Beach Bump Graduates!

Lovely bump pic hann you look gorgeous! So very neat :) I will post one of mine when i'm not feeling quite so sniffly.

Maria enjoy your dinner out tomorrow, poor M having to stay at home but at least he gets cake!

Caz sounds like you and ajay are having a lovely chilled day!

Still feeling rough here, this stupid thing seems to take ages to shake off! Really hope i'm better by Friday as i'm supposed to be going to visit my friend's 6 week old twins, but if i'm still really sniffly by then i will have to cancel as it's not fair on the newborns.

Leo's lip is even bigger this morning, poor thing, although it doesn't seem to be bothering him that much weirdly.

Just saw your post SB, great news on the early U/S, that will put your mind at rest. Yes it is heartbreaking when they hurt themselves badly isn't it, you just want to take the pain away from them and have it yourself!

SB it is great about the U/S, hopefully will put your mind at rest. Have you got new names ready for this one or is it a bit early? Its absolutely the thing to do to be positive about this one, there is no reason to think that anything should go wrong this time so enjoy it :)

Thank you both for your bump comments, I feel huge but then I guess we all feel that way towards the end. I know its no indicator of actual baby size, could be harboring a teeny one again or a giant, who knows!!

Simmy - really hope you start to feel better soon, must be annoying now. If its any help I've just started using breath right nasal strips at night as my capilaries are swollen in my nose and I was breathing through my mouth every night and waking up with extreme dry mouth. They are literally amazing and would probably be great for a cold.

Just purchased 2 nursing bras, wanted to get a couple of pretty sets as last time I wore horrible borng mothercare ones and felt totally unattractive the entire time. At least I will hopefully now have some that are nice to look at too, makes a difference I think. I just hope they fit as had to guess at the sizing so may end up having to swap them!

Annabelles just had a 3 hour 15 min sleep, amazing and hasn't happened in ages. I love days like this lol!

Lol, yep Hann - we already have names! Our boy name is the same as it was the last two times, so that was a no brainer (though I did try to sneak Vincent in there, which is my favorite boy name. But since I totally picked the girl name myself, DH won on the boy name!) So for a boy it's still William Lee, who will be nn Will and Buddy.

For a girl, I had two names depending when we got pregnant. For a summer baby, we were going with Charlotte Ariel and for a winter baby it was Cecelia (CeCe) Snow. Since we're due just before Christmas, we're going with the latter this time and Charlotte next time. (Obviously, I'm a fan of K/C names! lol)

Definitely can't wait for the ultrasound, even though at 5w,6d it may be too early to see a heartbeat. I never had an ultrasound that early, so I'm not sure. I'm hoping the doctor will give me a follow up ultrasound so I don't have to be worried based on last time. I keep chanting to myself that one miscarriage does not raise the risk of another one at all, especially when it was a chromosomal one. I'm feeling confident right now, but who knows once hormones start to kick in! I've never been so eager for morning sickness to start!

Hann -- Such a cute bump!!

Simmy -- So sorry about Leo falling. :nope: So hard when there is nothing you can do about it but yet it still feels like your fault (Maisie has flopped off the bed a few times when I was right there -- in the last few months, but no way I could have known she was about to spaz out :dohh:).

SB -- Exciting about your ultrasound!

Caz -- Woohoo for a day off! I'm still enjoying mine and I'm 2.5 weeks in. I'd be sooooo irritated with this lazy belly child if I was going back to work. :haha:

Hoping to be a Georgie repeat here and have something happen the day before my due date (right? Isn't that when things started for Georgie?). All I can say is there can't possible by any more plug up there. I thought I lost it all at 38 weeks with Maisie but I was very, very mistaken. I can not believe the amount that has come out. I lost about 1/4 of that last time and thought it was a lot! How could there be that much in there?! There has to be at least a little room for the baby! :haha:

I got really crampy last night and thought something may be about to start but of course not. Nothing really going on today (it's a little after noon here). Lots of poop happening so I have hope for that. I'll cling to whatever I can cling to at this point. :haha:

Han your photo is so glam ad your bump is lovely. Not long Togo now! x

Hann, your bump is so lovely and neat! Mine just spread all over, (still has actually)

Caz, hope you had a lovely day.

Simmy, Poor Leos lip and poor you for your sore throat! H had a lovely black eye a couple of months back where he fell off the bottom step of the stairs, it was awful and we felt so guilty but what can you do. Hope your throat improves quickly!

SB, congrats on your pregnancy and great that they are giving you a early u/s. love the names too

Maria, yay for eating out! I love eating out, shame M cant be with you, thats the reality of children though isnt it.

Littlespy, Hurry up baby! Im getting impatient for you now! Great that you have lost your plug though, cant be long now surely!

AFM, All good here, Mum was over for a few hours today it allowed me to go and get my hair cut and me and Alan dashed to cinema to watch Oz, Im a real oz fan anyway and loved it!
H is full of the terrible twos at the mo, 90% of the time hes wonderful, but the other 10% hes a complete monkey! Really hope its just a phase and he gets over it soon!c
Ive got a pulled muscle or trapped nerve in my bum cheek. It sounds funny but its so blooming painful i cant walk properly and it seems to be getting worse not better, Any advice for cure?
Im back at docs tomorrow for BP but cant see them doing anything for it.
All my photos came, now i face a mass of sorting them out over next few days/weeks.
Not heard anymore from my stepmother, didnt really expect to i guess.
Am back on the diet wagon on MFP! Its gonna be harder this time round!
Oh and my R and R carrier came today, i think i love it! x

Thanks girls :)

Caz - hope you had a lovely Ajay day!

Mel - have fun with your mum and happy 3 weeks to Lucas.

Off to bed now as got football in the morning which is hard work at the best of times without me feeling like I've got a permanent red hot poker sticking in my back and running through my bum and leg! I've now got an almost constant numb foot which feels very of ms and not nice. Well the whole things not nice! Spoke to my mum as was trying to get her to come a week after next to help when she's back from holiday but she has too many errands and appointments to come and then she doesn't want to come the week after as she feels its too close to when they will come anyway to stay so I really do have exactly 4 weeks alone minus the bank holiday Monday. I think grinning and bearing is the only option!! I keep reminding myself to be thankful it's happened at 35 weeks and not 25....

Julie - I'm sending serious labour thoughts your way. I feel like it is going to happen very soon - or maybe already is!! Really excited for you!

SB - I had a scan at exactly 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat - apparently it's possible from about 5.5 weeks but its nothing to worry about if its not there as could be too early. I love the name choices too :)

Annabelles foot ball class is going to be the death of me! She quite often doesn't follow instruction so I spent the class running (yes running) around after her trying to get her to do stuff, and she also won't sit on the mat with the others without me sat with her so I'm constantly up and down. I actually thought I was stuck on the floor a couple of times today as my back and nerve went into spasm and I couldn't move. Not good! I have 3 more weeks of classes to take her to on my own before my parents come on my due date. I might have to miss one of them though as I can't cope with the pain. I feel bad missing paid for classes though but not a lot of options as no one else to take her and I'm in so much pain and its only going to get worse :(

Ouch hann that sounds painful! Poor you. Especially the sitting down and getting stuck part. It's not the end of the world if you have to miss a couple of classes - better that than you doing yourself some damage... Wow can't believe you are 36 weeks! Sooooo not long to go now... But yes i realise it's daunting on your own. Really wish you had some help :hugs:

Mel well done for getting back on the MFP wagon! I'm sure you'll do amazingly well as you are very determined with these things. Good job on getting a haircut and going to the cinema too - must be great to be getting back to 'normal' again!

SB lovely name choices, I like that cecelia is a bit unusual.

Julie - happy 40 weeks! Well you were totally right about the baby not coming earlier than your due date! Sending major labour dust your way...

AFM feeling a bit better today - slept so badly but went back to bed when the nanny got here at 8.30 and slept til 11.30 so I feel a lot better now! We have just given our nanny notice - she'll work for us til the end of her contract in June. Feels a bit sad as Leo loves her, but there's no way we can afford her when i'm on mat leave, plus we're not sure whether we'll need her when I go back to work either - depends if they let me work part time which i have no idea about yet.

I am still planning on sending Leo to nursery 2 days a week though - i think it's good for him, plus gets him out of the house so i can spend time with baby.

Hann -- I'm sorry about the pain. :nope: Do you think one of the other parents in the class could help you out with Annabelle? Awkward to ask but I know I'd be willing (well, not right at this very moment, sorry - LOL!) to help someone out in your situation if our kids were in the same class.

Sucks being right, Simmy. :haha: I think it's a good idea you have about sending Leo to nursery. I'm thinking I'll start Maisie to preschool for half days. I think the montessori school where we're moving starts that at 3. Just hope we can afford it then. There's only one montessori school in the town and it's really, really expensive (way more than the ones here :nope:).

I had a 3 hour long false alarm from 3am-6am this morning. I suspected it wasn't really happening but there's always that little glimmer of hope. :haha: Maybe I'm dilated to a 6 or so now at least, or fully effaced or something. :haha:

Julie its so rubbish being in slow early labour, I was like that for 4/5 days with Annabelle, kept thinking it was all going to happen but then it just stopped. I know its the bodys way of getting things going and it will be doing something, its just annoying as you hear all these stories of second timers being early and it all being fast. I'm sure I'll be in your position in 4/5 weeks time. You are doing very well though considering how frustrated you must be! And congratulations on making it to your due date! :) Still time for it to happen today.

Simmy - thats a shame about the nanny but its the right way to go. From Sept Annabelle is doing Mon, Tues and Thurs mornings at montessori. I might also add an afternoon in too but will see. It will be nice to have some baby time, although I am thinking of joining the gym and if I do I'll be brave and leave the baby in the creche when I am able to (think from 6 months+).
Glad you got a nice sleep and feeling a bit better too.

I wish the parents at football would help but most of them are pretty stuck up. Its the only class I go to where I dislike the majority of the parents. They all seem to be snobby etc. I actually overheard a group of them talking about how Annabelle shouldn't be in the class because she is obviously too small. It was when she had just turned 20 months, they can go from 18 months so shes plenty big enough, its just she looks like shes a bit younger. Anyway rude people so I can't see them helping. I think I'll just have to miss 1-2 sessions but will try again next week.
Had a friend over this afternoon which was nice, although her daughter did a very messy and smelly poo and my lounge stinks now lol!
Just having a quiet night once annabelle has gone to bed as Gregs out. Early night too probably as I feel much better lying down.

Sorry just had a quick skim read, busy week! Julie, you right it was me. Matilda came bang on due date :) hope Vi hurries up for you! X

Julie she will be here soon. Sorry for the false alarm though, Vi is teasing you!

Han you poor thing. If I was there as anther mum I'd probably offer to help as you are 36 weekS now! Nearly there! Can't Greg take time off work or is he waiting until the baby is born?

Simmy glad you got an extra nap. I've always said to Neel that if we're lucky enough to hae another baby Ajay would still go to nursery. I agree it's good for them and he might be upset to stop going.

Sorry I'm being rubbish at posting recently. Off work today and we've been to two kitchen shops, chosen the kitchen although not ordered as yet, bought a range cooker and hood and nearly finalised the fridge and microwave. It's all going so fast! Back to work tomorrow and soooo behind but in trying to keep up x

Oh and bless my in laws.... Things have been much better recently hence my lack of moaning! But we ask them please don't come around after 630 as Ajay is winding down for bed. Fil turns up at 645 and Ajay saw him so he came in. Mil then turns up at seven and Ajay is so confused and they are fussing over him .... Grrrr. Also mil is popping to see the builders every day and telling them what to do with our plants in the garden..... And breathe!!!

That would annoy me Caz - Neel should have a word! Do they have him this afternoon too? Your extension sounds like its going well! So exciting!

Had a hard morning with Annabelle being really full on and a tad difficult - wanting food but nothing I suggest, wanting TV but 2 minutes into a program wanting something else. Was close to going mad at one point. She's now been asleep 2 hours 30 so I can't complain from that side of things. I tried to sleep too but had 2 deliveries 30 minutes apart so gave up. One of the deliveries was from gap and they sent me a top with 3 stains on it! Very annoying. The other stuff is okay though - bought my pre pregnancy size too!
Back is still ridiculous unsurprisingly, physio in 2 hours. They will hopefully strap it back up anyway which will be good. I also spoke to my mum and she is finally feeling a bit sorry for me so is coming for a couple of days in 2 weeks time so now I just have to get through 2 weeks and I get help. Feels more manageable than 4 weeks.

Julie - hope you are okay, thinking of you!

Having the biggest craving for chocolate fudge cake. Have text Greg to see if he can find some for me and bring it back from work. Going to be hugely disappointed if he can't!!

Caz -- I don't think I could take the in-laws doing that! You're a saint! Hope my mom behaves when we're much closer to her (still about 25 minutes away, so hopefully no "I was just in the neighborhood" kind of stuff.

Hann -- Sorry Annabelle has been a handful. She and Maisie must be connected. I swear if Maisie had been born 200 years ago she'd have been through multiple exorcisms by now. :haha: Just the same -- wants food, but won't eat anything I give her. Wants TV but keeps changing her mind. :dohh: She's thrown 4 demonically possessed type tantrums so far and she's only been awake for 3 hours. :haha:

Wow. I'm still freaking pregnant. :dohh:
I feel bad complaining. Yesterday, a friend from high school had her baby at 21 weeks, so of course he passed away. Makes me very thankful my body cooperates to carry a baby to full-term. I feel really insensitive now about the comments I made on facebook yesterday (but how could I have known?). :nope: But I still wish my body would figure out the proper time to expel the little munchkin. I ate so many jalapenos and hot sauce last night. My whole face was on fire. :haha: It did mess up my stomach, but did nothing for my uterus, which proves to me I have no business trying anything like castor oil.

Simmy - thanks! All of our baby names that we love (Katherine, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Cecelia, Charlotte, William, Vincent, etc) all seem to come from the same classic era. When I looked up the name Cecelia, there was a list of great sister names. Together at the top were Katherine and Elizabeth - how perfect!

Hann - I don't know how you run after Annabelle - sounds like foot ball class is rough! Hope you can take it easy and ease the pain. Also, chocolate fudge cake sounds AMAZING.

Julie - I'm sure when Vi does decide to come, it'll be a good and short labor. Already dilating so much, a lot of the work will already be done! I understand your rush to get her out here, third trimester is rough. You shouldn't feel guilty!

AFM, I just turned 5 weeks tomorrow. It's a bit odd being so early in first trimester when I should be in third trimester with Elizabeth, but I'm choosing to remain positive. I'm celebrating each week, no matter how slowly they go by or what may be revealed at the ultrasound next week. I'm still terrified every time I go to the bathroom and thank God when I don't see anything scary happening. I can't wait to get out of first tri!

For now, I'm enjoying getting my pregnancy taste buds back, which I LOVE. I just made myself steak and eggs, yum!!

Oh Julie damn to being overdue! It's got to happen soon! I'll be much more overdue than you if that's any consolation :)

SB - love your names! So glad that you are able to enjoy eating, long may it continue!! I know early pregnancy is scary even more so for you now but hopefully all will be good this time. Not long until the scan at least.

Had physio this afternoon, it was good! Apparently my back and bum muscles are seriously tight so she released them and my goodness it was sore but it also felt good to have it done - if you know what I mean?! Weird pain that's satisfying! And Annabelle was fine with my friend. The pains not going to get better apparently but she's shown me how to relieve the muscles and how best to engage other muscles to help me move. Seeing her until the birth so that's good!
Oh and the cake was delicious! :)

Hiya girls quick check in from me, knackered and off to bed now (so early for me!). I've got restless leg syndrome and it's driving me nuts! oh hello third tri... x
