Ttc #1

Fx for you babydust. ps I love that little happy smiley dancing guy. It makes me smile every time I see his little arms go.

We're not sure where we're moving yet...DH has applied all over. We find out in a few months. Very stressful! PA, VT, or MI most likely. We're heading down PA on Thursday if I'm done with this mc business.

nmpjcp - thanks for the thoughts! I hear you on the tiredness bit, it's hard to stay awake some days in general lol. Also, I love that you lived in South America for awhile, so neat! We lived in the UK for a bit, and also the Caribbean. I love to travel, I'm hoping to go away in the spring somewhere! :)

sunshine - you're moving to the cold states. I'm very tropical. I couldn't stand to live in the cold lol. I like Miami winters. the coldest it ever gets is low 60s F. This year has been too hot though. DH and I are planning a trip to see snow. Never seen it before. Only in movies. We don't get many seasons in FL. It's basically summer and spring all year! I have family up in NY complaining about snow and we're here in the beach wishing for the sun to go away for a bit haha :)

lol the grass is always greener......

I was definitely born in the wrong country. BUT, Canada isn't that bad...at least where I am. We just had snow for the first time this week! :) I'm not a fan, but I've lived in areas of Ontario that were much worse. I'm happy where I am now...weather wise lol

nmpjcp - i hope that fatigue is a good sign!! the weather here in Miami has me drained. rain makes me sleepy. AF just left so I'm in a much better mood now and ready to start TTC again :) what day are you on?

I lived in Ecuador. It was really fun. I miss it actually. Live was simpler and more relaxed there. Plus I was super skinny from all the fresh produce/walking/parasites. Hahaha.

I think I'm 4DPO. Symptoms are really strong right now. At this point they are lingering ovulation symptoms/regular PMS type of stuff since implantation hasn't occcured. I wish my body would just call me up and say... girl, you're pregnant, congrats! Hahhaha.

Sunshine, I've never been to those states. I'm from the south, we get ice, rain, heat. That's all. I love the south overall, but sometimes it gets a little old with the racism type of stuff. My DH and I are interracial. He's white and I'm black. Oh the stories we could tell you. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not. Lol. :dohh:

I am so not being productive at work today.

Oh no!!!! THat is not cool at all. I'm sorry you have bad stories, I wish people would get it together and focus on IMPORTANT things instead of petty, brutal, unecessary and WRONG things. I bet you and your DH are a wonderful couple :) How long have you been together?
I like the south too -- but I am jealous of you girls right now.... it's pretty cold here today.

Can't wait to start TTC with you ladies again. Although, I obviously hope one of you (or all) get your bfp sooner than that!! :) I wonder when I'll be back in the game....

That's great! :) And soon you'll have the cutest little puppy! and baby! lol

Thanks Guys!

mmpjcp & sunshine - Yeah I actually just tested for OV this morning and got my 1st smiley :) YAY! My cycles are 38 days long. So it seems about right. I'm so excited just to finally at least see a smiley. I had thought I messed this month up! But just in case the pains I am feeling were OV pains we BD last night and also used conceive plus. We'll BD tonight and tomorrow too! Keeping my fingers crossed! I'm so grateful for these forums and having others to talk to.

Awesome. Let us know how it goes casey!

How are you feeling sunshine?

I'm doing okay, think I passed everything now. It was a rough morning. I won't bore you with it...but lets just say it was tough, and I saw the babe. That being said, if all goes well, I'm glad I went the natural way this time. The D&C was quicker, easier and less painful, but I feel like the recovery will be quicker with this. It was veryyyy traumatic though. I'm a tough cookie ;) REady to jump back on the horse...... no pun intended? or Maybe pun intended haha..

I'm enjoying a glass of wine right now. Yes, it's way too early. BUT I just had quite a day, so there! Plus, I get a little feisty when I drink wine haha.

Love it. You're awesome! I'll have some wine in your honor later.

I can't believe you're so tough. I'm praying for a quick and healthy recovery period for you.... Hugs.... :hugs:

5pm somewhere ladies!!!!!!!! Ohhh, my mom loves Moscato! I'm a red girl though...

sunshine--sorry you are in so much pain. :nope: I hope this goes quickly for you and you're able to get back on your feet and into the swing of things again. Wish there was more I could do for you as you recover, so you're not facing this alone. :hugs: When do you next go into the doctor?
When and where to are you moving?? That's a big change!

nmpjcp--your puppy is adorable. How fun! Maybe drink a light cup of coffee in the afternoon so you're able to stay awake? :winkwink:

babydust-- bummer about that pain, I hope it's nothing serious and passes soon. Bring on that O day!

casey--welcome! I believe we have all discovered how unpredictable and frustrating our bodies can be. No one functions exactly the same.
It might take a few months to figure out your cycle, though I wish you all the beginner's luck possible!! :dust:

Afm-- I'm on CD 10 today, waiting for O for the 8th time around.

My sister who announced her pregnancy over Christmas is now at 2 months, sending pictures and talking about morning sickness.
When she and her husband came here for Thanksgiving they brought their cat so we gave them our bedroom (we live in a 1 bedroom apartment) so they could contain all their cat stuff and have privacy.

We did the math when they made their announcement and...they conceived on our bed! Apparently we've been missing something that they figured out...? I can't be bitter, though. She's the oldest and they had been trying since last February, on Clomid, etc. Bittersweet. Trying to focus on the positive that I'm going to be an aunt instead of being jealous.

On that note, yet another close friend announced her pregnancy today.

Oh Syd!!!!!!! That's not funny at all. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling knowing that :S try to recalculate the math and make it to when they weren't there? Or else they may try to come back to your bed next time lol. Awww I'm sorry, that's not the news/math you want to hear. So glad you're almost at O day though. Woot woot!!!!

Thanks for the support. We're actually debating going to the ER right now. I'm fighting it pretty hard but DH is afraid I'm losing too much blood. And my pulse was sky high, and I was about to pass out. I'm postponing though, lots of water/sugar cubes and rest. We'll see. It may be a long night.

We aren't sure where we are moving yet!! Find out in a few months. I'm nervous, but mostly to be away from my Family. We are very close. We do have the possibility of staying right where we are though, so we'll see what happens. What will be, will be. Right? :)

I'm so tired guys and my back pain is at an 8. I really hope these are good signs because otherwise AF is going to be a doozy this month. It's rough. Maybe I ovulated before I started using the strips and when I tested it was a second surge? Idk. Either that or I'm experiencing some very strong PMS right now.

Sunshine - wow girlie. Don't suffer too much. Blood loss is a big deal!

Syd - you're in the most enjoyable part about trying to conceive. I'm sorry to hear about your sister making a baby in your bed. But maybe now it's officially been christened a baby-making bed? Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

Yikes. Back pain isn't fun! I wonder why that's happening! When is af due? Don't test too early this month, I always drive myself nuts doing that lol. I do wish I could help with the opk's. Are you finding them helpful so far? Or confusing?

so I have 3 pregnant coworkers and almost all my friends on facebook are pregnant with girls. all i see on my news feed are baby announcements and gender reveals. i'm about to close my account lol. I have to plan the baby showers for my coworkers which is fun, but I want to choke my boss for putting me in charge of that knowing that i'm TTC.

on a plus note. I'm taking a mini vacation with my DH. just the 2 of us - FINALLY! We're going to Orlando for the weekend. we were planning on going to sea world and maybe a water park, but it looks like it will be cold up there so maybe we will end up in disney. The pain I had was from my kidneys. i had a painful infection and it all went away with cranberry juice :) thank God.

I'm looking into finding a new job also. I'm getting a little tired of how they treat me in my office. i love what i do, but it's not worth it if i'm miserable here.. ugh. my husband told me to quit but we have bills to pay and we are trying to save up to buy our first home. i can't afford to do that now. :(

Yes, how are you feeling Sunshine?

My period is due in one week.... these symptoms started on Saturday night (the day of my supposed ovulation) and have progressively changed/gotten worse.

The testing strips are helpful except I think maybe I started them too late. I thought I had ovulated on January 5 just based on CM and how I was feeling, but I didn't start testing until January 7 because that's when I got my strips. I got a positive (both of the lines looked the same) on January 10th. That's the picture I showed you guys. But I've heard you can have more than one surge of LH. Idk. I'm grasping at straws. I know I'm out this month. How I feel right now, is how I feel when I'm having really bad PMS which means this AF will be terrible.

I hope you're successful in finding a new job babydust! Co-workers can make all the difference in how we feel AND job performance.
