ovulating around 27th july?? any ladies want to join?

I'm on CD4 just now and due to ovulate on or around the 27th which will be CD14. I've been charting since January this year (originally to avoid pregnancy, so it will be strange charting to TTC instead).

We will be TTC #1, excited and also a bit scared too as I don't know what to expect

I too am trying to be healthy... lost 15 lbs back May/June so trying not to sabatoge that!! I was waiting to hear from my doctor to see if I was going to be allowed to TTC 1 more time. I was told in Feb that I could NOT carry a baby at that point, my uterus wasn't strong enough... then as of June, I got the thumbs up!! so we were VERY excited. But I lost the weight since I figured if the doc said no, then I didn't want the extra weight on and if he said yes, that I wanted my weight to be lower so as to be less strain on my uterus...

MolGold OMG you are a late O'er... hahaha my whole cycle is 23 days which is great when TTC, not so much when not I'm due to ovulate on July 23... so right before you! so we'll be cycle buddies!! that's CD 10 for me, I have o'd as early as CD 7, so we'll be starting to bd probably tomorrow...maybe tonight since it's our anniversary I'm CD4 today.

MrsG at least your DH lets you know.. mine would freak if he knew I had opks hahahaha I don't really need them, my EWCM is fairly accurate. I bought them initially because I had been on bcp for 4 months Feb - May and my body was a mess on bcp... and initially we were going to wait until sept. I told him I was stopping the pills in June because my body HATES being on them... and I wasn't sure when I would O. On the bcp I bled/spotted almost every day EXCEPT the week that I was supposed to... sigh... I think my 21 - 23 day cycle just does not like to be pushed to 28 days... I hope it happens quickly for you!! You have waited long enough!!

AFM I am fairly patient right now but have never had to TTC for very long with either of my 2 DS's... so I'm really really hoping that it's quick again... but after a chemical and a mmc last year, and that I'm 38.. I'm a little concerned...

MomoDS that is a long time to be TTC#2.. hopefully the clomid works well for you!! maybe you'll end up conceiving twins

klsltsp, thank you. Yes, it's been a long time, so Ive learned a ton over that time, including patience, lol. So, for all of you first timers, feel free to ask questions. I have a plethora of knowledge now. Twins would be awesome, but I would be thrilled with just one for now. My MIL and Sis told me that they are dreaming about me having a baby and getting a "good feeling". I hope they are right? My sis doesn't even know I am trying yet. Anyway, I started my FF chart and ready to begin. I hope your third is quick and easy like your first two. My first was quick too, so you can imagine how frustrating these 2 years have been, lol. Anyway, here's to BFP for everyone this cycle!

I'm on CD5 now - AF finished yesterday. Trying to drink lots of water to help with CM.

Do any of you plan to test before your AF is expected, or do you plan to wait to see if she's a no show?

I am a POAS addict so I generally start testing around 9dpo... yea I know it is early but I just cant help it lol

I have one test on purpose and plan to wait until at least 12dpo since I always start on 13dpo. I'm doing things a lot differently this cycle.

I am a poas addict too LOL I will probably start ic's at 7/8 dpo.. my goodness last month I knew I was out since we only bd 1 time 4 days before I ovulated and I still started testing on 6dpo LOL

I'm hoping to get OH on an every other day routine

This is our first round with clomid, so I hope it works......but not getting myself too excited just in case.
We have been trying for just over 2 years actively, 1 year with a fertility specialist. There is nothing technically wrong with either my DH or myself, which is great but frustrating at the same time ha ha.

Today is CD8 for me, I haven't even started my OPKs yet, just been so busy with life and having fun i totally forgot! I will probably start them today when I get home from work.

I'm trying to take a relaxed approach to this but I don't know if I can lol

I already told the bf that we need to do it every day to every second day starting on the 23rd lol. Gonna give him a gentle reminder today lol

Hopefully doing it every day to every second day from CD 10 to CD 18 we will catch it

Hey Miana! You and I have about the same story except this is my second round of Clomid. We missed the first round because I didn't know that it would extend my cycle so we were off when we BD'd. We used it on days 5-9, and since we don't ovulate until about 5-10 days after taking the last pill, I eneded up O'ing on CD18 instead of my usual CD13. My doctor approved me to take it on days 3-7 this time so my cycle will hopefully be the length that I am used to. I am also using OPK's and temping this cycle, unlike last. Anyway, I thought I would give you some pointers for your first go around. When do/did you begin yours?

I had a blood test Saturday and my dr told me to start taking clomid that day (only CD2) so I'm 3 pills in ha ha. I'm due to have another blood test to track my ovulation on CD9, so it seems a longer amount of time to be taking it than what I have researched but I know my dr's one of the best so I'm not worried
I hope it doesn't extend my cycle too much? I usually O around CD10-12. I know it will get to around my normal CD24-26 and I'll start to get excited that I could be pregnant, only to realise it's the tablet making me late! Ha ha
I really hope I get pregnant first round but I'm also not getting my hopes too high because they'll only have further to fall and with our track record the odds are against us...... But I still am excited!

When my Dr decided to do the next round with clomid he looked directly at my DH and said "she's not too take this until I say so or you'll end up with a litter!" Ha ha
Twins run on my mothers side of the family already without skipping a generation so I'll probably end up with quads lol.......but let's not put that thought out in the universe!

She devil cd8 here also i was bummed thinking it would be forever till my fertile period but here we go!! Cd 10 it will be crunch time, im workibg on perfecting my temps ive set a 5am alarm i wanna see if im even ovulating lol i have wondfo opks and i bought some answer ones too i started taking Chinese herbs and my bbs are sooo sore so it must be doing something lol

Well for me, I ovulated 5 days after my last pill which is the earliest we should be able to on clomid. There is a clomid ovulation calculator so you can see around when you can expect it. Just for peace of mind anyway. I hope you get pregnant on your first clomid cycle too!

Will be great to go through it altogether. Had another disappointing month trying I'm sure it gets harder every time! I went 5 days no af and really thought this was my month only for her to show up today were so disappointed. Hopefully our time will come
