Mrs ttc - looks like you bded on perfect days. If the temp dip indicates the day you oved you bded then and a couple of days before. I would keep going for a few days just to make sure

I can imagine how frustrating that must be Mrs. TTC. I agree with the other ladies though. Few more days of bd to make sure That's one if the biggest reasons I don't temp and believe me I've been tempted. I know it's more accurate but I think I'd drive myself crazy with it.

AFM, 1dpo!! Finally in the TWW! Not getting my hopes up to much though as we were not able to bd as much as I would have liked and not at all on my 1st peak O day on the clearblue digi because of hubby's screwy work schedule. We were able to day before and day after which might have been O day or might have been too late. Ugggg.... More waiting now.

Regarding my temp - it did not go up today it was at 97.81 deg F but no AF yet, I was due yesterday as per my app. Feeling quite nauseous and it might just be acidity with all the anxiety that I am going through!

It's not that formula - I got it at whole foods - don't recall the exact name but it's not that one to you!

Thanks for the response starluck!! I'll definitely BD today anyway, I'm just so bummed my OPK wasn't positive sooner. So weird it's not matching up with my temps. I know my temps are more accurate though. Wish we would have BD Monday too

It's horrible when things don't quite match up and then you end up second guessing yourself about whether you should have BD'd sooner etc.

I've ended up missing a couple of planned days of BD this month because I have been so unwell with something else and it's horrible.

I think as you BD'd yesterday [I think thats what your chart shows?] you would still have an awesome chance of catching the egg and to be sure, keep BD'ing. Sprinkles of baby dust for you!

I saw my GP today and I'm having CD 21 bloods taken next Wednesday, well actually day 20 because no appointments on Thursday but GP said it doesn't matter. Just need my OH to do a semen analysis and then my GP is happy to refer me to a fertility specialist because we've done a lot of tests required without even realising. So that's a big relief!

Yesterday, CD 14, I got a temp dip which usually indicates ovulation for me, but I got a negative OPK on cheapie and high (blinky smiley) on clear bore digital. I was surprised it was negative! But today my temp jumped indicating ovulation has already occurred. And today I got a positive OPK. What in the world? What do you girls think? I'm do worried we missed the egg

I don't have much experience with OPKs (still working through my first order) but I did order cheapies and also the CB ones with empty circle or circle with smiley face inside. Gotta say I prefer the CB ones. I find the lines too difficult to read and I don't think I've ever actually gotten a positive on the cheapies, just close.

so do you test with the cheap ones and then if it looks close to positive, use a more expensive one to double check? am debating whether to get both or just try a cycle with just the cheap ones (mostly because my husband will wonder why we need both)

Loobs, once again joining you on the same day! Taken an OPK but it's only a cheapie and though both lines are equal they are quite faint so going to take another one later. Last time I O'd on CD15 so fingers crossed. Hope you get your positive O sign soon!

Sorry Jumpingo! Fx for September! As for OPKs, my first cycle I used the Dollar Tree's brands and it kept giving me 5 +OPKs in a row so I ditched them and don't use OPKs anymore.

I'm feeling a little dejected because I just can't figure out what is going on with me. It seems like my fertile CM happens well before my temp spike. Like this cycle, my fertile CM happened last week and I'm still waiting for my temp spike. Has anyone else had this happen?

As far as OPKs, for one cycle i used both the cheapies and the CB with the smiley face or no smiley face. I used them together so I could see the relationship between the lines on the cheapies and the smiley face. this cycle i'm sticking to the cheapies because i know what a real positive looks like for me. So, maybe try that for one cycle? that way you can be more confident you are reading the cheapie lines correctly and also save money down the road by not buying the CB ones each month (although hopefully you won't need more opks after next cycle!)

Michellebelle, I have over a week of fertile CM before I O. It gets more copious at O time though. Today I have a ton of EWCM whereas in the days before it was less. You can have a look at my chart. I'm not sure if this is considered "good" or "bad", I choose to remain ignorant and not google it/try to figure out if it's "good" or "bad" - just so I don't stress myself out

AFM, the OPKs are getting darker. I have a ton of EWCM today, so I think O is right around the corner (last cycle I O'd on CD21 and it's CD21 for me today). We'll be BDing every day until CM dries up! I just hope my luteal phase extends a bit to give us a better chance.

Sorry jumpingo. I have heard if you use the ic opks test in the am and pm. I personally have the cbfm and cb opks. Never second guess anything.

Hi Jumpingo, sorry to hear about your AF. Regarding OPK's I use wando one's and order them from amazon they are relatively quite cheap and I do see two lines there though it starts with light and then gets darker in a day or two.

You can order both the cheap one's and the clear blue expensive ones and like you were saying use the cheap one till you see any line and then use the expensive one.

Jumpingo - for the first cycle using them thats what I done, used the cheapies then confirmed with CB when it got close. However, when that happened, I got my smiley face on the CB then the next day both were negative. I was worried I had missed the surge! Last cycle I used them both together, like starluck said, to see the relationship between the 2. The cheapies never got anywhere near positive that cycle, so I've ditched the cheapies and went with the CB this cycle. When I get my smiley I might be temped to use a cheapie to see if I get a positive this time - I sure love to POAS!!
