Hi everyone!! This is my first post in the TTC forun whooop! Last night OH finally came around to TTC now instead of in 5 months time so Im ecstatic!!

So last night was the first time I didnt take my pill (cerelle) so Im guessing my withdrawal bleeding will come in the next few days?? We shall see!!

Happy Turkey Day, ladies! I still feel like I'm in the Thanksgiving spirit up here - my US roots won't leave me! I'm very thankful to have found myself here on the forums. Heck I found BnB from a Google search and decided to stay after seeing how lovely people are.

Im hoping it comes soon, I already seem to be waiting around for it lol but whenever Ive had a whoopsie and forgotten my pill its taken about 2 days to hopefully tomorrow will be my day! Then Im hoping it wont be long til I ovulate! Its all a waiting game lol

Emiloo welcome! I didn't get a withdrawal bleed coming off BCP. I barely spotted one day and didn't get AF for another month and a half.

Thanks Mrs Hudson! 3 pills missed now and no bleed but have had 2 days of slight cramping so time will tell! But maybe Ill be like you thinking of starting to take OPKs in a few days to see if I ovulate or not, dont know really!

Emiloo OPKs wouldn't be a bad idea! I didn't have them my first cycle and it's still a mystery to me. Last month is when I first used them but I missed catching my LH surge on tests. This month I'm using the Wondfo cheapies I got from Amazon. I'm liking them a lot cause I can test more over more days to really see what's going on.

Welcome RDHmama! FX that your faint BFP gets darker.

Not too much going on here except keeping an eye on OPKs. We need to get BD going, ack.

Thanks Lavender, AF has made an appearance so once that has gone the OPKs will commence!! I have started charting/ temping now too, being nice and pro-active!

Yes, I hope turkeys and fun were had and good shopping deals were also had. No Thanksgiving for me but hey, the thrift shop was doing a Black Friday sale so hooray for super discounted things!

I'm getting a tiny bit frustrated with OPKs. I guess yesterday I drank too much water so my evening tests were reeeaaallly diluted and didn't show anything. Then today I was so tired I didn't forgot to catch FMU so I won't be able to see if it was darker than yesterday's FMU. Oops. I put a cup ON the toilet now so if I need to go I won't brainfart again. No BD yet either unfortunately, so hopefully we get that in today or tomorrow so when O hits there will at least be some little swimmers to catch it!

AFM: I'm on CD 28, I should be seeing AF around Dec 7th or so if we didn't catch the eggie this round. I'm praying so hard that we did. Friday is DH company Christmas party and I won't be drinking but should be fun. Would be even better if I was Preggo 😃

AFM Thanksgiving was good. MIL did not drive me crazy and I actually had a good time with my BIL's new GF. So today at 4 DPO I started feeling a strange cramp/twinge in my right ovary and into what I'm assuming is my uterus. I promised myself I wouldn't SS but I can't ignore and I know it's not in my head. I told DH I hope I'm making a baby. I also napped today for a solid two hours but that could be from the big move yesterday. Our house is a disaster but we made it our goal to be done by Xmas because we're going to host it. I want to start hosting here. Our kitchen is huge so good for that and I don't want to fight for it when we have LO.

Hi, everyone, and welcome to the new ladies! I really hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We hosted this year (both my family and DH's) and everything was lovely. We both really enjoy hosting! It was exhausting but turned out great and was a very satisfying feeling!

MrsH, your symptoms sound promising! FX!!!

Charlie, you're so close to testing! I can't wait to hear! I swear, I think I get more excited for my BnB friends to test than I do for myself!

Oh, I also found this site from Google! Well when I first got off the pill and started ttc, I was google searching every little thing I could think of (as I would guess a lot of us do!) and this site would come up a lot of times as a result. There were other ttc forums that I would read the answers on as well, but those all seemed to be filled with really mean, hateful ladies. This site was always so nice! So I finally decided to just join.

Anyways, hope everyone's Monday is off to a good start! Oh, and I also miss Patience and have been thinking about her a lot lately too, and was realizing just the other day that she should be back soon! Yay!

Hah Turtle I was searching the same thing! I had no idea what to expect after coming off BC so I did a search and found this forum. I'm so glad that you had a great Thanksgiving! Hosting can be so fun. It's a lot of work, but still fun!

Ahh Charlie you are close! I hope AF stays well away and you get your BFP.

MrsH it's odd, but OPKs aren't stressing me as much as I thought they would. I think I'm finding it helps me understand what's going on with my body better, which in turn makes me feel a little more relaxed.

That said I think my positive OPK was indeed yesterday and we DTD then, so I'm hoping if we go it again tonight and tomorrow we'll have our bases covered. Then the wait begins!
