Well because they wanted to get me going ASAP I had pitocin drip so kissed goodbye to my water birth started contracting well and it got painful as I'm stuck to the bed anyway I opted for epidural. Am comfortable now at least

Sounds like a sensible choice Georgie, I would have done the same. As much as its nice to think we can do it pain free if it is nasty painful I def wouldn't say no to the epidural!

Off to ballet in an hour. Annabelle was up twice last night, exhausted!! MIL here later but I'll only see her for an hour as I'm meeting my sister and a friend in south bank for dinner. I thought about cancelling after yesterday's results but I never get to go out so I'm really hoping its okay. Going to las iguanas Mmm. FX the MIL doesn't drive me too mad over the next few days, although as Greg says it would at least raise my BP! Lol

Hann, wow your blood pressure is really low, hope you have a good night tonight with your friends and MIL isnt annoying you too much!

AFM, Im also out for dinner tonight with 2 friends, it will be nice because the only time i normally see them is when we have the children with us, just going to Ask locally but nice to get out for a bit.
I did get a nice rest last night but i think im just at that stage in pregnancy where the tiredness is kicking in, like i said though, not long to go now really! Havent done a lot today, didnt get home with H till half one and have just been playing until Alan got it and now they are about to have tea.
I cant believe how cold it is out there, its bitter! Im designated driver tonight obviously so will have to take care on those roads!

Well I'm not out, Annabelle developed a temperature this afternoon and took her to the doctors (all dressed up and ready to go out) and she has a nasty ear infection. So I'm back home about to order a chinese take away and in my joggers. The joys of being a mummy

Afm lovely day with Ajay. My mum came over and I had my hair cut. Then we had an NCT friend and her son over and they stayed for tea too. So a wonderful day. Ended up doing quite a lot of work over the last few days which isn't great but hey ho x

Hope things are going well Georgie!! Makes me want my squish even more!

So please feel free to ignore my posts over the next 2 days as they will be MIL rants and on that note, she's not even been here 24 hours and I'm getting annoyed! So I couldn't go out last night but actually it was fine as Greg was in. Annabelle is obviously distressed because she's sick and Mil wants to comfort her (which is fine) but Annabelle seems visibly upset by her being near her. She keeps trying to get cuddles and Annabelle just cries! Anyway the annoying thing is more to do with food, so last night we got a takeaway even though I had fish out for Greg and his mum, we said we would have the fish for lunch today (just a piece of breaded fish) with salad. So she skips breakfast just having a banana even though we bought her special cereal she likes, then at 10.30 she walks over to the bakery and gets a big tuna roll and a pastry. She comes back at 11.15 and eats the tuna roll and then doesn't want the fish for lunch so says that she's going to have it for her dinner even though I was doing pasta for dinner. So now I have to cook her fish chips and mushy peas and do a pasta meal too! Just annoying as I bought stuff she likes and normally ears but she's still not happy! Sorry for the rant, as I said I'm sure there will be more sorry

oh Hann big BOO to your MIL, Sorry you werent able to go out last night either. I really wonder what goes through her mind? How long do you have her for? Hope Annabelle is feeling a little better today.

Caz, glad you had a nice day yesterday, a haircut always makes me feel so much better could do with one actually.

Simmy, hows work going? And how are things going with Paul?

Georgie, have you gone home yet? Whats it like to be a mum of two? Would love to hear your birth story when you get some time.

AFM, All ok ,just the usual tiredness. Had a nice evening out with my friends but for some reason i really struggled to sleep again, Alan had to get up early for work and i was awake from 4am, H didnt wake till 7 so that was 3 wasted hours i could have slept! grrr!
Saying that, today hasnt been too bad, we went to the weigh in clinic at the surestart centre Harrison is now 27lb 8, has dropped a bit on the percentile but still low to mid 80s
We also did stay and play there, it was nice for him to play with the different toys and i got chatting to a couple of mums i havent met before.
Have also signed up for messy play in 2 weeks time which ive been meaning to do for ages. Looking forward to seeing what thats like.
Looking forward to Alan getting home as he will then be off till Tues so a nice long weekend! yay!

Mel I sympathise on the sleep - if anything wakes me I can never get back to sleep, it's so annoying!! I hope you get a rest this weekend. And yay to Alan being off! Has he settled back in okay?
Oh and I'm sure H is perfect weight wise - I think it's normal to vary a bit now depending on how much they eat and how active etc. he might be due a big growth spurt in the next couple of weeks. He's clearly a very healthy happy chappie though from the photos.

Oh and I just bought a second hand close carrier from a fb sling site for £25, figured Greg will use it as its black - in comparison to the pink one I have! Decided to go for pink because even if its a boy I'm wearing it and I like pink! If everyone assumes the baby is a girl then I really am not that bothered. I also have some pink and some blue nappies so again whichever it is will be wearing all the colours, but then Annabelle is often in blue nappies and I really don't care! I'm not in for all that gender colour stuff too much anyway, although admittedly Annabelle does look gorgeous in pink!
