Hi i never got added when i BFed my last daughter and i breastfed her til she was 10 months old.Im now currently BFing my Little girl Millie and have been doing so for 7 and a half months come wednesday.Millie was born tonge tied and ive had a lot of latch problems with her but no problems except blocked milk ducts with my first daughter.So dont really know how i could be of help but thought i would just mention im here if i can answer questions in anyway of my experiences with my girls.I have to say i even sometimes still have lacth problem occasionally after being told for many months by our local breastfeeding team it was thrush that me and my partner had to work it out our selfs what was wrong but got there in the endSo if i can be of any help then yes i am willing to be added

BFing for 6 months now, hoping to go past 2 years until LO self weans.

Problems were -

-Late preemie - 36 weeks
-Poor latch due to prematurity
-Tongue-tie
-Upper lip frenulum tie
-Slow weight gain

Hey, not on as much as I would like but am happy to help where I can. As you know TL, I exclusively bf Katie till 6 months and am still bf'ing now at nearly 17months. No specific specialities, she did have a tongue tie, refused to take a bottle of EBM after 4 weeks of taking it and I regularly feed in public - might be able to offer some advice. Will go and subscribe now and see what I can do. xx

um.... severe tongue tie, needing to combi feed, weaning off formula, using and weaning off nipple shields. slow weight gain afterwards and pressured to top up again. (which we didn't do) nursing in public. extended BF'ing.

I'd like to be added - I've just passed the 3 month milestone

My specialities are:

*Being hospitalised after home birth due to LO being very sleepy and not feeding at all
*LO remaining sleepy when feeding (he still falls asleep on the boob lots now!)
*Flat nipples
*Extremely sore cracked bleeding nipples
*Use of nipple shields
*Persistant thrush (LO's mouth and my milk ducts)

I'll be up for it...feeding still at 14 months and we plan to go as far as he wants...Also I fed through a severe tongue tie, successfully, and a lot of peer pressure to stop at 12 months!

I would say yup! I think there are different levels of combi feeding. It isn't unusual for a BFing mom to want advice on adding just 1 FF per day, so I will put you down for combi-feeding, too.
