Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

jinx make a wish Sarah - good luck with sleep. Alex has been the same lately and its a killer. I wonder why i bother going to bed :hugs:

amy - hi :happydance: :wohoo: :yipee:  school here is still on! the first day of hols is 24th

sarah - poor u! can you not lay him beside you? owen will only go back to sleep with the boob in his mouth so i lie him beside me in bed. the only way to get any rest! OH is still on the sofa but the way he's made my blood boil the last 2 evenings he can stay there :haha: :grr:

maybe :hugs::haha::hugs:
Thats the only way I can get Alex to sleep too  I didnt mind when he only woke 3 times a night but its every half hour lately. I think he wakes every time my boob falls out of his mouth! I cant believe you struggled on like this for 7 months! Leave your OH on the sofa!

to be perfectly honest i cant believe it either but i hat the thought of CC or CIO plus i dont know if i have the energy! its just easier to shove my boob in his mouth :haha: should get some sleep but am scared as soon as i turn the light off he'll wake :dohh:

I would just like to say :dohh::devil::gun::ignore::argh::grr::gun::help::brat::sad2::argh:

Sorry now im off to bed. Hope everyone has a good night. x

I had my first period when Amelia was 8 weeks and they've been the same amount of days usually 32 but it's just this one that's late :( Think I might book an appointment with the doctor tomorrow just be sure everything's ok, i'm probably just worrying too much.

i knew it! as soon as i shut my eyes owen started screaming! he's asleep now but i'm awake :hugs:

h&f - hope u r ok :hugs: did dave turn up?

hannah - i am sure you are ok! our bodies are funny things! i had a 40day period the april before getting pregnant with owen but the drs couldnt find a cause and just said 'one of those things'!!!

ugh what a terrible night :dohh: i hope you all fared better!!! it is raining again with thunderstorms forecast so no way i am going to get across the border to get the bits i need for christmas eve! that means i will have to go on christmas eve with the 3 kids in tow! not an appealing prospect but the nuts and olives are much nicer from there! my MIL works at the school Dylan goes to so luckily she's coming to collect him so i dont have to go out with the other 2!

H&F - I am so sorry things are not good between you and Dave right now. I can't believe he would say his son is more important than you and Amy :nope: And as for bringing your Mum into it :grr: Sending you big :hugs2:

L-C - you sounds so organised  Wow 2 teeth for Will :happydance: all the better to chew his Christmas dinner

Emera - well done on your budget buying  and good luck with the wrapping :) I blitzed mine one evening last week so only have a couple of bits I have bought since to do. I do however have all my food shopping to conquer  I got the meat from the butcher yesterday and I have most of my roasting veg so Christmas dinner is sorted at least but we do still need food for all the other days :dohh: I shall keep all limbs and appendages crossed for your Mum (& turkey :winkwink:) arrving as planned.

Maybebaby
- I am sorry your OH is being so tetchy :hugs: You would think he would be pleased you were trying to save money with getting a friend to fix the laptop  Crappy weather and a rubbish night sleep, well thats not on! C'mon karma what happened to being fair :winkwink: FIngers crossed the weather clears up before Christmas Eve for you so you can get your shopping done.

Sarah - Cor you did have a busy day. Bless Oliver soaking himself :haha: Joni has started splashing in the bath alot and often throws lots of water in her face which shocks her for a few seconds before she gives a huge grin, giggles and does it again  I am sorry the rest of your night did not follow the good start. Joni went through a stage of waking at 4am and only going back to sleep if she snuggled up with me. It lasted a couple of weeks and then just stopped

Hannah - I am glad you got the test result you wanted but sorry your cycle is all wonky :hugs: My midwife did warn me that my cycle could be really variable for a year or so after you have a baby before it settles down again. Hopefully yours will settle soon :hugs: I really hope mine settles soon too, this 20 day cycle with 7-10 days off is really hacking me off :growlmad:

Amy :hi: missed you :hugs: Wow so Alex is nearly on tooth number 3 too  Still no teeth for Joni  I can just see her being one of the babies that does not get teeth until they are one! Sorry your outing ending up being stressful and unproductive, at least you all got some air and exercise though.

I felt dreadful yesterday afternoon. I got home from the city and within an hour or so I had a cracking headache, felt all shaky and tired. I managed to catch 45mins rest in bed while Joni napped but when she woke she decided she was going to spend the entire 3+ hours until bed making a nasal whinging sound which made me feel like someone was hammering a foot long iron spike through my forehead with a sledge hammer :nope: I was so grateful when hubby came home and I could pass the reins over to him. I still feel a bit washed out today so am going to take it easy. I really don't want to be ill.

On a completely different note, I ordered some bits from Verbaudet last month and qualified for a free bath toy. THe clothes were delivered with a note stating the toy was out of stock but would be sent separately when it was available. So the toy came yesterday, but it is a stacking giraffe shape sorting toy  I know it is a freebie so I should probably just be grateful, but I can't help feeling a little dissapointed as I really wanted the bath toy for Joni. I also find it a little annoying that they have sent me a catalogue with the toy which is still advertising the free bath toy if you place an order :grr: Sorry I know that is a really inconsequential whinge but it really did pee me off!

I hope you all have productive days and receive any parcels &/or apologies which are long overdue! :hugs2: to you all xx

Maybe sorry you had such another bad night. I heard that a friends 3 week old is sleeping through and I felt so sulky jealous yesterday and even more so today... I need sleep and you must need it more. Really hope the rain stops for you x

H&F hope things get better for you and that today is a better day already.

Frufru sorry you had a bad day yesterday, I'd be narked by the free pressie thing too! Hope you are feeling better x

I am feeling generally narked at everything today, I hope it's hormonal because then I have an excuse. The poor dog has already had both barrels, why do they have to bark at everything!!! Me and Will are relegated to upstairs again to steer clear of him. The inlaws are coming round in a bit to take him out, which is a huge help, but they do have a tendancy to inadvertantly trash the place, which hampers my Xmas cleaning attempts that are already made slightly more complicated by a little man.

Hope you all have a good day, sorry to be so negative xx

LC - i feel i take 1 step forwards 4 steps back with the housework, the kids make mess quicker than i can tidy!

frufru - :grr:about the bath toy!

owen's had his lunch super early at 11.20 and has fallen asleep on me. going to try and put him down and get on with stuff!

morning, we are watching a christmas movie and I'm feeling festive :) I think my cheeky glass of wine might have helped :winkwink:

maybe - Alex actually slept 11 - 3.30am which is good going for him this week! I think his teeth may have decided to appear after christmas :haha: I also have to brave the shops tomorrow. Kerry's car has broken down and so he's taken mine to work :dohh: dreading it!

frufru - I ordered bits from vertbaudet and my free gift didnt arrive either :grr: I've never really been satisfied with them, their sizes seem out. Emily is a normal sized 10yr old but all the clothes I ordered her are miniscule and I've sent them back :dohh: more faffing about! Hope you're feeling better :hugs::hugs:

h&F - how are things with Dave? did he come home? any sign of an apology? reallly hope you are OK xxxx :hugs: xxxx

well we went out for a walk, so nice to get out of the house. It was hard going trying to push the pram in the snow/sludge but we made it to the village park where Emily made a snowman and holly had fun with the snow forts the village children had made! we're all snuggled up in front of the fire now brrrr :hugs:

Hi Everyone!

Amy its so lovely to have you back!! I love the sound of a cheeky glass of wine :haha: I think I might find a nice festive film to watch tonight and have a little tipple while I wrap some more pressies.

LC I hope you're feeling okay hun, I have days like that too  I find its best just do get stuck into something (like hoovering the stairs!) thought its easier said than done with a baby to look after!

H&F I hope things are okay :hugs:

FruFru I would be so annoyed about the bath toy! Have you emailed them? Oliver's favourite bath toys are his rubber ducks and he has some little squirty things which is loves. He likes to splash and does the same as Joni when it goes on his face :haha: He likes to splash me too  I usually end up soaked! I hope you are feeling better today!

Oliver and I walked into town earlier, it was so cold! Oliver was all wrapped up so he was fine but brrrr!!! I had to go to the post office, the sorting office, and buy a few things. We got everything done so I was pleased, but it was nice to get home!

I'm still waiting for a few parcels, if they don't arrive by Friday I think we'll have a rush around and replace one of them. Steve is off work so at least he can help. My baby led weaning cook book arrived today and I'm really pleased with it (thanks Modo for the recommendation!!). My babylegs order also arrived and they are soooo cute! Oliver has a pair on now and I think they are great, and perfect for in the house as he is such a wriggle bum ts so hard to get trousers on him :haha: I think Steve will think they are girlie

sarah - where are the babylegs from?

amy - a glass of wine....mmmmm....and a fire you are sooooooooooo lucky, we live in a flat. my parents have a house but they never seem to put on the fire much (either that or they dont invite us round for it :haha: ) i fancy some mulled wine. have the spices but OH drunk all the wine as per usual :growlmad: and it's pouring so don't feel like going out!

Maybe they are from ebay! I looked at the proper ones but they are so expensive and these are just as nice! These are the ones:
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110606429874&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I couldnt choose between the designs so I made an offer of £16 for 20 pairs and they accepted it! So I have 20 pairs all in different designs. Some of them are in proper BabyLegs packaging and have the BG logo on them so make they are copies? But they are great quality for the money!

Hi all -

well oh turned up at 9.30 ish ... he said he was going to birmingham so i hope he brings me a chocolate doghnut but yet again he is late back.

Ohh the talk of fire and wine ... I think I might go light ours and openabottle and the pack ofchocs i bought its such a shame weight watchers isnt on tonight i am going to stuff my face.

Sorry for not responding to everyone I have avery grumpy baby sat on my lap and fidgeting.

thanks for the support ladies.

LC - :hugs: I have days like that. Its horrible, I hope things perk up :hugs: xxx

sarah - I think a festive tipple is mandatory for wrapping time :haha::winkwink: I'm planning to get the childrens pressies down from the loft to wrap tonight and hopefully hide them in the shed. wow you got such a bargain with the babylegs! Oliver looks so cute in them :hugs: and i LOVE your avatar

maybe - mmm mulled wine, we have wine but no spices! :haha: we are lucky with the fire but its only becasue we are on cylinder gas and its £100 for two cylinders which last 3 weeks only having the heating and hot water on for 4 hours a day  I bet your flat is nice and cosy :hugs:

H&F -:hugs: i think he should bring you a whole pack of chocolate donuts and a bunch of flowers and a huge apology :grr: hope you and Amy are ok xx

well after my last post I felt Alex's top gum and both front teeth are through  !!!!! I cant believe it!!! I guess that explains my week of terrible nights. x

Oh dear just had enough runny explosive nappy :dohh: Pretty sure it's because she's got a tooth cutting now!

Have done 3 tests now and they've all been :bfn: Still doesn't explain why my period's 15 days late :growlmad:
