Syd - good luck with the OPKs. you mentioned my sentiments exactly. it's great to see a positive even if it is on an OPK.

Sunshine - yay for the trip to Florida, but boooooo on the other! I can't believe it girl. You're so strong though.

AFM - still having back pain, idk what to do about it. my other symptoms are still there and hunger has joined the club. I've been praying for a happy healthy baby and for positive mood. I really want to test again today using a FRER test. But I hate to waste it. So I guess I'll wait until Wednesday since according to my ovulation time I'm still not even 10DPO because I ovulated late.

Nmpjcp you're SO close to testing!!!! I agree, save that first response. Tomorrow is Wednesday so you're almost there!! So exciting. Not sure about the back pain....maybe you could ask your dr? I know how frustrating and painful back pain is

Is anyone else semi worried about age? I'm turning 29 in a few months. I know that's still young and I have lots of time, but we started trying when I was 28. It's taken a year and I've only had mcs. I wanted 3 kids, 2 close and then one that was a lot younger, and now I'm just thinking about how long that will take to do, if I'm lucky and get my one to start.

I told my friend I was worried and she kinda laughed. 28/29 is nothing to be worried about I know, it's just more how many I'd like to have I guess. But at this rate if I can even get my one, that would be enough!

I'm not worried about my age. I'll be 27 in three weeks. I don't think you have anything to worry about either. I'm more worried about other things besides age that could keep me from conceiving. Tomorrow I will be testing. I'll also be 11DPO tomorrow instead of 14DPO, so I'm a little worried about that. We will see!

Do you guys think an IC would give me accurate results tomorrow, or should I just go ahead and use one of my FRER? I have a couple of ClearBlue Digitals as well, I don't like using those because NO or NOT PREGNANT is a little harsh...

To be honest I've only ever used the cheap tests and then one FRER. So I can't say for sure. BUT I know those blue dye ones are awful and people complain about them. If you only have one FRER I would use it on 12dpo, if you're sure that's 12 days.

I would think any time between now (maybe) and 14dpo you should be fine with FRER. When I used it and got bfp it was super faint. I was also 4 days late. So I don't know when Implantation happened. So it's better to wait as long as you possible, sanely can lol.

Oh and you're right, we're young. I just meant for having more than one.

Oh for having more than one.... well I'm not worried. I already have a step-daughter and my husband and I are planning on having two babies. Hopefully one of each or two boys. Hehe. We have enough girls in my family already. I told him if this one takes a long time, after he/she is born, we will just not use any protection and see what happens (which is a lie because I know too much about my body at this point to not know what's going on). He's convinced that we shouldn't make our kids go to high school together, but I don't want a 4 year gap. Maybe 2.

OAN - I'm going to be using OPKs again next cycle if I don't get my BFP this week, and if my luteal phase is short again. The next cycle I'm going to ask my dr about progesterone and try Preseed as well.

What do you guys thing about the chinese gender calendar? It says I'd have a boy this month. Supposedly it's 75% correct.

Also, my cousin is pregnant, and she got a blood test for trisomy 21 and the Y chromosome and they were able to tell her it's a GIRL because there aren't any Y chromosome present. Isn't that cool?? I'm trying hard not to be jealous.

As for the Chinese gender calendar I believe it. I looked up a bunch of people and it was right for all of them!!!! Crazy! Last time it told me boy. This time if I hypothetically get pregnant in March it says girl. Yay!!!! I'm not holding my breath but I still love it.

I would def ask hour doctor about stuff! But you're not out yet girl!! But I also like to have a plan B, it helps me deal with things.

How old is your step daughter? That's so cool!! I also think it's easy to say now, but I also don't plan on preventing it again after birth. I'm learning that whatever happens, happens. Isn't that good? lol

I'm on O week. buying pre-seed today and using opk. hoping i get this thing right. been having headaches for a few days also. i think it could be my vision.

about the age thing, I understand completely. I will be 25 in may and I wanted to start having kids when I was 22 but i wanted to be married first. I got married at 23 and DH and I thought about waiting a while to enjoy our marriage first, but then we obviously changed our minds lol. we both love kids. we want to be able to enjoy them while we are still young and full of energy!

We're all young!! DH and I have been together for 8.5 years, married for 5 this June. I literally woke up one day an decided it was time. It was last April and it just hit me. Weird. DH is older than me so he's ready but we've had a crazy few years. Living apart. Med school. Distance. So it just seemed it was now or never lol. We went for it and it happened first try. But we all know what happened next..... We just wanted to travel and enjoy living our life. I'm glad we did

This may sounds really TMI, but have either of your guys ever had your tailbone or labia hurt during PMS or when you had a BFP?

Hmmm, no I can't say I did. But let's just say that I'm a lucky one who never gets PMS. When I was young DH used to tease me and say my PMS was worrying that I was pregnant (oh the irony). I also don't have symptoms when I get my bfp. Slight changes maybe with cm. but nothing else.

Google it. I'm obsessed lol.

OMG YES! my tailbone hurt so much with AF this month. first time that ever happened to me. I couldn't even sit. It was so uncomfortable. One of my pregnant co-workers always complains about that too.

on another note - i bought preseed yesterday in the afternoon. I will be trying it out this week hoping for better results!

LOL. PMS is just the gift that keeps on giving. I honestly never really had it much either. My period would be like a ninja that sneaked up on me. Now I have a miserable time from ovulation to AF, and don't know why. Maybe because my body is like hahah, you're trying to have a baby, so I'm gonna make your life miserable with 1,000,000 symptoms and intermittent pelvic pain and see how long it take you to go completely insane.

Today is the big day ladies! AF is supposed to come today. I'm also 11DPO according to my OPK kit. My symptoms are starting to go away a little, so sadly, it feels like she's coming.

But I'm trying to be positive! I don't think I'll test until tomorrow morning IF she stays away.

babydust, I'm so curious to see if all the pre-seed is worth it or if it actually works.

Nmpjcp, congrats on the new furniture! Some bedroom furniture is one of the many things we are saving for, our room still feels very college-dorm-room-esque. How is your back pain? You were expecting AF today, right? Did she show or did you TEST?! Hoping the latter!

I got another positive OPK yesterday morning, darker than the one on Monday. Everything else seems to match for this being my "fertile period." Have been BDing regularly so we'll see what happens! Do you ladies know much about OPKs? Does LH drop off again after surging or does it stay high? Need to do some research...

I'm not too worried about age, I'm 23 and DH is 21, but we want a bunch of kids. Ha! I start my new job officially on Monday. Long story, but the day I thought was my first day turned out to be just one day of training. I'm looking forward to the structure and distraction.

I'm going to test in the morning if she doesn't come today since I'm technically 11DPO-ish.

For the OPK's it drops off after your surge. If I were you, now that it's getting darker, I would test once in the morning and once at night, and them go back to once per day after you see it starting to lighten again. Also, remember that the positive test means you will be ovulating in the next 12-36 hours (according to my test instructions).

Well you never know nmpjcp our bodies are whacko lol. So test tomorrow and let us know I was 4 days late for af before I even got a super faint bfp.

Ahhhh Florida. I am so looking forward to it! We leave Monday for 11 days. Sadly DH can't get the time off, so it's my parents and nephew and myself! It will be great to relax. Hoping to take DH away to a resort in April for both my birthday and his hard work. He's earned a break as well. So fingers crossed!

My d&c is so soon and I'm STARVING. I wish it would hurry up. I've done some research today about af after d&c. Last time it took 6 weeks to come back. But this time I've lost the majority of everything last week and my hcg level has already dropped a ton so I'm hoping it doesn't take the full 6 weeks this time. That's my biggest hope. I still have a chance for 2015 baby. I have hope. As long as I get af before March 25, there's a chance!!!!

I need another coffee. Or do I? Lol

syd - i'm actually going to wait until i get my real estate license so I can be a licensed assistant and eventually start working as an agent on my own. I love real estate. i want to stay in this field. btw i had a friend tell me that when she got her BFP the OPKs were also showing positive. that's how she found out. she used an opk on an off day and it said positive so she used HPT and got her official bfp!

nmpjcp - i'm hoping the preseed works! i will let you know if i get any unusual syptoms after i O week is over.

sunshine - i'm so glad you're getting away from it all. have you been to orlando before?

AFM - i'm an emotional wreck today. I got my wedding video last night. i hadn't picked it up. my videographer added a tribute to my dad and posted it on youtube and i've been crying since i saw it last night. i can't seem to stop watching the video. all my coworkers are just kinda letting me cry and mope around which is great. i don't really feel like dealing with them today. i just want to go home already.
