What type of infertility testing should my doctor be ordering for me?

It's been a long time since I was tested 2010 but I think it was: bloods for any disease, progestrone levels, thyroid, I also had a dye test to make sure my ovaries and tubes were clear, and several vaginal ultrasounds...that's all I can recall...good luck!

It depends on where you are in your cycle. Are you having periods, ovulating, etc... They will want to find out how your particular cycle works. They may ask you to chart. Each doctor has a different way of handling infertility workups. TSH and FSH are important. They will also check progesterone levels and estrogen levels based on where you are in your cycle. There are so many other tests that can be done. hysterosapingograms (I know that is spelled wrong). But it is a test done to make sure your tubes are open. So there are a NUMBER of things they will test for.

Best of luck to you hon!!
