Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

I'm now 2 days late, Jezika. Cervix is still high and soft too.

Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, but 16DPO today. That's a first. I don't know if this morning's temp was accurate because I could hardly get the thermometer in there (sorry, TMI) after the colposcopy was done yesterday.

They took two biopsies, and it'll be 4-6 weeks until we hear the results. No AF, not at all. Took a pregnancy test at the doctor's office but I don't think it was all that reliable, as I had gone to the bathroom an hour prior. I'm so sore right now from it that it hurts to sit. I keep running to the bathroom to check to see if either AF or the stuff they put on my cervix to stop the bleeding from the biopsies has come out, but nothing.

I figure I won't test again until Monday, that would be a week since she was due and I would have a definite answer by then. I'm just so confused about this cycle. I usually have a 12 day LP. It's never deviated, and not by 4 days.

You should be getting a bfp by now. That is so frusterating! I'm sorry I hope you get some answers soon.

Afm scan went well very wiggly baby heart beat of 178. Now a very very long wait till my next scan lol but I see my new ob in 13 weeks

Awww Abennion, do I spy that AF has begun? :(

Congrats swimmy! I'm happy things are going so well! Sounds like a strong, healthy baby! :)

Michelle - Yeah, AF finally showed. I was a little concerned there wasn't any bleeding following my colposcopy on Wednesday. At first I thought it was bleeding from that around 9 pm last night. by the time I got home it was much heavier than that. Ah well. I'm just glad something finally happened! I'm fairly sure it was due to the Clomid.

Heard today that all the testing on the tissue came back normal. Happy it wasn't a molar pregnancy! But it does make me wonder... Why the miscarriage then? Meeting with the Doctor next week to see if he wants to do any more tests on me. It is kinda nice to find out though. Feel like closure, and now I'm ready to move on to ttc again in the next month.. Or whenever we are able!

Abennion glad at least you know one way or another. Are you doing clomid again next cycle??

Michelle - I wish you could have gotten some answers :( hopefully your doctor has some ideas as to what you can test for next.

I hope you and DH get answers and a plan of attack soon! Glad that it doesn't appear that there were chromosomal problems as well.

Praying for you.

Swimmy - Nope, no clomid. We've decided to take a break from trying until we hear from the fertility clinic. No temping, no clomid, no acupuncture.... just pure unadulterated fun. We've got a cruise at the end of the month planned and paid for, it'll be a nice break from everything.

Abennion, sounds like you have a nice month planned. I'm sure it'll be a relief not to be preoccupied with TTC; I heard it can definitely be beneficial. I've only been doing this a month and I have to say it was nice not worrying about it over the past week because I was busy.

That sounds so nice to have a cruise planned! I was just telling DH today that I wish we could take a vacation. Sadly, we don't have the time right now, but maybe we can do a mini weekend away or something.

Hi ladies! I'm looking for another thread to join, do you mind if I jump in?

AF arrived a couple days ago, and this officially marks our 1 year TTC. I've put in a request for a referral to fertility clinic for testing, but I actually think it was just my body trying to regulate from BCP because the last 2-3 months have vbeen the first time I've naturally (without vitex or anything else) had a regular length cycle with a decent LP. So I'm hoping that we are able to get our BFP soon.

This month I'm going to continue to work on myself physically (been going to the gym 3x a week for the last 3 months, dropped some weight and since then I've had much more normal cycles so I think that is helping), and I am going to also work on myself mentally. I'm going to start doing some fertility Yoga poses, some meditation to help clear the mind and think positively (and reduce stress/anxiety), and drink "copious amounts" of Red Raspberry tea (as recommended by my massage therapist who also has trained as a Doula and does natural/eastern medicine).

Hoping this is our month. :)

Welcome, Angel! I hope it's not too much longer til you get your BFP.

I didn't even think of fertility yoga! That is a great idea. I'm gonna have to do some searches on YouTube to see if there are any good yoga videos on there.

Thanks Michellebelle! I hadn't even thought about fertility yoga until the massage therapist mentioned it. I've found some good info online and I'm going to try to find some good youtube videos. if not I found a few dvd's on amazon but wanted to try to find something free first.

Angel welcome - i'm sorry you haven't had much luck over the last year. But to give you some hope after 3 years of TTC. After only 2 cycles with a fertility specialist im 11 weeks as so far everything is good (still not getting super excited after having losses). I really hope you have wonderful luck going through a clinic.

Michelle - I have found some good video's on youtube :) i love doing them. even now yoga is so relaxing.

swimmyj - that's awesome! Congrats!! So, if you don't mind me asking, what was it that the specialist was able to do that made it possible for you to conceive?

We ran a lot of tests to see what the issue was. My DH has a genetic issue and low count and I had low progesterone. So our fertility doc wanted me to have multiple eggs giving my dhs swimmers more luck to find something lol and hopefully it would be genetically sound. So we did higher doses of clomid monitored with ultrasound. I had 3-4 eggs (scary though lol). And then did progesterone after. If that cycle wouldn't have worked we would have tried iui next giving his guys even more of a chance. My DH was also taking "fertilaid" and it did bring up his count quite a bit.
Ultrasound monitoring was really helpful sense I have such a sort surge of lh that sometimes I would miss it using opks.

Swimmy, would you recommend the fertile aid? How long was DH on it before you got pregnant this time?

Thanks Swimmy! I'm very new to the whole specialist thing. It seems like such a scary thing for me.

I think he was only on it for 2 months this last time. I'm really nervous though. I went to an urgent care last night, I caught a yucky stomach bug and got really dehydrated. After some iv fluids I felt loads better but they couldn't find baby on the Doppler. It just kind of put me on edge. Gonna call my doctor in the morning like they recommended just to let them know I've been seen. The doctor was very reassuring saying their equipment hardly ever gets a heart beat at 12 weeks but I just don't like worrying. Hopefully it's nothing
