Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

Omg she is sooo adorable! In terms of chewing, when my dog was a puppy I just remember having to tell her no a lot and send her to her bed or crate. And we would crate her when we left the house until she got to be closer to a year, because we would come home and find newspapers, books and other things chewed on. That helped a lot.

She is sooo cute! You are gonna have your hands full :)

Thanks ladies, she is such a cutie!! Thank you for the advice Michelle - I have been out and bought some chew sticks today and she has spent the whole afternoon occupied so am hoping I might have cracked it! Haha I'm sure I'm speaking too soon.

How are you all doing?

I thought I was doing well after the d and c with very little bleeding but it seems to have started today which upset me. Looking back thought I had bleeding for 2 weeks last time.

I've been out of town, so I'm just now getting back to checking the boards.

On wed, my fertility appt went well! He did an ultrasound and said my follicles look really good. I think he counted twelve on each side. He said I'm in no chance of running out of eggs anytime soon. But based on what I told him about my cycles and symptoms, he thinks I may have a mild case of pcos. I'm going in to get bloods done this week to check that, prolactin and thyroid. I'm thin, but based on my small boobs, I wouldn't be surprised if I have increased androgen levels!

He said he will probably put me on femara for the next few months and then we may do an hsg if I don't get pregnant by that point. I'm hoping that won't be the case, and I'll be pregnant by May. Fingers crossed!

also just got back home after being in the states...how am i? crampy and crappy. cd1 is the worst. ugh.

glad the appt went well, michellebelle! i imagine it's nice to at least have a plan. something with a "let's try this and if it doesn't work, we'll move to this" feels like you are at least doing SOMEthing!

i was so sure i was pregnant this time. the travel and family stuff took my mind off it a bit, but it's hitting now that we're home...quite sad, to be honest.:sad1:

will try to get myself used to the idea of a possible early december baby. heh.

Michelle that's really positive about your appointment. I bet you are pleased to have something pro active to do! I have my fx for you that all works very soon!!

Oh Jump I'm so sorry af showed. Our bodies are so cruel to us! I'm hoping for a December baby for you! A Christmas baby!!

Afm, my puppy is doing well. She is still chewing everything but I think and hope it's just puppy thing and she'll get past it! She is such a great support tho, and is helping me heal so much. I got my first pretty much negative hpt since the d and c today. Mixed feelings but at least it means my body is returning to normal quickly.

Hello everyone,

I haven't been on BnB much in months but stopped in to check something and had a PM from jump so starting to think of all you ladies. (I still keep in touch with a lot of the women from the positive thinking expecting thread on Facebook)
I hope no one minds my popping in to say hi. I hid my signature but I am 31 weeks along now and all is well.

I am so sorry to hear of your second loss hanrh. There really are no words. This thread and the "graduates" from it have been a huge source of strength for me throughout all of this and you started it all and that means a lot to me.
I know it isn't the same as TTCAL at all but getting a dog is the only thing that got me through WTT so I hope it does help you in this time. And what a beautiful name.
Keeping you in my prayers.

Thinking of everyone else too who is still trying or TTCAL. I hope to see you all on the other side one way or another.

Congrats to Loobs! A bit of very good news! Is there a link to the new expecting thread so I can pop in and say congrats if anyone else I knew is over there?

That's about it. Just wanted to say hi and let you all know I am thinking of you.

Best,
Mint

Mint, so glad everything is going well for you! Do you know if you're having a girl or boy?

Jump, sorry AF showed. I agree, cd1 is absolutely terrible.

I got the results from my blood work back. Prolactin, testosterone, and tsh levels were all fine. Have a slightly increased Dhea levels though. Not entirely sure what that means. Regardless, the fertility doctor will put me on femara next cycle unless I happen to get pregnant this cycle!

Michelle - we didn't find out - letting it be a surprise.
Good luck with the femara! Or better yet, with this cycle!

Thanks Mint!

And that sounds awesome, not finding out. Gives you something else to look forward to on the birth day!

Popping back to catch up! Hope you're all doing good.

Nice to hear from you Mint! Best wishes for baby coming - not long now!

Michelle - Glad they've got a plan in place for you. Hopefully you won't need it!

X

Hi mint, lovely to hear from you. Glad you are well and looking forward to hearing news of your little one. Thank you for the kind words, that really means a lot!!

Michelle - that's good news about the ferma although hoping you get preggers before!! Looks like you have ovulated! Count down to testing!!!

Loobs - nice to hear from you. How are you?

Afm, had my specialist appointment this week. The preliminary results from my tests from this mc had come back and showed a possibility of a partial molar! They have sent for further tastings at a specialist centre however if it is confirmed I won't be able to ttc again for 6 months as there is a risk of developing cancerous cells!! I am gutted and praying that that I get the all clear for this! I don't think I could handle waiting 6 months again!!! He did say tests showed no problems with us though and he said we have just had a bad draw and he knows we will definitely have a baby soon which helped. Just a waiting gAme now !

oh no! I hope the tests come back showing just a regular miscarriage and not a partial molar. Thinking good thoughts for you!

I hope the testing shows no partial molar. This is a difficult enough time without having to wait another 6 months on top of everything else :hugs: Hope you're keeping well, I bet Hope is keeping you on your toes!

I'm doing good thanks. 16 weeks now, the time is flying in. The 1st tri tiredness and nausea hasn't disappeared however, and I am still waiting on the magic time when 2nd tri is meant to be full of "glowing"

Hope you other ladies are doing well x

Thanks ladies. Have more blood tests tomorrow so hopefully get a result soon in order to get on with whAtever the future holds.

Loobs - sorry you are feeling so poorly still! Just have to keep thinking it will all be worth it!!

Michelle - your temps are looking amazing!!

How is everyone ?

apparently my email subscription to this thread was unsubscribed for a while! I thought it went dead again!! So I'm happy it didn't!

I had my appointment with my fertility specialist today, he knew as soon as I walked in that I had pcos... He said it that i have a "central pcos" and that I have only a 15% chance of clomid helping me ovulate, so not the best odds :/ however I told him I think I ovulated on Sunday, and when he did an ultrasound he said that there was an empty spot on my left ovary so there is a good chance I did! Got some blood work done to determine if I did or not. we are going to have DH get a SA next weekend (he's gonna hate that!) Going to try a few rounds of clomid and if that doesn't work he said we might have to do IVF. I really don't want to go that far, I just feel sad that there is a chance I might never get pregnant on my own :(

Laura,

I'm so sorry to hear the news at your appointment with the fertility specialist. I'm glad they've been able to find out what is wrong but it must be so upsetting to hear that you may need to have IVF.

Wishing you lots of luck with the Clomid and I hope that you did O and caught the egg.

Good luck <3
