OMG, where is the time going?? I can't believe most of our babies are entering the 2 month mark... I remember sitting at the MIL's on bedrest for 5 weeks there, and it felt like an entire lifetime! Now... he isn't such a little baby anymore. I wish I hadn't wanted to rush the whole pregnancy experience, you know...
Cradle cap... Don't really have to deal with it, so I have no tips. Sorry. My SILs baby had it so terribly; it literally covered half her face as well, and was thick and yellow. I think she tried everything, and it was just time that cleared it up.
Thanks for the well wishes. The back is starting to feel a little bit better, but if I do too much than it hurts like hell again. Feels like it is being compressed, but it isn't leaking fluid, so I guess that's a good sign. GW, I did have my 6 week post partem check up, but it was later than 6 weeks. After we got out of NICU and I realized our family Dr was more interested in how cute and little and fair Colby was, and didn't really give a shit about me, I decided to call and book an appt with the OBGYN, because she had said I could. Her secretary didn't know this, told me the pregnant was over, therefore, I didn't need to be a patient there anymore. So I couldn't get an appt. When my OBGYN came back from holiday and found out the secretary had said this, she told her that she was to book me appts when I called. By then I'd lost 2 weeks time and I had to wait to get in. I got in and told her I was doing bad. She wanted to do surgery, but because of my heart she decided to try a course of antibiotics first. That didn't work, so I called her back. So that's why everything took so long. Yes, the GP wasn't concerned, but it was also because the receptionist wouldn't book me that appt.
Hann, I don't think you have anything to worry about. If the thermometer is showing no temp, then she should be fine. Babies seem to be little radiators anyways. I'm one of those permanently cold people, so everyone feels hot to me. Maybe its the same for you?? I'm constantly thinking he has a temp when he doesn't. If she gets really lethargic, you could go to the ER or A&E. That's what they're there for, and they always say better safe than sorry.
I don't want to jinx ourselves, but I am wondering if we are turning a corner with his sleeping... Just wondering, but won't say any more just yet. All I can say is he'd better not be doing good on the weekends just to save it all up for me during the week! He did one 6 hour stretch between feeds, and I slept for the whole thing!!
