AF due 2/21 Someone help me to NOT test early!!

I have a CVS thermometer and there's only beeping when you turn it on and when it's finished. My husband hasn't said anything about it so far, but I do wish there was a therm that would just beep once on start/finish. I have to set an alarm to take it too and picked the most gentle babbling brook I could find for that and have managed to get it quickly enough so that it barely makes a sound at all. Need to get a watch that will vibrate as an alarm, I think. That would be even better.

I'm sure it wakes him up a little, but it's no worse than me getting up for the bathroom so he hasn't complained.

I've only been at it for 5 days... we'll see where my resolve is if I have to spend months and months doing it. I set my alarm for half an hour before I get up in the morning (which does wake up the hubby, oops), temp, and doze off for the remaining time.

How would I know if the tests are real or fake wondfos?

I have an alarm set early each morning, anyway, and I keep the BBT thermometer right by the bed. It makes it easier! And I can track the temps in FF. I've only been at this for 5 days, though, haha.

Thankfully there's no memory required. The thermometer stores the last temp, so I just go back to sleep and put it in FF when I get up.... The alarm was getting turned off and no temps taken for a bit in the beginning, but I've been on a good streak with it post-o.

I also had to experiment with whether I should take it when I got up in the middle of the night (because I rarely sleep for three hours straight) or if I should just wait until 6am no matter how long I've slept before then. Waiting until 6 is much less jagged looking, and there aren't any open circles on FF that way etiher.

I glad I gave it a try - since I had multiple positive opks, the temp shift is the only way to tell that I really ovulated at all. I wasn't super good at it this month, but now I think I've got the hang of it, so next month should be better.

Oh, and my thermometer is actually stuck in between my mattress and my boxspring so I just reach down and grab the end of it sticking out without having to move anything but my arm. It looks stupid, but it works. lol

Dill- I don't think I can wait until next week! I am 10dpo right now, and I reeeaaalllly want to wait to test on Friday. (12dpo) That was my original thought.....

Lite -- I'm pretty sure you've got knockoffs! Standard internet cheapies. They should still work, but you may find them to be less accurate and harder to read than the real deal. What do the foil packets look like?

tankel -- do you want me to try to talk you out of those symptoms? Because I'd probably start POAS, haha.

AJ -- mine has memory, but for whatever reason, I always just chart it straight away!

davis -- I hate to encourage early testing, but 12dpo is totally reasonable!

Lame! Go through US Testing. It's a few cents more per order, but I have always received legit tests through them. (My batch of fakes came from EverythingDeals.)

Contact Amazon support about it, too -- they should refund you.
