Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

Yes it is, I was going to try it before but wanted to wait, the fertility specialist wants me on it so I this is the first cycle on it

thanks for all the well wishes ladies. i am pretending i'm not pregnant as my main coping mechanism. it works, for the most part. i have the typical early pregnancy fatigue, sore boobs, dizziness, cramping, and occasionally get morning sickness that really only feels like the beginnings of being car sick. nothing too crazy and those things are usually on and off enough that i can stay busy and tune it out and pretend nothing is different. ha! yeah, i know, crazy, but it's working so far. not sure how long i can successfully pretend, but will try as long as i can!:haha:

hanrh, i would call them and be super sweet on the phone, but call EVERY day until you get the results.:haha: and that photo is too cute!! looks like a beautiful place to bike in too!:flow:

michelle and laura, i hope the clomid works!:flower: and at the very least doesn't have too many side effects in the meantime!:dohh:

Jump that all sounds very promising! I have a good feeling
About this one for you :)

thanks for all the well wishes ladies!:friends:

camichelle, i have just noticed your signature.... i hope you are hanging in there...:hugs:

hanrh, that photo is so cute! looks like a beautiful place to bike ride in too!

laura and michelle, i have my fingers crossed for you!!

afm, i am 5 weeks today. still super early. that's the down side to ovulating and testing early! i've known for 2 weeks now and it feels like an eternity!:dohh::haha: i've basically just been pretending i'm not pregnant. my own mind will surely drive me mad if i actually let it sink in that i'm pregnant. trying to exercise and eat well for now and only have mild symptoms. so, we'll see!

Jump it sounds like you're doing everything the right way! Low stress and be healthy :)

I finished my last clomid pill last night, now I am just waiting to ovulate!

Many many congrats jumpingo!! You are doing great just stay healthy and stress free everything will be great!! Wishing u h&h 9 mo

Harnh that pic is super cute :lots of hugs n luv ur way and hope u get to hear soon the results and it turns out great!!

All the v best to all here lots of baby dust your way!!

Laura - hoping you ovulate soon!! How long does it normally take after you finish clomid? Any signs o day is near?

Hi pearly - lovely to hear from you. Glad all is well with you and loving the scan pic.

Jump - so so pleased for you! I completely understand where u are coming from with the pretending you aren't pregnant. Whatever gets you through right?! Will you get an early scan this time? In the uk we aren't entitled until we have lost 3 babies, you have to stick it out until 12 weeks until then!! Make sure you do lots of nice things - pamper yourself!! :)

Afm, STILL waiting on my results. Called the hospital today and was abruptly told that there was no news!! Makes me soo angry!! I will be calling again very soon!! Very annoying also as I just did an opk which was very positive, feeling so sad to be missing ovulation day!

Hanrh that is SO frusterating! So sorry they are being so darn sluggish :/

On clomid it's usually 5-7 days after the last pill to ovulate, but with my pcos it might take longer, that's probably the reason it only has a 15% chance of working with me..

DH SA came back, everything seemed normal other than his morphology was only 2% the doctor is on vacation until next week so he won't be able to interpret anything until he is back. At least his count and motility were normal though! I'm going to start opk' tomorrow I think just to be on the safe side, no other signs of O day approaching yet, so hoping this works! (I never thought I would hope for a pimple on my face, but that's a sign for me that O is coming soon!)

Thanks a lot harnh!!!
So sorry u have to face this, dnt really get it what takes them so long to get back, hope they do so, soon with great results that's what matters at the end!!

Laura, wish u all the luck hun!!

Laura, happy everything is going well!

My DH's SA came back too. The nurse said everything was normal, so very happy about that, esp since he's in his 40s! Now just hoping this Clomid gets me a good egg to give us a chance!

Laura. Glad all your sa analysis results came back ok. My hubby had a very low morphology rate when we got tested however I have fallen pregnant 3 times so I don't think it can be too much of a problem!

Michelle - so glad your results came back good too :)

Do either of you take vitamins ?

I called the hospital again today. They said the consultant we have been seeing has posted me a letter but wouldn't tell me over the phone what it said. Frustrated again!!!

that is so frustrating how insensitive they are being! Don't they understand how hard it would be to have to miss ovulation if you could catch that egg!! not cool at all :(

I do take a prenatal vitamin (made my hair grow a lot so thats a plus!)

Ive noticed that the clomid has done what others say it does and that is really lower my CM, i have a little but I'm going to probably have to use preseed when i have ewcm, mostly annoying other than anything else. I feel like I'm getting a little closer to O, hoping for it within a few days!

Hanrh, that is so crazy. I can't believe they are making you wait this long! So frustrating!

I think I am getting close to O too! I went to the RE today and he said I have a 20mm follicle and my lining is over 9cm, so it's looking good. I don't have huge hopes for this cycle, since it's only my first on Clomid (and Femara.. which didn't work), so I am just hoping it happens in the next 3 months!

For vitamins, I take a prenatal, and then this cycle I also started taking extra vitamin D and magnesium, since I read that those can help with pcos.

Laura that's good about your vitamin helping your hair grow! Which one is it? I have used preseed before - I thought it was really good and used it religiously both months I got my bfps! They say grapefruit juice and evening primrose oil also helps.

Wow Michelle that's brilliant news about your appointment. Hoping you get your o day very soon!

I think I ovulated yesterday or the day before as my temp is on the rise. No sign of my apparent letter from the consultant today. Feeling so frustrated by it I could cry!!! I just want to know either was so I can step out of this limbo and start some kind of healthy TTC regime again!!

Hey all! Just checking in with everybody!

I think I I'd yesterday, my face has some new short term residents (pimple mania..) and my breasts are very tender so that's a good thing! Temp has gone up a bit so I'm just waiting to see what tomorrow's temp is! Finally haven't o'd late if that's the case!

The specialist seems to be playing games now, after calling and calling the doctor was finally in today to give me the interpretation for dh's low morphology and they tell me that I have to schedule a consultation with him now.. And they can't get me in for three weeks! It would have been nice for them to tell me this before!! Hoping this cycle works out and I won't even have to go!

And hanrh I use women's one a day prenatal. The other brands make me barf or super nauseous!!

Laura defo looks like you have oed! Yay! Tww for you now then - I have everything crossed! Aren't doctors just so frustrating at times!! I can't believe u have to wait so long just to discuss your results!!

I've had a stressful time with my results. Had to ring again on Monday as still had no letter! Managed to persuade them to read out the letter over the phone which confirmed it was a partial molar and I would be contacted by a specialist who would monitor me for 6 months. I was very upset!! However I decided to ring the specialist centre on Tuesday as everything was taking so long. They told me as it was a partial I would only need to be monitored for a month and as long as everything was ok I could start Ttc again then. Feeling relieve but so angry with the hospital for making me wait so long and worry so much!

How is everyone else?

Harnh it's great to know it's just a temporary thing and ull be over it soon that's a big relief and once ur over with it then only start ttc hope the specialist appointment does t take long and u get all the answers as wto when to safely start ttcing m share ur on ur right path and the day is not far when ur in healthy pregnancy club

:lots f hugs n luv!!

hanrh im so glad it was only a partial! can you go back to ttc next cycle or do you have to wait another?

Im feeling good about this month, even though they say its only a 15% chance of the clomid working I didn't ovulate late for the first time in a while and we bd'd a LOT, did not miss even one fertile day! I had a funny pressure/pain during O so I'm hoping thats a good sign of a healthy eggie!

I will probably test starting at 9DPO, keeping m fx!!!

Laura your temps are looking amazing!!! Roll on test day for you! How are you feeling ?

I had my first blood and urine test yesterday. If the results come back normal the. I have to be retested in 4 weeks. If all is normal again I can go back to ttc. So hopefully not this cycle but next I'll be back ttc again!!

I've been having some pretty bad down days lately - I think this limbo area isn't doing my any good!

I hope you are all okay. Michelle - any news over there ?
