Team No-Test!

Mort, good luck on your next scan. I hope you see your bean grown into a tiny bubba! Very exciting! Hard part should be over regarding the nausea. Luckily, I didn't have MS but I know what nausea is and it sucks :hugs:
Still cramping and I feel exactly like I did before I found I was pregnant. Today is 9 DPO and (Sorry, TMI) I have slight beige spotting. If AF is on the way, temp should drop tomorrow and spotting should turn darker. If BFP is on the way, temp won't drop and spotting will subside. I might also be wrong but I am very excited and hopeful. Tomorrow is an important day!

Hey ladies

Mort - it does tend to get easier after the first trimester - but the unlucky few can continue with sickness for the whole preg!! I did with my DD. However, this time it seemed to ease off at around 15 weeks - so Im hoping for the same for you.
Have you tried those travel sickness bands that you put round your wrist? My sister in law swears by them!!

Bumbs - hows it going? Any better or are you still cramping? There are so many wierd and wonderful pains to get during pregnancy and its SOOOO hard to know what you should get checked and whats normal. Ill always be here to give my experiences if you need to compare. Just trust your instincts and what you feel your body is telling you.

Everyone else- how are you all? Looks like some good BDing going on for Polaris!! Come on girls - we can all reach our goals!!

xxx

Leylak - just saw your new post - thinking of you tomorrow!! GL girl!! xxx

Ooh exciting Leylak, hope that your gut instinct is right and your temperature stays up and spotting subsides.

I couldn't sleep well last night. I temped 5 times. At one of them, I wasn't awake, I thought I was dreaming, but I realised it was real when I checked the last reading of the thermometer :haha: I can resist the urge to test but I cannot resist the urge to temp  I admit it is funny but I wanted to share with you how this drove me insane.. Anyways, I read 36.9 C at my usual wake up time. Don't know if it is reliable but I am still hopeful. Tomorrow I will temp only once, I promise..

LOL at taking your temperature five times! Your chart is looking really good now though, fingers crossed!

My temperature was ridiculously high this morning but I think it's because I'm getting a cold and was running a low grade temperature. Very annoying as I wanted to get an accurate temperature reading to confirm ovulation.

Hi all, I had my scan today and it went great! Little bubs was wriggling around and everything seems fine! They changed my due date to 18th though!

Have fun at your scan morticia!

Emma x

Emma, great news :)
Polaris, I hope you get well soon!
11 DPO and temperature is still high today. My LP is changing between 12 and 10 after the miscarriage. What is giving me hope is spotting didn't turn into AF. It may be too early to say it subsided though. I need to see something white to say that... I will test on Friday, but I might test tomorrow too, if it is not a breach of the "no test" rule :haha:

hey everyone! thanks for all the reassurance and lovely replies!

i am feeling okay now, food aversions eased off although i am less hungry than ever, but if i do get hungry i feel like fainting if i dont eat asap!

cramping has gone now and sometimes i get a little stabbing pain in the middle of my lower abdomen, but no bleeding which is great!

is it normal to feel worried non stop? i still cant believe it happened! did another digital cb test today (exactly 2 weeks after i got a 1-2 weeks) and it came up with 3+ so i guess my hormones are increasing! yaay! :)

happy 2nd trimester mort! cant wait to see another scan picture! in 3 weeks i get to see my baby for the first time! i am so excited!

farmerswifey, emmy and mort - when did you start showing? so far i cant see anything but when i try to suck in my tummy i can see where ive grown a lil bit!

good luck beets, leylak and polaris! you'll get that bfp soon!!!

:hugs: x

Hey girlies!

Leylak - I am checking in every morning to see what is happening with you now! Ive got a great feeling about this time!!

Bumbs - I started showing with my DD when I was about 20 weeks! It was a really late starting bump! lol - HOWEVER this time I could see a bump at around 12 weeks and now that Im 18 weeks its blatantly obvious Im pregnant - but people expect me to say Im much further along than I am. Lol! Must be a big baby!!
It is also normal to worry non stop - this will NEVER go away Im afraid!! Not until they are married themselves and have children of their own (and perhaps not even then!!)
Lots of love to you and glad you are feeling better.

How is everyone else getting along? Mort - how was your scan?

xxxx

Thanks for sharing my excitement ladies. Normally, AF comes after 48 hours of spotting latest. So I had thought it was IB. But last night, I realised I wasn't cramping anymore, bbs went soft and spotting turned darker although it did not increase in amount. so I started waiting for AF. And this morning here it is. I think the high temp thing while spotting is because I took b6 this month religiously. It confused me but I am fine. I don't feel like crying.

Hi girlies! :flower:

I have some exciting news to share....

Hope you can see him/her! Bean has changed SO much since our last scan three weeks ago - wow! He (for some reason I think of him as a 'he'!) was wriggling and jumping all over the place, it was so cute. :cloud9: the nurse asked if I'd had anything sweet that morning, and I said orange juice and that I'd been craving it constantly - and she said the baby must like OJ! ha ha! :haha: how cute is that?! and hopefully you can see in the pic - he or she is giving us a high five! ha ha!

Hope you are all really well and ley, I'm so sorry that this isn't your month. :hugs: it is obviously still taking just a little bit of time for your body to get completely back to normal after m/c, but the fact that your LP is increasing is a great sign. May I ask - where do you live? I get the impression you are one of our glamorous interinational ladies?

Beets - hope you're ok and enjoying your trip away. plenty of R&R is just the ticket! are you with OH?
Farmers - can't wait to join you in the second trimester next week!

Bumbs - in answer to your question, I am massive already - seriously! I have such a big bump that I'm already being offered seats on the train! I started showing at 8 or 9 weeks, so pretty early. I think that because I'm naturally quite slim, and my stomach has always luckily been pretty flat, it's an instant 'pop out' effect. It is making it much harder to disguise at work, though - I'm not telling them until Monday! It's all a bit complicated because I have been working on a cover position since Feb, but was only offered a perm position last month. and, typically bad timing, my contract only actually came through yesterday. so have signed it and sent it off...but that's only 3 days or so before I tell them I'm pregnant! eeeek! I'm so nervous about it. they are not going to be happy! xxx:kiss:

Wow your :baby: looks adorable Mort! you must be upon :cloud9: so happy for you :happydance:
Indeed! I am from Turkey. I think my language shows  I am afraid of upsetting someone unintentionally. Otherwise, I think you get my point most of the time :winkwink:
I am trying too hard, I think. This month I will not use vit B6, although it brings my ov date earlier and helps with spotting and LP, I get more upset when AF comes. I will wait until DH's :spermy: improve. This month he is taking antioxidant formula (a friend of ours with poor sprem quality had recommended it) and coenzyme q10 from GNC.
Also, we will go on a vacation in a few days. I hope it helps, but I am not too hopeful about it.

Hello ladies! I'm back from a fantastic week away yacht racing. Miserable weather and rain and lots of wind so covered in bruises but I absolutely loved it. I have kept up the temping solely to give to the Fertility specialists when we eventually get to meet them but apart from that haven't worried about anything. Drank when I wanted to even in LP and generally relaxed. Definitely don't think this month is our month but who knows?! AF is due on Saturday so not long now.
Wow Mort, your Bean looks beautiful! You must be soooo excited! I seriously hope you'll still keep your eyes on those of us left in this group?!
Bumble glad to hear that everything is settling down and behaving as it should and hope your scan comes round quickly for you!
Leyla ... sorry to hear that AF came again, although once again your LP is improving! I wholeheartedly agree with you that taking the relaxed approach will work for you. Fingers crossed that next month is your month!
Will keep you posted if anything exciting happens at my end although I'm really not expecting anything! No symptoms ... nothing! Ah well! xx

I started spotting this morning so I think I'm out for this month. Feeling a bit disappointed because I was having lots of "pregnancy symptoms" this morning until I went to the loo and saw the spotting. It's not AF yet but I'm pretty sure she's on her way.

hey ladies,

morning sickness has hit me full force - its is horrible! i cannot eat anything but plain cereal and yoghurt, the thought of anything else makes my stomach turn! :(

mort - your baby looks sooo cute! glad everything is going well! :)

beets and ley - being relaxed worked for me! i obsessed for 3 months and with my impatience i stopped temping and such and it took us only 2 months! my fingers are crossed for you and i know it will happen, if with or without help! you deserve to be mommies!!

polaris, sorry to hear that af got you! my fingers are of course also crossed for you!

lots of love to all of you, :hugs: xx

Hi lovely ladies :flower:

No way am I leaving this group - I do dip into the first trimester group occasionally (soon to be second - eek!) but haven't found anyone I connect with as much as you girls! can't wait til we ALL have our BFPs. Bring it on!!! PMA - we are the original Team PMA! :happydance:

Beets, glad you had such a great hols, and were able to relax...it sounds brilliant. Ley, same to you, definitely think relaxing is key (it worked for Bumbs!) - you're doing everything right to maximise your chances, so good for you. and no, I didn't guess you were from Turkey - your English is amazing! Pol - so sorry spotting has arrived, but it ain't over until the fat witch sings, as they say. Keep us posted. :hugs:

Bumbs - I hear ya honey on the morning sickness...it is AWFUL! I know it's all a good sign, but I feel SO sick. I've started a thread on the first trimester forum asking for everyone's tips on getting through it, so check it out if you can. https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-first-trimester/677808-tips-morning-sickness-sick.html
Mine lowered at 12 weeks but shot up again and has been worse than ever this week...blurgh...
Hoping I am 'peaking' and it will vamoosh soon!

am on holiday for a week as of Saturday so have a great rest everyone and stay away, AFs!

luv ya girls! xx:kiss:

Heya Mort, Bumbs, Farmers, Emma and all of you successful pregnant ladies from our team... its so lovely to have the support and encouragement of you all and that you haven't disappeared off into the 'trimester sunset'! I find it so helpful and motivating!

Pol, how are you doing ... did AF show or are you in 'suspended animation?' Really hope it ends positively for you. Ley hope the relaxed approach this month will help. re me. I'm 13dpo today but really don't think its my month. temp down a little this morning (albeit I took it early as my OH had to get up for work and because he's so rubbish in the mornings I literally had to force him out of bed and thus I was up too!). Anyway it always lowers just before AF so I will expect it to drop like a stone tomorrow and then AF on Saturday. Tonight we are off to a 'fertility talk' at a specialist fertility hospital in London. Will be interesting to hear what they have to say! And then Friday I'm helping my OH move all his stuff into Storage before putting his flat on the market! Hehe he is getting closer to officially moving in with me!
Mort, have a wonderful holiday and I really hope that the morning sickness goes so that you can enjoy it! Bumble ... likewise hope you are able to find a way to manage the sickness. xxx

Hey beetle, hope AF stays away and your temperature goes back up tomorrow. I had a look at your chart and your temp is still well above coverline so you can't totally rule yourself out yet. The month I got pregnant on Thomas my temperature dropped like that at about 13 dpo and I was so sure that AF was coming but it went back up the next day.

Having said all that, my temperature dropped this morning too so I'm almost 100% certain now that AF will arrive today or tomorrow.

Heya Pol, thanks for the words of encouragement. Looks like we are in the same boat! Are you still spotting? I can use your words back at you .. it maybe that your temp will go up tomorrow like it did with Thomas? How are you feeling though? Like AF is about to arrive or different? I have mild cramping now which is normal so for me its like AF is on her way. Although I had very bad wind last night which isn't so normal! oops! Anyway keeping fingers and toes crossed for you! x
