Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

Wow I've just checked back here this morning and I'm so excited! Swimmy that is such amazing news!!! How far along are you now? I'm not sure on whether you should get more bloods done as it's causing a lot of stress However if it were me I'd want to do one just out of interest. Positive thoughts your way for sure!!!

And Michelle congrats on your blood results! Lots of good news on here today!

I'd say cramping was normal ladies. I've had lots of cramping and funny stabbing pains throughout this whole pregnancy. It's so worrying at times but I think it's just down to stretching and growing! :)

I wish my doctor would recheck progesterone Michelle yours sounds so good. I have cramping on and off my doctor said its normal as long as there isn't bleeding or its on one side constantly. I'm still just so shocked. I feel like this can't be right.

Should I get just one more beta?? If I didn't see the screen myself no way would I have believed them lol. Maybe i should try and be more positive.

Mine checks progesterone with every hcg draw. I hope he keeps doing that, makes me nervous stopping it.

And I'd say it's up to you on betas. I agree with hanrh, it may stress you out. Do you have another scan planned soon?

Just realized you said in 3 weeks you'll have another scan. That's so far! I'm sure it's normal to wait that long, but still!

I think it is such good news your baby is measuring right on time. Mine was far behind before I had my miscarriage.

swimmy that's great!! you just really never know... my HCG levels were GREAT, but my baby wasn't...

It's totally up to you about the betas. It def seems like it's causing a lot of stress, but maybe it's helpful for the doctors? Maybe you can get the betas taken but ask not to hear the results? I'm not sure how that all works

either way - sending you so many positive vibes and hope that things continue smoothly :flower:

I agree with the ladies, but the betas just seemed to add stress and confusion, the ultrasound seems more accurate at this point. I'm surprised they are making you wait so long until the next one. They won't let you do one sooner??

I tried to get one sooner but they wanted 3 weeks ugh! I have a doctors appointment on the 16th then the ultrasound on the 22nd. I'm still just baffled, but anytime I have cramping I think yep ok I'm going to start bleeding lol. this is going to be a very long wait.

Michelle - i'm so happy for you!

hanrh - so glad everything is going well cant wait to see your next scan!

Tiny - how have you been doing? have you met the with the specialist yet?

I'm sorry that they are making you wait so long, it doesn't make sense, it must be miserable for you! I hope that the next few weeks fly by!

Swimmy that's awesome! There were tons of women on my Facebook group very early on with disheartening numbers that have all blossomed into beautiful pregnancies! It definitely can cause undo stress when not going to what we think they should be. I'll be praying hard for you tonight!!

Michelle so happy to hear your numbers are going so well!!

Hanrh and Michelle are you going to start a pregnancy journal? I would love to stalk!!

Well, apparently DH and I have really figured out this conceiving thing.... Faint BFP this morning. I think I'm 9 DPO, it's really faint, but probably the darkest I've had at 9 DPO so far. Doesn't feel any different than any of the other times, but I'm not sure if it is supposed to....

Debating getting betas done or just sticking to FRER progression like last time...

Here we go again.

But I guess each time gets us closer to a balanced healthy baby.

Tiny that's amazing!! 9 dpo and a faint line is a great thing!! Fx this is your sticky rainbow!!! Does your DH know yet?

No, he had already left for work when I took it. I'm debating when to tell him... I thought about just sending him a text saying "here we go again" because that is how it feels unfortunately. We do work at the same company, so maybe I'll swing by his desk for lunch and tell him. I always wished I had a cute story of telling him, so I guess I have that chance again, but I don't want to make it too special and have it fail, I know it sounds bad, but I'm sure he feels the same way now.

Congrats Tiny! I would maybe test with a FRER and then get betas done?

Well, CD 14 and the clearblue advanced OPK has a beautiful solid smiley face after three days of blinking. The next two days will probably dictate if we're in or out. We've been trying to BD all week but hubby is having issues finishing (sorry, TMI). We've managed to successfully BD only once in the past three days... I'm worried we won't get at least one more shot in before O. Has anyone else's SO had these kinds of issues?

tiny! GL to you.... fingers are super crossed!! :baby::baby:

abennion - my SO had trouble on THE day last month. I think between BDing the 5 days before and the pressure of this is THE day, it was difficult for him. I just gave him a time out and he came back in a few minutes ready to go. not sure what his little pep talk was all about but it worked. I know it prob gets tough for them when it's so structured, so often and so much pressure.

I only use FRERs, they have never failed me.

My DH had a hard time one month when he was sick, he usually does when he is sick, I think it's the mess he takes. But I'm sure it will work out! Good luck!

Tiny it is hard to stay positive when you've had dissapointments but keep that chin up!! And I think swinging by his desk at work is a great idea! I would make it a happy occasion though :) you never know this could be it!!

Abennion so happy you got your positive opk!! My DH never had trouble finishing but sometimes it would take him longer. If I were you I would try and make tonight really special and about the two of you, not BD. freshen up and smell nice, wear something skimpy, light candles and put on some romantic music! That might help his mindset a bit ;) good luck!!

Abennion, I totally agree with Laura. Do something fun and playful. Maybe get some new lingerie... Or send seductive pictures or messages all day so that he starts thinking about it!

Maybe I'll do just that tonight.... hopefully it'll all work out. Thanks ladies!

DTD successful :) Still haven't got a temperature rise, so we're going to try again tonight, but so far our odds look good. I got all dressed up, candles lit and everything but that didn't seem to do the trick. Hubby is very visual, and DTD usually ends up with him staring at a wall... So I offered maybe he could watch some stuff while we DTD. Worked like a charm. He feels horrible that we had to resort to that, and it sucks, but if it gets us our little bean, I'll do whatever it takes :)
