Beach Bump Graduates!

Lol I'm trying to get to sleep but still giggling at my image of the four of you trying to get into town on a tandem bike! brain NOT working lol

Julie just seen your post, I had no BH with Annabelle, I did have on off contractions for 5 days before I went into full active labour though, think they were her getting into optimal position and dilating me 0-3cm. I don't think it's a bad sign if they have calmed down though - could well be your body resting in preparation for the main event! Good luck!!

Will post more tomorrow!!

Thanks, Hann. I have crazy BH. Didn't think it possible, but they have been even worse this pregnancy and started at 14 weeks.

I'm LOLing at Simmy. I know the culture is different here because we're all sprawled and not super bike friendly in most of this country but a tandem bicycle would have never for a second crossed my mind reading Mel's post. :haha: :winkwink:

Lol Simmy, you made me laugh too, pregancy brain!

Am so tired today, we are having really late nights for some reason here, need to get an early one tonight me thinks.
Heath Visitor has just been, all good, she was very impressed with Harrison who was being a little charmer lol, of only he was like that all the time!
We are getting Lucas registered this afternoon at last yay! We couldnt get him in any earlier due to the "baby boom" cant believe he is two weeks already!
We have also just opened a new bank account, the santander 123 account, we havent had a joint account before, everything always comes out of mine, but it annoys me as i never know what i have spare every month.
Another cold miserable dasy here, whens it gonna warm up!

Hope you have a nice time registering Lucas, I remember having to wait 4 weeks I think last time with Annabelle as it was so busy! And lol about the tandem thing, glad its working out well for you though!

Simmy - hope London isn't too bad and that the nanny turned up (assuming she did)

Caz - hope works not too bad this week

Last day of having Greg around today which is rubbish as I've loved having him here. Now have 5 weeks on my own before my parents come to stay for the birth! I know it will fly by but I'm a bit apprehensive as no idea how I'll cope being really heavily pregnant and doing all the stuff I currently do. Annabelle is pretty demanding and she likes me to play on the floor with her much of the time so its going to be somewhat uncomfortable. The only good thing is that it stops me from sitting slumped on the sofa and the baby getting into a bad position. Plus obviously I want to make the most of the little time I have left with her on our own. I think she very much knows that time is coming to an end which is why shes being extra clingy. She now won't let Greg give her a bottle during the day, she gets into hysterical extremely upset crying. 80% of the time he isn't allowed to read to her and he definitely isn't allowed to have cuddles. It has to be all me all the time. I thought him being off this past 3 weeks might make a difference but its not. Its sad for Greg and very tiring for me. She'll let him play with her though so I guess thats something.

Anyway better go as Greg has made me lunch - I'll miss my food service too!! I eat much nicer things when greg is around to feed me ;)

Simmy - what are you like, you're so funny!

Mel - yay for Harrison being a fab bigger brother.

Julie - I hope you're ok and maybe as Han says, it might just be things getting ready!

Han - wow, poor you guys with Annabelle not wanting to go to Greg. What would happen if you were out and she had to be with him. Would they be ok? That's strange, has it go worse? Enjoy your last night with Greg there.

Urgh, feeling rubbish today. Work is manic and I'm due to be off work on Friday but I think I'm going to have to cancel my day off to work as pay review cuts off really soon. I've also got a horrible cold AGAIN so just generally feeling rubbish. I had over 100 emails today on my day off - how can that happen!?!?!?

Hann, i dont know how you manage! And poor Greg, must make him feel awful!

Caz, boo to your cold, you really need to do something about your work too, I know you do an important job but sounds like piss taking to me... Home life is more important

Im sooooo tired early night tonight!

Oh Caz I hope you are okay, I remember days like that in my old job - the billion emails while you're off, it's terrible. I hope you feel better in the morning at least. :(

Yes not ideal about Annabelles reactions to Greg, although if you can believe it she's better with him than others! If I go out and she has no alternative she is okay with him/others but then she's even more clingy when I get back and for days after as she just assumes I'm going to leave her again I think. It really is quite crazy. I really hoped she would get better this week but nope! I have no idea how she is going to be when the baby comes, she's so sweet with kissing my tummy and saying hi to the baby which is lovely but she's very possessive over me and while its lovely to be loved its also very tiring

Ohh Caz sorry you're feeling rubbish - boo to work still being so busy too! :hugs:

Hann that must be really hard that annabelle doesn't let Greg do much. She does spend a lot of time with her mummy so can see why she's attached, but that doesn't make it easier. Hope u enjoyed greg's last day, it's always nice when someone makes you nice food.

Mel have fun registering Lucas tomorrow - hope you manage ok on the bike! Lol. How did L sleep last night? Oh and my parents have the 123 account and keep banging on about how amazing it is - seems a good choice!

Julie, how did the painting go today?

AFM had a good day in the end, it was exhausting and I felt really sick on the way there and throughout the afternoon. BUT, it was really nice to be in the office after so long (since October!!) and talk to people face to face. An good to attend the interviews.

My parents got back tonight and came straight here to help with Leo's bath, and Paul's back tomorrow so I've got through the difficult day! Just need Leo to sleep tonight now. He was up coughing and crying a lot last night, hence my exhaustion!

4 hours broken sleep all night, not good :( typical it happened the day Greg goes back to work. Onwards with the day though, have football to get to this morning

oh boo Hann, hope football went well though!

I am feeling pretty grot, had a horrid headache for 2 days not and hardly slept, also was really hot and cold in bed last night and got up this morning drenched in sweat, not good!

My friend popped over this morning for a cuppa and brought us cupcakes which was lovely of her, just chilling out for a bit now before doctors appointment later on
Hope everyone is ok!

Oh dear how was football Hann? Hope you got through it. Did u manage a nap today?

Mel hope you felt better as the day progressed. That's nice of your friend to bring cupcakes - mmmmm!

Had a midwife appt today, mostly ok although I had glucose in my urine and my BP was low (96/50) - does anyone know if that's very low, I haven't a clue

It's low but not ridiculous - mine at your stage was 70/40, mine was 92/58 on Monday just gone so its gone up - it's generally goes up in the 3rd tri as the baby is bigger so your heart has to work harder which is why people get really high BP.

Thanks Hann, I knew you'd know. Midwife didn't seem overly concerned. It puts into context how low yours was! X

:hi: everyone!! Still reading rarely posting any more glad everyone is well! Congrats on Lucas Mel :)

My BP stayed raised for months after the PE with Niamh I had to stay in the labetalol for 12 weeks. It does get boring, you have my sympathy!

Mine was low but my BP is always low (90/60 is pretty normal for me) so yes 70/40 was very low even for me and I was feeling bad but yours could make you feel just as bad if yours is normally the average of 120/80. If you feel bad then I'd recommend regular eating - like almost hourly, they say salty food but just steer clear of things high in sugar that will make your blood sugar jump as you'll get really high then really low which makes you feel worse. Where possible keep your legs raised above your hips but don't lie flat as that can make it worse. If you keep it down its better in the long run for you and for the baby. You will probably find it naturally creeping up over the next 12 weeks though, although as its do low now it's probably never going to be classed as high so all good!

Mel - sorry yours is still raised, hopefully as Claire said it will drop back soon

Hi Claire - hope you are okay and N good!

Having a hopefully early night tonight. Not looking forward to tomorrow - nothing to do and the weather looks like its going to be rubbish again! No idea how to keep Annabelle entertained as no one is around and all the classes etc are off :(

We are well thanks. Niamh seems to have grown up lots suddenly. Miss my little baby but am loving watching the funny confident little girl she has become :)

The weather is utterly depressing isn't it. I'm not normally one to moan about it but this is getting ridiculous. I have some time of work next week as my friend is coming over from Australia and we have all these days planned at farms and parks, which won't be happening in this joke of a spring :(

I know what you mean about them growing up! Annabelle is now speaking in sentences! It's so weird hearing her talk!

I'm totally fed up of the weather too! It is just so horrible and means that i end up doing nothing all day if we don't have stuff on as its too cold. I can't even let Annabelle out in the garden. I think it's meant to be marginally better next week - 7-9 degrees so nothing amazing but hopefully you'll be able to do some of the nice things you want to. I have no idea what we are going to do even tomorrow let alone how to entertain her next week :(
