Well this mornings temp certainly made me smile still bfn though, could be the vit b6 is doing exactly what it's meant to i think in 11 months my temp has never stayed high after 10dpo so fx!

Also, not sure how much reading you've done of the thread, but I was on a low dose oral pill from 17 to 28! I had super regular periods prior to taking the pill, but very intense cramping. I have had a fairly consistent 27/28 day cycle since quitting back in December (seriously, how has it been that long already?!) My first few periods were pretty light, but more recently the heavy cramping is coming back which made me believe it really did take me a few good cycles to bring my body back to normal after being on the pill so long. Cramps are no where near as bad as when I was younger though. Just wanted to share my experience, but as you will see, we are all so very different, the more stories the better idea we get of ourselves Best of luck to you!

Thanks!! I was on Yaz. Woah.. was... sorry that just seems odd to say after taking it every day for so long I think my poor DH is freaking out a bit now that it's real. Meanwhile I'm dying for my withdrawl bleed to come and go so we can get started!!

I've been stalking for awhile now, but don't think I've had a chance to read every single post yet. But just wanted to say congrats to those who got their BFP so quickly (Jessica your baby bump is adorable!!) and FX'd for those still trying!!

For those who know, what CD did you ovulate after stopping bcp?

I'm not planning on charting/temping/opk'ing at first, so I won't really have a clue what my body is up to. Temping would be really hard for me since I work midnights on the weekends only, but then switch back to a normal person schedule during the week. I could try it and just take it whenever I wake up even though that varies greatly, but I wouldn't feel like I could trust it. I also don't want to spend the $$ on opk's just yet, but I will if nothing happens in the first few months. So, for this first cycle counting the first day of my withdrawl bleed as CD1 I'm just planning on trying to BD as much as possible from CD10-20ish. I'm bound to catch it IF I even ovulate this month right? haha. DH is a firefighter though so he works for 24 hours every 3rd day and then with me working nights it's just crazy and we don't even see each other everyday and only go to bed at the same time about twice a week so we're really going to have to try hard and pretty much plan BD'ing which stinks. Plus I have my annual gyno appt on the 26th... which will probably be about CD11... and I know your not supposed to BD before a pap smear, so we'll have to wait to really get started until after that... which should be fine as it would be insane if I O'd that soon anyway.

I haven't been charting/temping or anything either. I've just come off BCP about 4 weeks ago, finished my withdrawal bleed around the 27th, so I counted that as CD1.
*if* I ovulated, I'm guessing it was around CD14.

It sounds like you have quite a hectic schedule with your OH! But don't worry, if you read back I think you'll find that some people BD a few days before O and still got a BFP! The ladies here suggested that the first month off BCP I should just note all my symptoms as a reference point for when I do get my proper AF, and I've found that to be really helpful so far! I had really bad symptoms following my withdrawal bleed, lots of dizziness and nausea which I chalked up to possibly getting ready to ovulate.

I didn't ovulate the first cycle off bcp, everything after that has been between cd16 and cd23, so I love temping/opks in order to let me know if it's one week or the next

Lola maybe I misread your post but cd1 should be the first day of bleeding, even if it was withdrawl bleed, not the end (which is how it sounded) but first cycles are always loopy too

7dpo today....I feel like I have the worst cold! Nose won't stop running and I'm sneezing every five minutes.
Also something new today, my stomach is making a whole lot of noise. It's not low down, more up near my ribs...but its super loud!

Slept in until 11.30 today too....woopsies

Lola i'm with you on the sleeping thing, catnaps are underrated ! I've been going to bed early or catnapping when I get home, that's the only unusual thing for me atm, tototally knackered ! But that could be from the crutches, man they're tiring but now i have the weekend to put my feet up and maybe catnap some more lol

mkyerby - Thank you, probably just bloat at this point i guess altho its not possible to hide it at all!
I came off my pill had my breakthrough bleed (cd1) and then according to opks i ovulated on cd16 (and also caught the egg for my bfp at the same time!)

lola - come on bfp!! keeping my fingers crossed!!

That's what i'm thinking Twinkie FF officially has CD1 as monday, so if i have a temp crash tomorrow and spot then it'll be on time but that'll still be an 11day LP which is more than i've had the past couple of months

Feeling more crampy today and (TMI) just went to the loo and had a bit of ewcm o.0 the chemical cycle I had watery cm the day before AF, the plot thickens.... ! Just wish the HPTs would answer me ! or maybe they are... !

Mkyerby, Lola- seems like we're all in the same boat of being in the first cycle off of birth control. Hopefully we have some first round luck! haha. It's frustrating not really knowing what's going on with our bodies.

Counting from withdrawal bleed I think I'm on CD16. I think I may have ovulated around CD11 or 12 based on one-sided lower back pains and what I thought to be ewcm. My nipples/glands continue to be really sore too! ( I suppose likely a symptom from quitting the BC).

Not feeling any wiser this morning still blaring BFN, my temp still has a couple of degrees to sink before AF should come at least I don't feel much of anything at the moment, just very mild boob soreness (only if I grab 'em lol) if anything it feels a bit like AF is on its way, symptoms have definitely decreased i'd love some answers but every day from today that I don't spot is a personal victory for me

Patience - that sounds really promising, i've never had ewcm. guess probably due to the fact ive always been on the pill (got pregnant with ectopic on implant and no normal cycle before my little boy) and assuming my body wasnt back to its usual self this time round from the pill either. I feel like ive missed out on this ewcm!

Keeping my fx for a bfp soon for you, you deserve it so much!

Preg tests -- Just a word of warning ladies - I bought stacks of cheapo 10miu one step tests from amazon and ebay, and they all until yesterday showed negative, and only show the faintest line today(18dpo and 7 days since pos hpt). Whereas the clearblue, clearview and superdrug ones all showed bfps from 11dpo. So don't trust the cheapos completely when you are testing

Goodness Jess you've had one funny little journey haven't you how is the bean ? How are you feeling at the moment compared to the 2ww ?

I'm really glad you mentioned that about the ICs, I accidentally bought an even cheaper brand than I planned, I was on amazon looking for OneStep since I use their ov kits and they're great, ended up buying some "made in china" pack that used the same name but added something, I didn't want to convince myself maybe the tests are shit and that i'm actually preggers but the reviews were mixed about them i've been testing 2 a day just in case had 3 evaps since 8dpo (the kind that you get a shadow when they start to dry a bit (still within 10mins but they're so tiny they dry quickly) only for the line to disappear again later) tempted to swing by the supermarket and pick up the brand i got my chemical bfp on, at least i know they'll tell the truth

I thought yesterday and today when I checked my CM that it was slightly tinted, but today my CP has gone high (I know I can't read too much into it but i'm reading anything i can right now i'm that desperate )

I know i'm babbling but i've got noone else to talk to but you girls

They don't sell FRER here all chemists are closed today and so I have to go to the local supermarket for a pack of generic tests which are probably less strong than the ICs but also more reliable I guess, I may have to swing by on my way back from hobbling to the shops to buy stuff, got a bunch of discount vouchers running out today have to go there and ask if hubby can pick it up tomorrow if I buy it today... o.o
