Just did another OPK and the test line was much lighter than the control line! Which means that I O'd either Monday or yesterday and we nailed it! Will expect a temp shift tomorrow.

AF still hasn't come, but she usually comes early afternoon. No pains or anything though. My boobs started hurting again so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Maybe I can take an OPK test. Lol. That way I won't waste my FRER. I have tons of OPK test strips.

You guys I got my BFP! I got up for my customary bathroom break at like 5 am, and I was like I guess I'll test. I peed and set the test aside because I just knew it would be a BFN and when I turned it over I almost fainted. I took three different tests to make sure. All of them showed within 1.5 minutes or less. I'm so excited.

My DH knows my period was supposed to start yesterday, so I kinda told him that AF got me this month when he asked me after I came back from the bathroom because I wanted to take more tests and make sure PLUS I want to surprise him at date night tomorrow night. I really wish I was further along because my mother-in-law's birthday is Saturday and this would be the very best gift in the world for her.

AGHHHHHHH!!!! I'm about to have a heart attack. I feel so very blessed right now. Also, the chinese gender thing predicts a boy! Ok, now I'm just rambling. I attached a picture below. I'll do a DPO symptom thingie later when I can think straight.

nmpjcp CONGRATS!!! I am so very excited for you!!! How are you going to tell you DH? I feel like I'm the one that got the BFP. lol the only time I honestly don't get depressed is when I hear you guys tell me you got your BFP. I guess since we know each others struggles it makes me happy to hear the news.

I am seriously SOOOOOOO happy for you. I agree with babysdust. Despite the struggles we all have, I'm so happy when one of you gets a bfp because we know how hard it is. And we've been there for each other now for almost 4 months!!!


ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! Did you tell him? How are you going to? I was so mot romantic when I did lol. DH was totally part of the process and I tell him everything lol. I wish I could have kept it a secret. Oh well! I can't wait to hear what you do. You'll be on cloud 9 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys. I was gone to a conference this morning, but I'm back at work now. I told my DH over lunch today. He's off so he came to eat with me. I told him I had an early Valentine's Day gift and he opened it and I had wrapped the tests with a tiny little teddy bear and a onsie that says crawl. walk. golf. HE DIDN'T EVEN GET IT. He's so used to pregnancy stuff that he was like yay more pregnancy stuff for next cycle, so I asked him what I said and he said WONFO... I was like what does the BLUE TEST SAY. Then he finally got it and was all flustered and stuff. It was very cute. Almost started crying. We went to lunch after and he kept dropping stuff and losing his train of thought. Lol. It was very adorable.

He wants to tell his mom for her birthday this weekend, but I'm not sure. I think we should wait until I go to the doctor and get an ultrasound first.

I want to thank you guys so much for your support and continued support. I seriously would have imploded without you. 1 down 3 to go!

Hey Ladies, so we've decided to tell his mom tomorrow since it's her birthday. I really don't want to tell anyone else until after the first appointment, so it will just be her.

The rest of the immediate family included my parents will be told after our first appointment on Feb 23 because I want to make sure everything is ok and also have something to show them. It's literally only a month away.

I made her a birthday IOU certificate that I'm going to put in her birthday card tomorrow, it says IOU one grandbaby - redeemable October 2015. It will probably be September though because those due date calculators either say 10-1 or 10-3.

AFM - I feel crampy and full all the time, but all the test of the symptoms are gone. I hope that's a good sign. Well, except these huge boobs. I love them. I've always had a small chest so this is the best part so far. Lol.

Syd - have you tested yet?
babydust - hopefully the pre-seed works!

Nmpjcp that sounds like a great plan. She will be so excited! Yah the bigger chest was a bonus for sure haha. Hope all other symptoms stay away. I am seriously so happy for you. Even with my own heartbreak, I know how long you waited and the roller coaster it's been. So I am beyond thrilled for you!! So exciting

Thanks for the journal love. Afm I'm doing okay. I've been a bit of a recluse lately (so not like me) I'm debating whether to go to my parents tomorrow or stay over at a friends half way. It could be a good distraction, wine night etc. but they aren't the most emotional, or understanding friends. I'm worried I'll be sensitive to their awkwardness and it wil make me feel worse. I literally go back and forth about it. DH is going to be with his friends that night or else I'd just stay home with him. I'm so torn.

I love the idea of the IOU birthday card for your MIL!! That's very creative. Is this the first grandbaby?

I'm still not sure if/when I actually O'd. Thought the OPKs narrowed it down but have yet to see a significant BBT shift. I have a 17 day LP so won't be testing until the week of/before Valentine's Day.

I hate having long cycles because that means fewer chances and more waiting. DH's birthday is the last week of Feb though, so hopefully he gets a BFP for a present!

Fingers crossed for you Syd! that would be lovely. I know it's tricky with long cycles, but just recording your data and hopefully you'll notice something. Are you doing it at the same time every day?
