That's very exciting Swimmy!! I was looking at your signature today and saw you had put your actual genetic results as 47xyy. I hadn't noticed before and thought id mention my first Angel has 47xxy. They told me this isn't what caused the loss it was t13 however he also had this condition. I was told a child can be born and live with the condition and never actually know as its not dibilitating in any way. I wondered if it was the same as the xyy. Sorry, don't mean to be nosy, just thought I would mention it! . Really hoping for a bfp For you this cycle!

Today I start Clomid. I know a lot of people have weird side effects, but I never have, so I don't mind. I love being able to jump right into feeling like I'm doing something to help right after AF came. Come on.. New Years BFP!

Good luck Michelle! It would be a great way to start the new year! I'm hoping for a birthday BFP! It would be an awesome gift, though stressful until I know if it would be ok or not.

Hanrh - it sounds like it wouldn't be an issue from what I have read but until we talk with the specialist we won't know for sure. My understanding is it just makes men tall (my DH is 6'3) and has short parents, and some small learning disabilities. But doesn't usually cause mc???

My monitor was weird this time and went right from low to peak. Anyone ever have this? Defiantly Oed last night cramping was worse than usual. Fingers crossed!!

Just found out my sister-in-law is having a boy! That makes 5 nephews and 1 niece! And I'm still sitting here like, where is my BFP?

CD11 today, plenty of EWCM and still blinky smileys. DH called the doctors office because we still hadn't heard back regarding his SA. The doc asked him to come in next week to review results. I've got my colposcopy on Jan 27.

abennion - fingers crossed on his SA. A random about that though, if you get an abnormal result try and remember that there are soooo many factors that go into it and it changes all the time. Hoping you guys have no issue though!

Does anyone know if its possible to release eggs at different times? I swore I ovulated last night, but tonight i got right sided cramping again and another +opk this morning. My opk's are never + for more than a few hours. Never have had multiple eggs before so its a new feeling for me.

Could be all of the meds working together. A longer surge because of multiple eggs? I think the rule is you generally O 36 hours after first positive opk. Mine sometimes stay positive a while too.

Just got back from the doctors. DH has high volume in his SA, however he has a 98% morphology. The doctor said we could try naturally, however the chance of having an early miscarriage is high. He put me on clomid for the start of next cycle, to release more eggs so we have a better chance. He's also referred DH to a eurologist, so hopefully we'll be getting some answers. We may just have to skip to IUI, which is about $410 a round here in Canada.

Abennion, I don't know too much about improving sperm morphology, but do you think there is anything he can do with vitamins or giving up things (caffeine, alcohol, etc.) that may help?

It's great you're going on Clomid to help! Some people have some side effects, but I never have, and I hope you don't either! Luckily, it sounds like iui isn't too pricey there. I think my doc said it was over or around $1000 here, so I've always said no.

All that being said.., I hope you get pregnant with a healthy baby this cycle and don't even have to think about the next cycle! Fx!

Michelle- from what I've read last night there isn't much that can be done about it. He already doesn't smoke or drink at all, doesn't wear tight clothes, and tends to keep hot things away from down there. I think we may tried fertilaid for men, and see where that goes, but DH wants me to do some research on it before getting it, in case it's just a farce.

I know it doesn't sound expensive, but we live off of one income, and typically don't have a lot of extra income at the end of the month, so $410 is quite a stretch for us. We're just hoping we can conceive naturally some time soon. I mean, it's already been 7 months without even a single BFP, how much longer could it be? (That's the hopeful in me)

abennion - what is the morphology abnormality? head or tails? my DH's morphology changes a lot but his are always head abnormalities. I noticed his morphology is better when he is taking fertile aid, but it is expensive on ebay I really hope you guys don't end up needing an IUI.

AFM - got my cross hairs today I think i dropped one egg the night of cd14 and the other cd15. guess we will see. idk why i'm just super nervous this cycle. I bet i won't make it to 7dpo before POAS hahaha

I am waiting to O here... Currently just taking the meds. I go to the doc tomorrow to see how my follicles are growing. Fx for a lot of good ones! I have definitely noticed I've been experiencing hot flashes on the Clomid and Follistim this month. Nota huge deal, except when I am sleeping and keep kicking the blankets off!

Michellebelle - those hot flashes on clomid drive me crazy lol mine last sometimes up until cd 10. How many mg are you on this time?? hope you have some lovely mature eggs this time

AFM - on 7dpo and already feeling out. i don't feel at all like i have before when i get bfp so already starting to think about next month and if I'm going to try or take some time off (kind of feel like a drop out if i quit after only 2 months at the specialist lol) going to see the genetic people on the 18th. Feeling pretty nervous about that. Hoping I can shake this holiday blues. Maybe I just need to get out and go hiking.

Swimmy: Yeah, it was a bummer finding out. I was inconsolable for most of the night. The more I looked into it, the more depressed I got. Apparently, not even IUI will help. They've really only been able to see results with an ICSI and IVF combination. Our doc also told us that if we do get pregnant naturally we're more at risk for early on miscarriages.

Pretty sure I O'd yesterday. My temp rise wasn't as high as I would have liked to see it, but Countdown to Pregnancy and Glow have both confirmed O and CL. Just have to wait a few more days for FF to confirm. Looks like my test date will be Christmas Eve though.
