Well done linds! Why would women have to go to a room to BF anyway?! Hope the day was fun!

Not sure what is going on, think cluster feeding - she has pretty much been on me since we came home at 5, she isn't taking that much in, just sucking for comfort. Assuming she is increasing my supply?! Not sure how it works. She is such a cutie though!

yeah just go with what she wants, it will settle in a day or so.

I like having a room I can go to as I can just whop a tit out and not worry whereas in public I do make an effort to keep covered. As much as I am all for doing it publicly I don't think there is any reason for lack of discretion. But why have it in the same room as the baby changing FFS? Its going to stink of shitty nappies!

Ha ha good point linds - mine aren't that big so one muslin covers it!!

Goodness me Annabelle is now screaming! She has fed for 4.5 hours and now won't stop crying! Think she is needing a poop but struggling to get it out! At least I'm assuming so - surely she can't fit anything else in her! Something has to come out!

Evening all, it has been busy in here today.

Congrats again Topaz, Josh is such a cutie.

Hann - The MIL is a nightmare. Mine has been alright so far, she keeps her distance and because of that I give her baby rights when we see her.

Mel - My tummy has gone down but have the over hang and the skin is loose.

Hann/ Georgie - I have been back at the GP's today and my wound is still infected im now on really strong anti biotics. Hann is was on Flucloxacilin originally 500mg 4 times a day.

Linds - Hope Harry enjoyed Pepper World, shame about all the chavy dirts bags though!! I bloody hate smokers as an ex smoker myself im the worst kind.

Cant remember anything else, memory like a siv.

Not a great day today. Niamh choked really badly yesterday night on her vomit to the point she couldnt breath. It was terrible I heard it lifted her and she projectile vomited over me and herself. I sat on the bed shaking and crying after for ages. Told the HV today and she sent us to the GP who has said she is suffering reflux and has given us baby gaviscon, really hope its helps her its suppose to thicken her feeds.

Other bad news today is that she failed her hearing test in her right ear for the third time. I have not mentioned it before as I kept thinking that it was just fluid or something and next test will be fine. So now she is off to the hospital on Thursday to be hooked up to some kind of brain machine which will measure the hearing receptors. Im really hoping it is something that can be easily rectified.

Anyway better go she is screaming and I can hear the hubby slowly losing the plot.

DM, smokers annoy me. My FIL lit a smoke right near Jonathan. I was so angry. And I'm glad you let your boobies free!

Topaz, Joshua is so adorable!

AFM, My baby has colic and is driving me insane! He will not let me put him down or sleep for more than an hour. I'm exhausted. He is spitting up after every feeding, sometimes out of his nose. I didn't know breastfeed babies spit up this much! my poor baby.

Congrats Topaz and Simmy!

Okay so, Hailey has been eating ALL day! Well actually for the past couple of days she has been feeding all day! I know I said I was going to persevere with the BF, but man it is hard work! I am just worried that I don't have the supply she needs to satisfy her. Yesterday and today, I had to supplement with formula a couple of times - I would nurse her for about an hour - she would nurse, fall asleep for anywhere from 5-60 minutes, wake and want more...once she was "full"she would be alright for about an hour maybe an hour and a half and then she wanted more, and more and more....

Any suggestions, advice, words of wisdom? I just don't know if I can do it? Some one mentioned that it might be because it is her 6 week growth spurt and some one else reminded me that although she doesn't look it, and she was only in the nursery (incubator etc) for a couple of nights she is still a preemie...

Gw, I'm no expert, but I think your supply will keep up with Hailey. The more she stimulates your breasts, the more is produced. I've been doing lots of feedings too. Must be a growth spurt.

Wez, I hope you figure something out for Jonathan's colic. I bet you must be tired. Jillian is breast fed and spits up too. Last night she kept feeding for a long time and didn't bother to break the latch to spit up, so she did it with the breast in her mouth...yuck! We go through lots of outfit changes. Good thing she has lots.

Whoop, had a whole night of Joshua waking at 4 hour intervals and he did the whole night till 7 am in his basket!

Hubby got up with him and i had an extra hour, feels gooood. Joshua thanked his daddy by doing the biggest poo he has ever seen. All up his back, down his legs etc. Hopefully Joshy feels more comfortable now

Yay BB!!! Ajay was similar - Neel let me sleep from 9-3, he and Ajay came to bed at half twelve. Ajay woke for an hour at 3.30 and then slept until 7! I am so pleased and both sleeps in his crib.

I am a lucky wife and mum - my boys looked afte me.

Long day today-Neel left at half seven and wot be home until 11. So am asking my MIL to come over at lunch - I need to try and do a morning on my own to build my confidence a bit.

Claire I hope Niamh's hearing test goes well this time and everything is ok.

Hann your MIL is a nightmare! Does Greg not say anything to her? I don't know why she can't let you just get on with raising your baby your way!

BB glad Josh had a good night - makes all the difference when they have a good night doesn't it!

BV Elliot has also been sick when on the breast too! It's usually after he's had a long sleep and is hungry and starts gulping down the milk!

DM that's so bad about the smoking / BF situation at that park - they clearly have their priorities wrong!

AFM Elliot has had a good few days and am starting to get into a routine which is good! There's no way he's going to sleep onhis back so am going to buy the Angelcare monitor today and he'll be on his belly - I know I'm going to feel bad / guilty but I just can't see any other option

Have any of you had diarrhea since birth? I've literally had explosive, get your bum on the toilet NOW, explosive type diarrhea the whole time since birth and it doesn't seem to be easing?
