AF got me at 10dpo! On to femara cycle #2. Good news is I did ovulate, had a normal 28 day cycle, and I didn’t have all the crazy at symptoms with days of spotting that I normally have. Bad news is that I had a pretty short luteal phase. Why can I do to lengthen it?

I’m sorry AF showed early. I take progesterone to help lengthen my LP and feed the eggie. I use to ovulate on cd16 then after or on 11dpo - AF. Bding really close to O was key to getting pregnant for me because my body was so quick to move on to a new cycle. Talk with your doc about it. Mine was so against progesterone saying it was pointless and didn’t get you pregnant but she would do it if it made me happy. No words. Progesterone won’t get you pregnant but it has helped lengthen my LP and nourish my bean until my placenta took over.( I do compounded progessterone)

@Jules8 I second the progesterone suggestion. My fertility specialist puts me on it for every medicated timed cycle and every IUI cycle. I'm 4dpo and just started it last night. I usually start it on 2dpo, but I could tell I already had an extraordinary amount of progesterone because I was super constipated for a couple days. It always lengthens my luteal phase.

Boobs just started getting sore this afternoon. This is usual for me for about a week before my period starts. So, not sure if this is a good or bad sign. What are your experiences with this ladies?

That happened to me last cycle and ended in AF, but you just never know with that symptom! With my first my boobs were also sore and achy around that time

@ChibiLena my boobs normally hurt a fews before AF to point they feel painful and heavy walking down stairs and mainly at the sides. I never remember them hurting at all when I got my BFP or even after my BFP.
my AF is due 18th and they still aren’t sore myself. I do get craps days before tho and that’s what I currently have. I am expecting AF on time

Yea I had a SCH, I was only like 14DPO or so when I passed my huge clot. and I mean HUGE, I thought I was miscarrying and turned out just to be a SCH and it healed in it’s own!

I did progesterone suppositories for my first and second, but not til after I had a positive pregnancy test. For my first I was at a fertility clinic and they put me on it because they said it was a tad low. The second time I was doing medicated cycles with my obgyn and they did it only because I took it the first time. I conceived naturally with my son and didn’t need them at all. I’ll have to bring it up and see what they say.

So I’ve been spotting for 7 straight days now - the entire week before my period - now my period will be starting any day. How long can I bleed before I should become worried? Because this is SUPER unusual for me. AF is NEVER this early or light. I’m kinda concerned honestly. Like at what point do I go to a OBGYN and be like “what the heck”?

And you were pregnant at this time? When did you get your bfp? I’m about 13dpo now and still negative tests and stupid frer indents.
My period (if I go by a 28 day cycle) should be starting in full flow Wednesday. It is usually like a 26 day cycle because I start spotting two days before full flow, not 9 like I did this time.

Orite I would so need progesterone to lengthen my LP but here in the Uk they won’t prescribe it unless u have had multiple miscarriages. wish they did. So sad

It’s my birthday today, spending the day ill, doing parenting evening at school and then after school activities so no resting. At least it’s distracting. I wanted to try naturally until the end of this year before looking into ivf sometime next year

I got my first BFP at 9DPO and it gradually got darker as the days went on, some people don’t get pos until 14DPO so you never know!

I’m so incredibly bloated and uncomfortable rn. It’s uncomfortable to lay down on my side. There is a weird pressure when I pee. I wanna be pregnant so bad. My boobs are swollen, my nipples are swollen, I’m exhausted, I’m emotional. Just let me be pregnant dang it!
