im finding today hard.. my eldest didnt sleep. i went to bed but i was woken by sore back and heartburn alot. im like a walking zombie. bump hurts from spring cleaning yesterday, i wanted to do the same amount today but i dont know if i can handle it.

you ladies look lovely!

27 weeks today, feel like every time i hit a new week its a more of a safety net if baby was suddenly to try and come now. i always feel more relaxed once i hit 30 weeks

Yes I know what you mean, not sure what it is about getting to 30 weeks but it feels like a bit of a milestone somehow.
Hope you manage to rest up some today, don't push yourself with the cleaning x

Yes feeling more relieved since I hit 30 weeks but getting so nervous for my doctors appt today and growth scan Wednesday. If my red blood cell count still hasn't gone up the she's making me get iron infusions today. I'm getting anxious to see how big he is

hi ladies, i had drs appt today, blood pressure was high but it eventually went down. i got growth scan and bp repeat next wednesday, i got a headache that wont go away right now. but ive had so many appts its been busy.
dr said my diabetes came back negative , but Vit D and Iron are both very low. also bump only measured 25 weeks and im 27 weeks. she said its not a great indication of size but the growth scan will give us more indication of size. so fingers crossed hes growing ok

Hi everyone

I'm sure someone here mentioned having lupus one day? I was at the midwife today and it wasn't my usual one, that's 2 visits now as she is off sick. Anyway this lady today tested me for lupus as apparently on my records somewhere it says I had a very mild positive at some point.....when? No idea. No one has ever mentioned it before and I've never had investigations into my early losses. We had 3 in a row but gave up ttc at that point.
So this all feels a bit late as should have been checked in early pregnancy but apparently pregnancy can trigger it...now I'm a bit concerned.

Try not to stress too much. I've known plenty of women with Lupus that have perfectly normal pregnancies. You are near the home stretch Almost June

I'm wondering how accurate the fundal height measurement is because yesterday my doctor said I'm now measuring at 35 weeks instead of almost 31 weeks I have my growth scan tomorrow at lunch time so I'll know more then but if it does indeed line up my Mid July due date will more than likely be end of June

@babymoma89 thank you x it's just a bit unnerving when they throw something like that at you out of the blue! Guess it's good they are thorough but I'm sat there like whaaaaat?

It will be interesting to find out how your measurements compare. I'm having growth scans so they don't bother measuring my tummy. Hope scan goes well x

So anxious just thinking about it. Baby boy feels huge just like his sister did. I'm just terrified of the thought of having a c section because he's too big and really don't want that to happen.

Babymoma, I'm measuring 2 weeks behind today, well just over 2 weeks, measuring the same as I did at 29 week appointment

Midwife made an appointment for tomorrow growth scan at 1pm just as I made an appointment for Dd eyes at the hospital which has been changed solo many times I didn't want to change it again as they had a last minute cancellation for tomorrow, midwife went off and came back with Thursday morning which is much better as they will all be in childcare

So it looks like growth scans all round!

So my doctor was right to send me for growth scan little man is weighing in at 5lbs when he should be 3. Waiting for my doctor to call me and see what the next step is. If he continues at this rate he will be well over 9lbs by my due date He's in the 98th percentile and is a chunker

Today's growth scan showed she is a bit small
I'm 32 weeks tomorrow
Femur was good at 31w6d
Abdomen was 29w1d
Head was 30w1d

Measuring 3rd centile

She was scrunched up though so hopefully thats the reason, scan took 40 mins just to get those measurements
I kept seeing the small measurements and was getting worried then she got someone else in to check and to check blood flow to brain as that can be a sign of something being wrong if too fast or slow and blood flow through the cord to check placenta OK, both were fine luckily

Then had to be monitored on ctg for movement, luckily only took 10 minutes as she was moving alot and spoke to Dr.

Next Thurs will scan just to check the blood flow again to brains and cord
Following Tues will be consultant appointment and the Thursday 2 weeks today another growth scan

I was happy with hardly any appointments to now gone to 4 in 2 weeks!
Did get my whooping cough jab though as almost forgot and I'm 32 weeks tomorrow which is when it's recommended to be done by so least that's something!

Hope every one else is OK today?

Nope they haven't called yet the specialist said more than likely they'll have me going back every 2-3 weeks to monitor his growth. I'm worried though because if they make me wait till me due date he's gonna way to big

so.. my tiredness apart from being a mom of 3 and being pregnant.. i just got a phone call from my midwife to say my iron was lower than they thought, but also my Vit B and D are non existent and thats why im so tired and my immune system is probably not in a good way and i need to up it before i have baby / labour. so off tot he chemist first thing tomorrow.

lovely pics! least you know hes gonna be a good sturdy weight if he was to come early. im sure they will keep an eye on his weight, they may induce early too.

@BabyBrain80 i have a lupus like disease (Rach has lupus) it’s dealt difficult to diagnose lupus, but there are lots of illnesses under the same autoimmune umbrella that have very similar symptoms. It can cause early pregnancy loss so it may explain your early losses. The problem with testing while you’re pregnant is that it can disguise the illness. My bloods are always so much better while I’m pregnant so I would follow up post partum especially if you’re feeling extra tired and get sore joints etc. keep me updated!

Star, I’m glad you’re getting another scan in 2 weeks. Sounds like your tiny peanut is safe and healthy despite her size. The blood flow sounds very reassuring
