TTC #2, o'ing mid-January, first cycle!

I definitely had implantation cramps with both for the first few weeks....first clue for me to test and !!! Yay cramps!

I still have about 1.5 weeks til I ovulate still....

I had period like cramps through half of first trimester with dd. But I can't remember when they started to compare this too. I should go back into the testing forums from when I had her and see what symptoms I had and when lol

You're right maybe it's a good sign! I will try to stay hopeful...everything makes me nervous

It's hard not to let everything make you feel nervous! I don't try and think about symptoms and pains and whatnot because I know your mind can play tricks on you. But the fact that the cramps have been consistent is what makes me think maybe it's something? and I'm really hoping it's something good!

Hi :wave: we are TTC#2 and this is our first cycle of trying currently CD13 (28 day cycles) so O is any day now
TTC#1 was so different as I had been WTT for 3 years so I charted and then TTC I was charting with BBT and OPK - this time as I think I know my cycles quite well I am just going on guess work based on TTC#1 and CM so fingers crossed - IF it starts to take a while I might end up OPKing again we will see

My baby boy is one on 3rd February (wow this year has gone fast) and we want them to be close in age which is why we are TTC#2 now

I am finding TTC#2 quite lonely and hard to know where I belong on BnB other than in my journal as TTC forums seems to be more TTC#1 and a lot of my old BnB buddies are not on here anymore or are still TTC#1 so I feel bad about talking about TTC#2 in my journal too much

Hi twag! I thinks We were in a TTC forum together for number 1 back in jan 2013! I agree with you, it's a totally different feeling this time around. Stay with our group though! We are all around the same timeframe this month. I'm currently on CD17 so not far ahead of you. I like following along with others TTC and seeing their successes I've never temped and charted but I'd imagine it's a lot more work and can be a bit overwhelming keeping up with it. Sounds like you kno your cycles pretty well enough and can just bd and wait it out. Good luck!!

Mrs_Bump, not TMI at all. I don't think there's any such thing as TMI in the TTC world, if I'm honest! I've been having the same as you the last day or so. Mine isn't EWCM either; it goes from being lotion-y to just really wet. No idea what it is, but it's kind of annoying! What is the sensitivity of the superdrug tests, do you know? Have you tested recently?

LiteBRIGHT, I find that some months, I'm crampy right after 'o and others I'm not. When I was very early pregnant with my son, I had no idea because I had AF type cramps basically from the middle of my cycle (I was on the pill, so wasn't supposed to be ovulating). And since I've gotten my cycles back PP... November I had post o-cramps, December I didn't. This month I haven't either, so far. Who knows! I know it's too early to count myself out yet; I think I'm just trying to set myself up for af's arrival by looking at the positives to getting a BFP later. Fx you get one this month so you get your October baby!

Heather, hope you 'o soon! Do you use OPK's to know when you're ovulating, or just go by CM, CP etc?

Hi, Twag. Welcome! Happy almost-birthday to your son! I understand you on the age gap thing. We decided to start trying when Kai is so young because I have a feeling it's going to take us awhile (don't know why) and I want a 15-18 month age gap. And it is hard knowing where to fit in when TTC#2, especially when my LO is still so young. I'm afraid people will think I'm being greedy, wanting another so soon. But I'm so grateful for my son, and while I'd be sad if I never had any more, I do feel so lucky to have gotten him. Anyway, what LiteBRIGHT said, hang with us! Sounds like we're all in the same boat!

Happy Monday everyone! My cramping has stopped today. I'm sure it's just ovulation related. Since we are on the subject of tmi and cm, I've actually been kind of dry down there. Still think it's too early to symptom spot or anything so not worried about it.
Justplay I don't think there's anything wrong with starting early, like you said, you never know how long it'll take. My brother and I are 14 months apart and it worked out well for my mom.
Wish the days would go a bit faster!!

Okay ladies! EWCM a plenty today and what im guessing is O pains. (I've always cramped BEFORE O) OH is coming home for lunch. Looks like little miss gets to watch cartoons for a bit today lol!

I wasn't expecting to even ovulate the first month off the pill! Should I be using opks as well?

Twag, I think I remember you from ttc #1.
Superdrug tests are from like 4 days before. I don't intend to test again until after af is due though, so like 22nd or 23rd. I somehow don't think I am pregnant so chances are it'll be af and no test.
It's nice to have a group trying for #2. Glad I'm not the only one with random wetness.

That's true! My cramps have passed how are you feeling? I woke up with sore boobs but I always have that about 1 week or so before af so I'm not reading into it too much lol

Misslatino hey! This is my first time using opks , If you know your body and have pretty regular periods it gets easier to pin point! If you wanna know for sure though yeah opks help! Good luck!

This is actually more of a pulling feeling than cramps. its pretty annoying....

I bought some opks and took one and it was negative. Not sure but don't they tell you before you ovulate?

When ttc #1 I went based on cm. Guess I'll keep BDing until this EWCM disappears. If we miss this go it won't be too disappointing

I think that's my biggest worry! When ttc #1 I went a little crazy. I was taking geritol and baby aspirin trying just about anything anyone said that worked. This go round I did buy some preseed and had hubby get a pack of opks on the way home but I'm not expecting to deal with the discouragement of bfns like I did last time. I want my child to have a sibling but I would also be happy with just her

Skypink...nothing much yet to report for me. Bding will start this saturday. I should O sometime next week!! Idk if I should be excited or not. I mean the last 2 times we did our bd "schedule" I got pg...and well do that same "schedule" this time too....so part of me is exciting saying this is my month!! Then reality hits and I think I doubt ill be lucky enough again for 1st month ttc success. But ive also learned nothing is a guarantee in life and have this fear ill never get pg again!!! Have I mentioned how much I HATE the ttc process?????? Its miserable for me. I feel anxious and impatient and feel like im losing time. Dumb I know. If I just had God tell me ahead of time how many kids and when....this whole ttc process would be more fun. Even if I was told it wouldnt happen for another 6 months, at least I would know!

Can someone look at these OPKS and tell me if they are positive. I was due to O on the 18th but if had a terrible cold that I'm just getting better from. First time using OPKS so I'm unsure of whether I have a positive or not is from the 18th bottom is from the 19th.

Leah, I'd say the top one looks darker but I'm no expert.
Cd 30 today and full of cold, feel awful. Ff has moved my cross hairs to cd19. I have never o ed that late in my life. Think I will move testing to 23rd though, just to cover. Last two,cycles have been 26 and 28 days but prior to that I was very regular on 30 days. Of course my cycles play up when I'm about to try to ttc. It's really made me loose confidence in my ability to read my body.

I would say those OPK are looking like they are positive tbh I never really got a good positive OPK but temping I always knew I had O'd!!

SO CD13 today is CD14 and is on the cards for tonight! We are using preseed (just because we have it from TTC#1 and it worked last time) I should O anyday now and we have EWCM so looking like timing wise we are ok
I do not plan on testing until AF is late! I am not going crazy about this TTC like #1 (well unless it starts to take months that is )
