Hi ladies!

Newcomer here so I'm hoping I can join in :laugh2:

:witch: is due on May 17th, so I'll be testing then!

Still testing out trigger shot, 6 days after it was given. I think last cycle it was 8 days past trigger when it was out of my system. I don't have any of the HCG symptoms this month like i did last month. If I hadn't tested the trigger the last few mornings, I would've thought I hadn't even taken it. Weird. I've only had some slight pinpricks on the left side & this morning I had a little tiny cramp on the right side.

Hey guys. I would like to join maybe. Not sure what's going on with my cycles, lol. I guess you can put me down for the 29th, may be longer.

I'm currently seeing a infertility specialist as of last month. Found a few things wrong with me. Doctor originally was going to start giving me clomid to move things along but then I had a consult with him on Monday to tell me that the best bet was for me to just do IVF. (wth?) He said that I wasn't ovulating. I think that was a money ploy because I took a ovulation test yesterday for it to be so close to positive. I called the dr office and the brought me in today for an ultrasound and blood work. Still awaiting blood work but scan showed I had a 18mm follicle on my right side, but they kept saying you are day 24 way to late to ovulate. My cycle is average 34 days with last month being 39 days. They keep telling me that it will be impossible for me to conceive that there's not enough time?

Any insight ladies?

I would schedule an appointment with another RE at a different office and get a second opinion. Make sure it's a different office because doctors at the same office rarely go against the advise of a colleague.

I've heard 16mm is good enough so 18mm is great. I'd definitely see another dr. If you have long cycles are obviously aren't going to ovulate on cd 14. I have similar cycles and ovulate around then. Go to a female dr. They have more common sense regarding female anatomy.

That sounds line crap to me! I am currently on clomid to help me ovulate and have been having mid-cycle ultrasounds to see what's going on. On my first scan the follicle was 16mm ans the consultant told me to start dtd as O could happen anytime from now. He said the a O takes place anywhere between 16mm and 24mm. As for saying that's too late is ridiculously because plenty of women have long cycles and are able to conceive. The length of the follicular phase isn't really too important more the length of your lp afterwards. I would definitely get a second opinion and consider changing consultants x

I am testing currently, being 9dpo. All BFNs though so far. Boooo!! :)

I'm currently 6dpo and it's been a rough morning so far. My lower back is killing me (not a PMS symptom for me!) and I've had a bad tension headache for 6 hours now that started at 2am. All I have is ibuprofen and I'm scared to take it so I'm toughing it out.... I rarely get headaches like this.. Except when pregnant! But of course I feel like I'm really just getting sick and it's not pregnancy related at all :nope: I'll probably test Sunday because I'm impatient! AF is due next Thursday so I'll test early but if I'm not pregnant this month there won't be anymore trying because hubby is unsure if he is ready for a third now :cry: Good luck everyone!!
 
Tested today and it was negative, but AF hasn't showed up yet either. I also got dizzy on two separate occasions today which was really weird! But now I am just in limbo, leaning more towards AF just being late.
 
8DPO and a :bfn:

I know its normal to not get a :bfp: so early, but with my son I was 8/9DPO and got a :bfp: so I always think that if I don't get a :bfp: by 10DPO then I'm out even though I know that's not how it works LOL
 
Can I get added for testing on May 26th?

Fingers crossed this month!!! We've been TTC for 8 months (but this is only my 4th actual cycle). The woo-hoo-ness of trying has definitely gone away. It took 2-1/2 years to conceive our daughter. My first 2 children were conceived with my ex-husband and before my PCOS was "active."

Anyone else testing late this month?!?!!
 
Still no AF for me, so going to test tomorrow morning. I should be either 17dpo/15dpo so I am thinking I will get an accurate test whichever way it goes.

Navyladybug that is still really early,every pregnancy is different. I'd still be the same as you though lol!

Well I am now officially 1dpo, woop, finally in the 2ww! Ovulation was horrendously painful so praying that mean a strong O. Really hope this is the cycle!

9DPO and another :bfn: :cry: I hate this uncertainty and in general this feeling of waiting during every TTW
