting does make things a little more confusing.

Try testing first thing in the morning with a hpt. The HCG needs to build up in your system to get good positives on tests, so fmu is the best.

I didn't get a BFP until 15 and 16DPO, so it's not too late to see one! I hope you get that BFP you're waiting for!! Good luck!!

ttc - it really is possible... I had no af for 4 months and still managed to get a BFP. Good luck honey. x

Hi everyone!
I am new to posting to forums..period...so bare with me as I learn all the new baby lingo lol.

As of today I am about 2 - 3 days late. My LMP was 5/17/14 and was supposed to see AF on 6/13/14. My shortest cycle has been 24 days and my longest was 32 days. My (.)(.) usually hurt about a week before AF and they just started hurting 2 days ago. I took my bra off this morning really fast (rushing for work) and the pain was ridiculous once gravity hit LOL. I am also have a slight burning sensation in my abdominal area. Not sure if this is AF coming or the after burn from me working out yesterday. I am not sure when or if I O'd last month. I have been off my IUD since 2012 and we have yet to see a BFP. I hope nothing too serious is wrong with me. I am 32 and the mother of 2 pretty ladies. I am hoping to get a BFP and hopefully give them a brother. I pos yesterday afternoon and this morning only to get BFNs. I am kind of discouraged but hopeful. I just don't want to think about it too much and end up with another failed attempt.

I have heard of people getting implantation cramping, or random cramping for no reason, so it doesn't tell you a ton, but it COULD be related to early pregnancy! I haven't been pregnant, but still

Hi girlies! Omg! So I read Every last comment from this month... Got real good positive vibes from you girls!
so I know a lil bit about everyone and about me I have 1 DD 2 and a half and currently TTCing baby #2! First cycle BFP due on the 24th... I am currently 9/10 dpo...dtd day of.ov (I think) and day before! Loads.of baby dust to everyone and don't forget to send some my way!!

I also had some cramps on friday night through Saturday and had light brownish cm on tissue when I pee'd and one lil dark brownish/redish stretchy bloody thingee on Saturday. Since then it's gone away...no more cramps...no more spotting. Could it have been early implantation? It happened around 5/6dpo..

So, I had a pretty good temp dip a couple of days ago and my temp has gone back up, which is encouraging. Today's symptoms include dizziness, light nausea, an increased sensitivity to smells, dry mouth/sore throat (I'm sooo thirsty all the time), and I'm slowly becoming super emotional again. I've also had some pulling/twinges/pain that I associate with implantation, but who knows if that's what's actually going on down there. It could just be a BM or something. lol. It's probably wishful thinking at this point, but I guess we'll see what happens. Six more days until testing!

How are the rest of you ladies? Any updates?
