WTT for #1 thread

I'm a single mum of a kid with disabilities, who is getting a lot of intervention. I love my two dogs and a cat. I've had seven miscarriages. I want to stay single and get pregnant with donor sperm. I've raised my son for over five years on my own, and he likes it lol. And so do I. He can be very challenging but very loving at times, so it's worth it. I need to loose 12 stone(164lbs) to fight my PCOS and natural idleness.

Hi im chloe im 25 and married my other half on the 17th september 2011 been together 6 and a half years. Plan to make babies march 2012. Exciting!!!

hi there! this is my first post! i am excited to be a part of BnB.

i'm 32 and have been with my DH for 12 years, married for a little over 4. we will start TTC in January and i can't wait. i was on the pill for 10 years and went off of it a few months after we got married, but we have been waiting to save up a little more money and i was dealing with some health problems (i have struggled with an eating disorder for years, but am doing much better now). i can't wait to have a little one to love and take care of!

I can't remember if I posted on here  Oh well!

I'm Olivia and I'm 22 years old. DH and I have been married for 3 years. I recently caught baby fever :baby::baby::baby: :haha: so babies are all I can think about lately! We're planning on TTC in a couple years (or at least until DH is ready, hoping it will be sooner! :winkwink:)

This thread makes me feel better. :) Lots of us are waiting with no set TTC date in mind. Yesterday, I texted DH asking how his day was going and - half joking - wrote "PS - What about making babies in Jan?" and he didn't reply. :( He hasn't mentioned it.

I don't mind waiting, but so much is up in the air right now, we can't set a definite month to start TTC... so ultimately, we can't start taking pre-natals three months before, because we don't know when we're going to start! Plus, he needs to stop smoking. I think we'll probably have a big talk in the new year, but it's just so frustrating right now, being in limbo. :(

I should have posted this in my journal really! I might copy and paste. :haha:

My name is Jenna and I am 24--25 in January. I haven't been on the site very long, so I don't really know anyone on here. I've been with my OH since June 2009 and we tied the knot on July 16, 2011! :hugs:

We talked about TTC before we got married and my DH wants to wait until I graduate from college in May 2013... Ordinarily, I'd go along with that date because it makes sense, but DH and I found out his testosterone is much lower than is normal for a 27 year old man. This concerns me and I don't want to wait to try until 2013 and then not be able to get pregnant.

I come from a family of four children and I loved growing up with 3 siblings. I would love to have four kids, but I don't want to wait until I'm 30 to start, so I'm kinda in a pickle...

Good luck to all the ladies in the forum!!!

:happydance: So glad to meet you all!!

Im Megan and been on the site a while, more of a lurker really!

WTT til OH gives the go ahead...whenever that will be so probably in it for the long haul!

Hey, I'm Kassie & I'm 22 in January (which is when we are going to start TTC)
My boyfriend an I live in Townsville, Queensland (Australia) with our 2 cats :)

Hello! I'm Mere - I'm 27 and my OH is 25. We live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where we both grew up. We each moved away for college, but when we were both back in the area and working for the same newspaper, we reconnected over some shared geeky interests and went head over heels for each other, and two years later, we're married :D

OH has been saying since before we got married that he's ready for babies, which has been SUPER exciting - and now that we've tied the knot and are thinking about it for real, he's said "it's up to you whenever you want to start trying." In a way, I feel super lucky that he's feeling ready, but there's still a lot of things we both want to get sorted out before we seriously start trying.

We work 1.5 hours away from each other and travel in opposite directions every day, which has made trying to find a place to live hard. We live with my Mom right now (which puts a bit of a damper on babymaking activities, though we're glad we still have newlywed excitement getting us past that a lot!), but the area in between our work towns has sooooo few places to rent. My grandmother wants to give us her house in a few years, which is wonderful, so we know we'll have somewhere to live when we do have LOs, but if we want to start planning for #1, we definitely want to have at least a little place of our own to rent first!

I also want to lose about 30-50 pounds before we start trying, and we want to take a little time for "just us". With all those things put together, I've been thinking that August 2012 might be the month we start TTC - it's also the month my prescription for my bcp runs out, so I hope things smooth out over the next 8 months so we can start trying!

Hi all
I am so happy to have found bnb. I'm cathbetty, aged 30, living with OH (who is 40) in the UK. In my twenties I was completely ambivalent about having babies and I didn't really think about it. Suddently, 6 months after I turned thirty, wham- I was hit by a big dose of broodiness, it came out of the blue and now I can't think of anything else  So I'm glad to find this forum and find out I'm not the only one. I can relate to so many of your stories- not wanting to wait, worrying about waiting too long etc
The reason I am WTT is because of my OH :nope: who is not in the best frame of mind about having a baby right now. He wants to wait at least two years, by which time I will be 32- 33 :nope: oh dear. So I am trying to talk him round to trying sooner. I even bought him a book to read called: 'the reluctant father's club'- he is actually reading it and enjoying it- amazing!
Anyway I look forward to getting to know some of you and hearing about your journies- good luck to all.

I'm Cjean. I'm 22 years old, and a college senior.
I'm in the process of thinking I may be pregnant, even though I'm on the pill.
I don't find out for another week (when my period should come)
New to this, just want advice and someone who has similar experiences maybe?

Hi everyone!

I am brand new to B&B and WTT in October 2012, so excited to finally have a date! I am 24 and engaged and have been with my finacee for 4 years but we have known each other since we were 9. we went to the same grade school and lived down the road from each other for most of our childhood. We are getting married this spring, eloping actually lol. Our plan is to travel up to Montreal for a romantic long weekend and tie the knot there!

We have 2 kitties- one giant fat cat and a little stray kitten we found in our neighbourhood (she is a new addition to our family) and we have a 2 year old border collie who thinks she is a human baby :haha:

I work as an employment advisor and OH is a public policy research assistant for a solar energy company.

hope talking to other WWT ladies will help make the wait less difficult!:flower:

Hi all,

i live in Essex UK, im getting married in August 2012.
im currently on the implant but we are planning to have this removed in June/July time so we can ttc.

so until then im just a sitting duck.
as im on the implanon i dont have periods, and i also have pcos with insulin resistance im also overweight. i have had a gastric band operation that has failed and does not work.. on my own iv been dieting and have only managed to shift 2 stone since march

Heey everyone :D

I'm Amber, I'm 20, been married 3 years and with DH for 5 and a half.

WTT til April, would ideally like it to be sooner but really don't want to cut in on my nephew's first birthday (which will be May). Main worry is that we live in a one bedroom flat, but for various reasons which I won't bore you with, I don't want to wait too long to start TTC. I'm aware it'll be a squeeze but we'll manage somehow :D

Hey im Keri

We are both 24, been together for 8 years. ( not married spent our wedding fund money on a house ). we have been living together for 3 years. wtt next April so i can fit into my bridesmaid dress. I live in central scotland (uk)

My name is MistyDawn, I am 21 years old, been married almost 2 years.

WTT for number one (after our daughter grew wings and flew away) until April/May (depending on the length), but possibly longer, if I end up going back on deployment right after! So my time is really up in the air, but FX I am only waiting until April/May!
Both my husband is I are in the Marine Corps and stationed out in Hawaii. Both of us getting stationed out to North Carolina hopefully a few months after his return next year!
Nice to meet you all :)

Hi everyone! Well I have been a lurker on here for quite some time and have finally decided to jump on the boards.

My name is Claire, I'm 32, been with my husband for 10 years and married for 8 weeks  finally we can start thinking about having our first baby.

We are wtt until early next year as hubby was recently made redundant, he has now found a new job and starts in January. We have however decided to stop bcp and I am learning how to chart (only started yesterday really). If I had known the difference I would feel not using bcp I think we both would have stopped it some time ago!

Looking forward to getting to know fellow wtt'ers
