I would guess go with the expensive brand. I never got a true positive on ic OPKs, a different brand though, although they were darker than those. I would bd just in case. Maybe continue testing and see what the cheapies do? Good luck

Did you ever find a brand that did give you a positive? I had no luck getting a positive on the Wondfo IC OPKs last cycle and trying the Target generic (still dip strip with IC design) this cycle and "less negative" yesterday that all last cycle, but no true positives. The information I found said the digitals are less sensitive than the ICs, so seems silly to spend extra money on those - plus my temps from this cycle line up almost perfectly with last cycle and would wager a bet that I'll O today or tomorrow, regardless of what the OPKs say!

I didn't try any other ones. The ones I have got progressively darker and were really dark just not quite as dark and definitely not darker than the control line. But the next day they were lighter again. I'm going to be temping so I will know when I o and DF and I bd every other day or more so if its wrong, oh well.

Have given up on OPKs. Got mobile/ dotted line crosshairs for CD 15 yesterday and now, they have moved to CD 16 today and fully expect them to be relocated to CD 17 tomorrow, which is when I'm pretty sure I actually O'd. Never a positive OPK and that was testing FOUR times a day, every six hours from CD 15 forward. They really just don't work for me!

Ahh chart stalkers! What is going on? Why did I jump so high and then drop? Ff took away my crosshairs! yesterday they gave me dotted crosshairs but later they were solid again. Maybe it'll go back up?

I think it has to do with whether they go up or down and the magnitude of the difference between temperatures, see above reply for my migrating O-date.

I assumed so too. I just hope it goes up again. I got a real bbt today in case the thermometer was the problem. And yes I am going mad at Cd 50! At least when I thought I had finally ovulated there was a hope this cycle would end. This is my first cycle off BCPs so I'm hoping they will settle down soon

I hope the proper BBT thermometer helps you out. I read somewhere that it's OK to try a regular one, some women have a large enough pre and post O difference in temps that they can get by with one just fine. I feel better about my temps having the BBT one.

I didn't know it was your first cycle of BCPs - you may not ovulate straight away. I've read it can take 4-6 months for your cycles to regulate and there's no way to tell. Maybe see if you can get provera (a week of pills, not Depo injections), or similar, to jump start a cycle for you from your doctor?

So looks like O came early here cd12 instead of the usual cd14/15 luckily I did an opk & caught it as wasn't going to start bd until Tuesday cd13 only managed to dtd cd12 & 13 as DH has the dreaded man flu so fx

Hi everyone..finaly ff put solid red line on cd15 which was high on cbfm as ovulation day

Yay!!!

AFM... CD 19. FF estimated O at CD 15 yesterday and moved it to CD 16 today. Assuming my temp stays in my LP range, where it is now, I bet it will move them to CD 17 tomorrow where I expect it to stay. Going to DTD at least once more later today and will hopefully get a break from our marathon after that - LOL - at least for a day or two! FX all our hard work pays off this cycle!

Is anyone else crampy? I've had mild cramps for a week now. They started at 2 or 3 dpo and haven't really gone away. I'm not sure what to think of them since it sounds like implantation cramps are pretty acute and don't stick around for more than a couple of hours at the most. Anyone know what might be going on?

MItoDC - I have learnt to ignore any cramps and or twinges in the TWW tbh as our bodies just lie to us and tbh it makes it a lot less stressful I am not SS at all this cycle

We did bd on cd 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 while I got + opk on cd 15 and got peak on cbfm on cd 16 and 17 I hope we have covered the basis

Still got a + OPK yesterday. So 2 days in a row now. Just to play it safe we are BDing today and then I think we've crossed the finish line for this month!

My poor DH is worn out! LOL He deserves a break from like

I told him IF we don't get a BFP this month I know my cycle better now and it won't have to be so many days in a row! I was just afraid of missing our window..

I agree about learning to ignore the twinges.. I seem to get some everyday ish.. having said that.. not SS is easier said than done... I cant help it how ever hard i try hehe

I totally agree about our bodies lying to us. If you want soemthing bad enough your mind will create it!

I think I will probably use the next batch I'm getting and just temp from there.
The bbt still had my temp really low this morning (below 36*c) so I don't know what's going on. I do feel better using it though. I was so excited when I had my first positive opk. I'm hoping that the fact that my body is trying to ovulate is a good thing? I think if my cycle last more than 80 days I will see my doctor. Keep temping in the meantime. I hope I ovulate on my own though.

I didnt think I had o'd this month thanks to a lack of visible cm but I def had pains in my abdomen a few days ago. Trying motto get to excited anyone else have any insight to share? What have you experienced?

Sorry but I can't be encouraging with that symptom as I have had that at least half my ttc cycles with it has happened anywhere from 6-12 dpo but some do get it with a . It is a negative sign for me.

Ladies, I finally got a happy smiley on opk 2 days ago on cd 12. I'm wondering if I should keep testing, how many days to bd? Sadly, I got the smiley and then got the flu the next day. We still bd even with the flubut don't know how that affects the chances. Also, I went to doctor and she tested for thyroid and progesterone. They took the tests 2 days before my period because I had scheduled but ended up with a short period and the results came out with low progesterone. She referred me to an infertility specialist but Im hoping it was low by it was so close to af. Any thoughts or experiences with this?
