lost weight or stoped gaining so much ? theres a big dif lol, and its normal for their weight to balance out when they start moving

Jetters - my M didn't gain weight for 9 months! I think sometimes when they are very big babies they really slow down with the weight gain sometimes. She also had a few phases where she'd lose weight, especially when she started moving more / teething, etc - and then she'd have a spurt and put it back on.

K looks the picture of health in those photos and as long as he's eating and drinking well, he's probably just finding his new groove weight-wise or having a bit of a blip.

Agree!!! He looks gorgeous and totally healthy! My DD was failure to thrive and at 4mo weighed the same as an 8w old... she did NOT look healthy!!

I agree Jetters, i think he's just adjusting to moving/weaning and finding a new centile to sit on.

Harrison gained 2oz this week... he's always been a slow gainer, but

Yeah, thanks... am trying hard to ignore the doctors, he couldn't carry on as he was, he was so chunky I thought he was going to pop at one point! He really NEEDed to slim down and as he's not dropped any milk feeds at all i'm not that fussed. I am going to try and spoon feed him one meal a day though if he'll let me cos while BLW is fun he's really not eating a lot yet!

Also Mandarhino our babies are very similar aren't they (when they were littlies?)- so that comforts me! Thanks x

Yas, just remember food is for fun, till they're one I get so worked up about what H eats, especially as he's so skinny, but its not a major part of his diet, he doesnt 'need' it yet. I have to tell myself "food for fun until they're one" every blimmin day, or i start fussing OT, but umm... can I have Kia's eyelashes?! kthxbai

I wouldn't worry about the weight thing either, I've heard that they change shape a lot when they get active as well. My little Harry is already a long stringy baby at 4 months, and didn't put on a lot of weight at last weigh in, but the HV wasn't worried as he'd put on length instead!!

God knows what he'll look like when he gets more active, he's bound to be a tall skinny adult though, as OH is 6' 2", and I'm 5' 9" (not skinny at the moment though since being preggers!!).

We got our first WN custom today, and are really happy with it
