Beach Bump Graduates!

Hi girls,

Clare - so lovely to hear from you! How are things?! I hope you and N are good.

Han - fingers crossed tonight is a better nights aleep for you all. Is Greg around this weekend?

Mel - how are you feeling?

Simmy - bet its lovely to have Paul home :)

Well some good news here - our planning permission was accepted! Yay! And the builder says he might be able to start next week as he has a slot - scary but exciting, I just want it done so the sooner we start the sooner it's done! x

Caz that's great news about the planning permission! Wow next week is so soon, you must be excited about the work finally being done :)

Hann thanks for the advice about low bp, funnily enough I have been wanting to add salt to my food lately which I don't normally. Really hope you get a better night's sleep tonight x

Mel, hope the bp comes down soon, how annoying to still have it but at least Lucas is no longer endangered.

Claire nice to hear from you, I hear you on the weather, Leo's had a persistent cough for about a month now poor guy, and I just think he needs some nice warm air to clear his chest. Glad to hear Niamh is doing well, ikwym - where did our babies go? They are proper little people now with their speech and their opinions!

Julie, having not heard from you I can only assume.....???? Well if not then I hope you are managing to relax in between house stuff. And if so, then wishing you all the best!

Night night all x

Ps Hann can you maybe take her to softplay tomorrow? Or a big pet shop? Or just trundle around a shopping centre with her - some of them have children's play areas?

Hi ladies, sorry been MIA!! Lol.

I've read and caught up but can't remember much!

Julie, hope your in labour!! Lol

Hi Claire, hope you guys are well xx

Much love to everyone else too xx

AFM, josh up at 4.50 today....wtf?! Tilly doing well at night. Goes down about7/8 til 2ish then up 6ish when I'm up with josh anyway. I don't count my chickens though as she throws in a change of routine fairly often lol.
Had our 6 week checks yesterday, all is well. Nurse was harassing me about contraception, not really something I'm worrying about at the mo! Lol.
Quiet day in today, been a busy week!

So glad that M is doing well! You and mel sound like you have it good with the sleeping babies!

Well I woke up to a breech baby this morning, how annoying as on Monday it was 3/5 engaged! Now the head is in my ribs :(
It clearly still has room to move so just hoping it does again.

Thanks for the ideas for today Simmy, I am feeling so lazy that so far we have done nothing except eat, read books and watch tv. Oh dear! Just been on zulily and ordered a load of clothes for annabelle for the summer, i bought some a few weeks ago that ended up being massive, so now I've had to buy 18 months stuff which quite frankly will probably be too big too. Did a weigh in and height this morning and shes back to exactly 21 pounds and about 81cm high, which is less than the 12 month clothes on zulily. I still went with 18 months though as prefer them to be bigger and get more wear out of them. I guess at least I have next years summer clothes sorted lol - how organised am i?!

Hope everyone has a nice day - nearly the weekend yay!! :)

Annabelle must be a similar size to Niamh. She weighs just over 22lbs with a nappy and jammies on and is roughly 82cm. She is still wearing mainly 9-12 clothes and some 12-18 but 18-24 are huge on her. It's so disappointing as she has some lovely bits and at her rate of growth I will be surprised if she fits them this summer.

Annoying about baby turning breach. Fx he/she turns there is still pleanty of time left. I'm very jealous of all these bumps and babies! Can't wait to experience it all again one day :)

They are similar - Annabelle is 21 with clothes on, but N is a few weeks older. It's good as you get lots of use out of clothes but bad as I got carried away and bought age 2-3 for the summer and they are literally massive, I don't know what I was thinking!! I just want to buy clothes that will have a longer life but then these have at least a year/year and a half in them! Ah well they will get worn eventually!
Hopefully you'll be next with baby news x

Hi! Sorry for my absence! My laptop is still waiting to be fixed but I've got an iPad now too so can finally get back online.

Did you find a doll for the bath Hann? Holly's is quite good but it comes with food and leaves this horrible orange stuff in its nappy- gross!

Julie how are you getting on??? I hope things are happening for you!

Glad Matilda's six week check went well Georgie!
4.50?? Ouch!

Great news about the house Caz!

How are you feeling Mel? Is there much that can be done for your blood pressure?

How are you getting on Simmy? Did you give in to your salt craving?

Not a great deal going on here really- our dryer is being fixed by my Dad, my laptop is also being looked at and we obviously got the car tax sorted! Thankfully everything else has gone smoothly since then! Martyn's working a lot this week and Holly's off school so I've been busy trying to entertain the girls!

LOL, don't get your hopes up. :haha: Still pregnant. Not in labor.

Will catch up properly later!

Oh sorry! I feel bad now lol! It sucks when you're so close to the end and everyone thinks its time when it isn't! I hope the house stuff is going ok! X

Can't be long now though Julie - will try and stop asking you and just keep an eye out on Facebook for any news. Exciting!

Thank goodness it's nearly bedtime for Annabelle, long day!! Funny part though, she got a paper cut and it was bleeding everywhere so I got a plaster and put it on her, once I did that she wouldn't stop screaming! I put one on me to show her it was okay but she just kept crying over having a plaster, I shouldn't laugh but it was quite comical! In the end I took the plaster off and it had stopped bleeding but then she started saying it hurt and wouldn't eat her dinner (only pasta) but she normally picks it up with her fingers so I got her a fork but only had adult ones but she fed herself with it clapping herself after each mouthful. She uses a spoon but we just haven't progressed to a fork but clearly she's ready!
Can't wait for the end of in the night garden now - I've read the same books about 30 times each today over and over and she insists on me reading them during her program's even though she's not listening. Probably because its the end of the day and I'm tired but its annoying today. And she insists on sitting or standing on my bump too. This baby is going to come out seriously misshapen!

If she's anything like J, she will sit on her sibling once he/she is here too! Bedtime did not come quick enough tonight, still got M screaming though for now!

Hehe that made me giggle about the misshapen baby! Bedtime is finally here! It's been a long day here too. Holly has swimming and a party to go to tomorrow so I'm hoping she gets some rest.
Hopefully we will all get some well needed rest tonight!

LOL about Annabelle sitting on Hann's bump and J sitting on M. Maisie wants to crawl all over my bump, too. And I have no doubt that Vi is in trouble when she arrives. Maisie will be all over her.

Hann -- Sorry about breech baby! It was hard for me to tell for a while there since I'm a lot more fluffy (ha) than you. I freaked out a couple of weeks ago because I was feeling hiccups up high when I usually feel them all the way down but Vi was still head down, according to my OB. Your LO (at first I wrote "she" so that must mean you're having a boy since I'm always wrong, as Mel recently reiterated :haha:) has plenty of time to turn again but it must be so annoying for you! And as you know, Maisie is a little bit, too. I had bought 24 month stuff for this (last) winter. LOL! Yeah, she'll be wearing that stuff next winter. :dohh: And I had 24 month and 2t stuff for summer. Some of the 24 month stuff is going to work because she needs it for length (like pants -- but can only keep them up if I use cloth diapers!), but the 2t stuff is going to be next summer, I guess. I've been buying 18 and 24 month stuff for her for summer. (I just re-read this -- how many times did I say "stuff?" Ha!) She still wears a couple of 9 month and 12 month shirts. The only reason she can't still wear all of her 12 month shirts is that I can't get them over her enormous head. :haha: I think she's a little taller than Niamh and Annabelle, hence the 24 month pants for length. We're going for an extra weight check for her once Vi is born (per pediatrician's request) and I'll be thrilled if she's over 22 pounds.

Maria -- haha, no worries! Doesn't bother me, really. At least not yet. This time next week may be another story. :hissy: :haha:

Just got into bed a remembered I broke the tv remote this morning!! :( that's my night time ritual out the window and for the night feeds argh and the morning! Must get one of those all in one remote jobs tomorrow!

I had J weighed about 3 weeks ago and he was 25lb 8ozs. He's 82cm tall by my rough measurements but he's all legs, he can wear 18-24 for the length, he just has very little waist to hold them up!

Gosh I haven't had Naomi weighed in sooooo long! I must get her weighed as I'm curious to see what she is. I don't think she's particularly tall but everyone says she is, she's a very sturdy little girl though! Holly was always so dainty- they're quite different!

Hi girls,

I've not had Ajay weighted in probably six months! The clinic is Tuesdays and I'm working so never go. Must weight him at home maybe....

Julie - hugs :) can't wait for your news.

Han - bless Annabelle she is so cute! Ajay sometimes claps as he eats too, it's sweet but a bit tiresome!

Georgie - oh no broken tv remote, doh!

Busy busy busy here - work was ok then since we got home its been mega house prep as the builder is coming tomorrow to finalize the contract etc to start hopefully Tuesday. Neel is getting stressed but we made great progress tonight.

I forgot to say that Ajay now tells Neel that he loves him. It's really cute but I'm jealous - I hate to admit it but I am - he has never said it to me. I know he will in time but I just hope and pray he doesn't say it to neels mum or dad first as that would devastate me :( Ajay adores Neel and I sometimes wonder why he is so attached as I am more hands on but I guess these things happen x

I just weigh Annabelle at home so it's no effort!

Julie - Maisie sounds dinky too, at least we get a lot of use out of our clothes and I'm glad you also made the same mistake as me with buying stuff too big lol!

Caz - it's so cute that Ajay says he loves Neel! I get Annabelle to say she loves Greg, I get her to say 'love you daddy' I've now done it so much that if I ask her to say 'love you mummy' she replies 'love you daddy' so no love for me lol! I'd be the same though if she told anyone else they love them before me, especially mil lol obviously! Hopefully neither of us will have to experience it though!

Well I managed to get the baby to turn yesterday and this morning I felt it turn back to breech! Head in ribs again! It's clearly got lots of room still so I'm not going to worry about it yet.
And Julie I actually think its a boy so will be very surprised if you are right and its a girl ;)

I think weighing at home is a fab idea, I wish I'd done that! We're the scales expensive? At least you know it's the same scales every time and no hassle of taking them every week!

That's sweet about Ajay Caz! I think I'd be jealous too! It's always the way though- the mummies put in all the time and the daddies reap the rewards!

I hope your baby turns back for you Hann! I think girl too but am usually wrong!

Holly's off to a party with her friends in a minute ( she has a much better social life than me lol!) so I'm going to take Naomi out for a bit, it's such a lovely day it seems a shame to stay in. Martyn's working all weekend so it's just the two of us!
