****January Testing Thread**** New Year = New BFP!

Yeah I was trying to resist but that was all I had on hand. I've had 3 miscarriages before and I just.. have that feeling I am pregnant again (along with my symptoms lol) that and since I'm addicted to poas and I just couldn't stop myself when I woke up because I knew it was there. Taunting me ](*,)

Gonna try to hold it as long as can and try a cheapie tonight and the FRER tomorrow.

Lime you silly thing! Never a digi before missed af! :haha: my advice is to get those wally cheapies and have gulit-free testing haha. I love them, they’re the worst for evaps but a line in the timeframe has never steered me wrong, and with one of my pregnancies it showed lines and progression better than frer. Looking forward to your tests!

I am itching to tell dh.. he’s at work and I’m sat here thinking should I just call him?

mummy23 did you get a photo of that digi yet? :)

I didn’t I ended up putting it in a bag and left it, but my kids go to their grandparents this weekend so I’ll update with pictures then. Trying to keep things a secret in my house is impossible.

@Lightning7 i also had a positive for the anti phospholipid antibodies, I take aspirin now and this one has taken (so far!) apparently it can come and go which is interesting. So glad you had it checked, sending lots of sticky baby dust for your next cycle

Congratulations @Lucy3 I'm so happy for you that you finally got your sticky one. And thank you for commenting it's good to hear success stories :) do you have to continue taking aspirin for the whole pregnancy?

@Lightning7 thanks! My OB didn’t seem too concerned with the aspirin - it was my GP who said to take it after the bloods came back. I’m wondering if when my OB tested again it came back negative which I’ve heard can happen. Have you heard that? I think they’re meant to test for it 3 times to get a final answer but I’m not sure! My inflammation markers also go negative when I’m pregnant (I have a lupus like condition) so pregnancy does strange but seemingly good things to my body. Love keeping up with you all and sending so many sticky baby thoughts your way <3

Hi! Yes of course, ask away :)

@elmum Good luck! You are pretty strong to hold out testing! :)

@AlwaysTheAunt sounds like you got some good chances! Wow three times in one day?! Mine struggles if we do more than 2 days in a row. Hee hee.

I struggle more than once every 3 days haha i was surprised but i got peak and then just felt like it again havent had twice in one day since our wedding night LOL

Didnt managed to get any after peak tho so im praying its enough. I dont have any cheapies this month so likely wont test unless af is late. Might take some stress off i hope

I suspect I might have lupus as well, when I was reading up on the APS I saw it links to lupus, checked out the symptoms list and it sounds so much like me. So I will be getting dr to test me for that when I next go in.

I always struggle with bloating, IBS sort of symptoms and constant iron deficiency and get sick with colds etc easily and with my pregnancy with my son all of that went away and I felt so good apart from standard pregnancy issues lol.

Ok so just finished reading up on new posts, congratulations Sally, BM and Mummy23 on your BFPs so excited for you ladies :)

I didn't think I had any strip tests left but I managed to find 2 more this morning so I used one, got my standard 10dpo too-faint line that comes before all my chemicals so I expect AF will be here tomorrow.

Congratulations to all the BFP's..seems like a good new year thread! :)

Lightning, if you want to show us the line we would love to see! I hope that it isnt AF coming and another chemical and I hope that you can get something to help with your condition.

AFM - Sorry I've been absent. Kinda gave up on TTC as it was too heartbreaking with faint lines each month, just feel like at our age I am fighting a loosing battle plus I've had some worrying health issues. Am considering trying next month and cant see us ever using contraceptives so maybe there is always a miracle chance? I will join the February thread if anyone makes one..it's my birthday month too so maybe it could be lucky?
