Hi I'm new to the site!

I'm 21 and my partner is 21 in feb 2012. We're TTC this christmas, in hopes for the perfect start to a new year. New year 2012 will be 2 years since I conceived my first (which i sadly lost )

I live in nwales my oh is ex army and we will have been together 3 years July coming.
I'm loseing my hearing predominantly in my right ear. I love to crochet and I have just started to tech myself how to needle felt.
I work in a nurseing home as a care provider.
Me and my oh have been liveing with my parents just untill we got on our feet abit more and in January we will finally be moving into our own place.
I'm one very broody 20 something but I'm scared about not being able to have babies due to family history of pcos and I think I might be the same blood group as my mum which worked againgst her.
I'm so wanting to have kids and I'm looking at going to uni to retrade by doing a nurseing degree which I know I can still do if I have babies I would just have to take a year out. My oh is just waiting to hear from a job application that would see us right so fingers crossed.
Erm I don't know what else to say other the hiya lol

I am so glad to have found BnB and a forum for others that are WTT. I feel like I have no one to relate to on this subject. My DH and I have been married for over 2 years and together for 5. We're 23 and 24 years old. He is currently serving in the Air Force and I am getting my master's in speech pathology and should be graduating in May. We are WTT because of finances and career plans. We want to have a hefty nest egg before we start a family. My DH is finishing his bachelor's degree and considering commissioning as an officer through a program which would require him to separate from the Air Force, finish school, then be commissioned which probably wouldn't be completed until probably 2015-2016. I would be the only steady income during that period. We are both ready for children and it is killing us to wait. I am currently on the pill, but have a couple of pregnancy scares due to some other medication I am on. I am so glad to find this forum to relate to others who are WTT!

Hi! I am new here. My name is Sara DH and I recently decided we are ready to try so we looked at the calender and decided we would start trying in March-ish. But "practicing" until then I am 22 and DH is 24. I recently graduated with my BS and own my own business where I work from home, DH works an 8-6ish job. We recently moved across the country from MO to NC so that is a big step to overcome and it has really brought us much closer.

I LOVE this form, I am addicted to all forms online so when TTC/having a baby/raising a child it will be no different!

Hi all. Just joined forum today. I am waiting to concieve, aiming for March 2012. Me and hubby (been married 2 years) live in Cyprus so got to TRY and plan baby around the hot summers!!!! I am 32 and hubby is 33. Just ordered 3 packets of his and her pregnacare tablets, so roll on January. Got a holiday in Florida next week, so when we get back the countdown really starts.

Hope to hear from you especially peeps trying at the same time.

I was on the TTC thread and then we are moving to WTT because we think our families will be happier if we started trying after we get married and my periods have been weird lately so I'm going back on birth control to hopefully get them back to being regular and also I am trying to get my body healthier before we start trying again.

My fiance Nick and I have been on and off for 2 years then we broke up for a year then got back together and ever since we have been together for a year and a half without breaking up (that's when he proposed to me). We are getting married June 16th.

Last year we adopted a 3 year old cat named Phoebe, she is the best cat ever and we love her to death. I also have a dog whom my mother has taken over because Nick is very allergic to dogs.

We live in Michigan, United States. I like to sew, practice cooking, going on Facebook, and reading.

I just quit my job at McDonalds because I was working there for 2 years and wanted to go into management and they kept putting me off even though everyone said I would be a great manager and I have found a job helping an elderly woman with chores, running errands, etc.

I am currently not in college but will be taking fall classes in 2012 for sign language and possibly nursing (not sure about that yet).

Nick and myself are very excited to have kids and start our own family and so is both of our families (our mothers always talk about it).

I'm Trixiebell, I'm 28 and Hubby is 29 (soon to be 30) we have been together 10 years and got married in September 2010.
We were trying from January 2011 until June/July until I found out I had a polyp and fibroid in my womb, I had an operation to remove it in October and was told that everything was healthy Since we found out we decided to take a break from trying until July 2012. This year!!!

Hi! I'm Kristin. I run the WTT List in this section.

I am a 22 year old music major. I am graduating with my AS in Music then taking a semester off to practice and sort my life out a little before I go for my BS in Music Education.

I've officially been with my awesome boyfriend since Nov 2010. He's also a musician. HE majors in Sound Recording Technology at my college of choice (So jealous!) We're both really family-oriented and unofficially (for now) plan on settling down after we both have our 4-year degrees. I can't wait!

I've been WTT my whole life. I just came off the Pill because they make me crazy and extremely nauseous no matter which one they put me on. I took it for pain management. I'm nervous about the pain coming back but I am loving having my body back. I cannot wait to start my own little family some day!

ETA--I'm a cloth diaper, home water birth, breastfeeding, attachment parenting hopeful.

I have had the same caring for elderly ladies and cleaning jobs too, just thought I'd mention it he he, it tickled me

I'm 21 this year. OH is 30 and we have been together for 2 And a half years. We own our own home, with a good income as we both have pretty good jobs. We are WTT because I'm still doing my masters degree at university. It's only part time but I know I need to complete it.

Hi All!

I'm Mary, 22 and and partner is 29 (he's 30 on Thursday and isn't best pleased about it). I just qualified as a nurse in September. I should hopefully be starting my new job (Oncology) later this month, maybe early feb. Partner is working in a print company.

We are WTT as we both want to be settled in our jobs and saved a bit money before having a baby.

If things go well, it'll be September this year! Physically and mentally, I think we are both ready; we are in pretty good health and both love the idea of raising kids. Plus James' mum is super excited at being a grandma. I come from a very large family so I think that has had an influence.

It really doesnt help when I watch One Born Every Minute. Makes me impatient for September!

I'm 22, OH is 29. We have been together for 2.5 years. Planning on TTC at the end of this year when hopefully we will be married. We bought a beautiful house in a wonderful area and will be moving in at the end of this month!
I am currently unemployed after leaving my job at the end of last month. I have a degree which i got in the summer of 2010.

I'm 20 and my OH is 19, we've been in a loving committed relationship since we were both 15 years old I'm currently in my 2nd year of an education studies degree, hoping to be a fully qualified teacher in three years time. OH is an electrical engineer hoping to become a commissioner.

We both live with our own parents while we save up enough to put a deposit on a house (which is hard when i'm on a students loan, and also working 12 hours a week - in a nursery , broody central! - to pay for train fares when i commute to uni)

Realistically I'd think it would be 4 or 5 years before we TTC although we've never discussed it Just waiting around now...

I've been loving reading all of your posts on the WTT #1 board!

My husband and I are WTT but we haven't quite decided on a date. DH is 24 and I am 23 for another week! Our original plan was to TTC in August 2012, but hubby is thinking about going back to school and would have to quit his job to do so. He wants to go to nursing school, so it would be a 2 year commitment. We'll just have to see! Neither of us want to wait that long, but it might be necessary if he goes back to school.

I just graduated from law school in spring 2011, but I never really wanted to practice and have decided to pursue my original dream of teaching. I now teach middle school and I love it!

We own our own home, but it's only a 2 bedroom and I feel like we will be crammed in here with a baby, so we'd sort of like to wait until we can afford a bigger house, even if we don't decide to move right away when we have the baby.

I'm Erica, I've been married to a wonderful man since October 16th,2010. We are both 24. Planning on starting to TTC in October after our birthdays and anniversary.

We both work full time in corporate security. I have a degree in Veterinary Assisting and have my aestheticians license.

We live in an apartment in Canada along with our two cats, two rats and kingsnake. We have no desire to own a home anytime in the near to distant future but we might be upgrading to a rental house sometime in the next year or two.

I don't think I actually introduced myself in here (or at least I can't find it!). I'm Karen. I'm 31 and live in Dorset, UK. I'm American, but I met my husband (Tim), who is English, when we were both working in India 3.5 years ago. So now we live here. We've been married since September 2011 (4 months now! time has gone fast already). I'm a doctoral student at the University of California in the U.S., but I do all my research in England now so I can be with him. I study Medical Sociology, so basically the social and behavioral aspects of health, medicine and science, and a lot of what I do is focused on HIV/AIDS both here and overseas. DH works for a software company that develops digital sales programs mainly for the outdoor industry (like climbing gear, camping supply companies).

I really like running/trekking/camping (anything outside really), reading, cooking (especially Asian and vegetarian stuff), and traveling. We don't have any pets, but I grew up with horses, so we'd eventually like to have a dog and some horses once we buy a house once day. Until then, we're pretty much spending all our money on travel we want to do before there is three of us!

We'll be TTC starting in April. We wanted to wait a few months after our wedding to get settled in, especially since I just moved here last spring and was still adjusting and trying to get my UK driving license. But at 31, I'm not getting any younger and we would ideally like to have 2 kids, preferably by the time I'm 35-36. So FX that it all happens quickly after we start trying. If all goes well in my pregnancy, we'd also like to have a home water birth. Many of my close friends are midwives and doulas, who all had their babies at home, and it just really seems like a good fit for us. And I'm a bit of a hippie, so we'll be doing as much pregnancy/birth/child raising stuff as naturally as we can. Looking forward to getting to know all of you on our journeys, and especially would love suggestions for anything pregnancy/baby related in Dorset/Somerset if anyone is from around here.
