Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

Well, saw the doctor today. My family doctor is away on holidays, so we got this cute little old man. He said normally people don't start looking into infertility issues this early, but he'd make an exception in our case. Hubby has bloodwork and an SA to do, and I've got bloodwork, an ultrasound, and a physical... Oh goody! Hopefully going to get my bloodwork in tomorrow, hubby the same, and then I need to call the ultrasound clinic to book an appointment. Physical is this Saturday.

So, a bit of news... I peaked last night! Hopefully O will be happening in 24-48 hours Then begins another round of TWW. I have an ultrasound booked for next Friday to see if everything is in working order down there, still haven't done blood work yet and dreading physical on Saturday.... Wish me luck!

How is everyone else doing? Swimmy? Tiny? Michelle? I've been thinking of you all lately. Babydust to everyone!

Hey ladies. Really just had to step away for a while. Swimmy and Michelle, any updates on tests? Good luck with your O Abennion. You are so lucky to be seeing specialists! We can but it would ALL be out of pocket, I can't get a referral for any reason with the insurance through work. It is so awful and they are so unsupportive.

I just don't know what to do. Took this month off, Oed early of course. Will start femara in a couple weeks I guess.

I wish I was excited about it anymore, but reality sucks. And in reality, our odds aren't very good.

DH and I saw a family counselor, and I think I convinced him that we need to seriously start looking at IVF. It's just so expensive it's scary. I wouldn't think twice about spending the money if I knew we would get a baby, but not knowing if I'm flushing hard earned money down the drain is so hard. We are saving and looking into pricing now. Reality really sucks sometimes.

I know what you mean, Tiny. I'd consider IVF if I keep miscarrying, but I'd be so crushed if it didn't work after spending all that money out of pocket.

No real test results back yet. My thyroid is fine, but still waiting on the genetic test and one other.

I'll be able to try next cycle again, and my doc already gave me the Clomid prescription so just looking forward to that.

I'm not seeing a specialist quite yet, in Canada this is all offered by our family doctors before being referred to a specialist. I'm sorry tiny, I don't know what we would do if we resorted to IVF... Just the prospect of spending so much money for a chance at a BFP.... I don't know if we would resort to it. Hopefully it won't resort to that though!

Well, gearing up for a longer cycle or AO. CD 19 and still no temp rise. Past two months I've Oed on CD 16 and CD 17. This month has definitely been a wonky one

hey gals sorry i've been taking some time off. Didn't temp or opk this cycle. hoping AF shows up on time, last mc she took a few months to get going again. Meeting with the specialist on the 22nd time to start running all the tests. our first meeting he was very nice and has a goal of a successful pregnancy within a year of starting treatments so we will see. I'm just glad my insurance covers some of this unless we need ivf.

I got word back this morning that my chromosome test came back as normal! Now just waiting to hear back on DH.

I finally got a temp rise this morning! Bloodwork has been booked for next Saturday. Just hoping my temps stay up there now. I'd much rather ovulate later than not at all this month!

I was fairly sure I was out this month. Started Black Cohosh on CD19 out of desperation for O. Just hoping for crosshairs tomorrow. How have you been Tiny?

Hi ladies. Sorry haven't written on here in ages, I have been reading , just didn't want to bombard with baby news - I know it's not what u want to hear about!

So glad all your resulta were good Michelle!!

I have my 20 week scan on Monday. I'm absolutely terrified that something will be wrong but looking forward to finding out gender!

4DPO today, just had my pelvic ultrasound done (to see if there were any issues with my lady bits). As far as the tech could tell everything looked good. Hubby refuses to go get his SA done until after we find out if we get a BFP this month or not. I have blood tests next weekend looking for other reasons its taken so long. Hopefully its just been a matter of timing for us and timing this month will get us our BFP!

Thank you! I do have to say I don't feel any differently than other months, but here's hoping! I've decided I'm going to test on Wednesday, that's originally when AF was due. If it comes back BFN I'll test again on the Sunday.
