Ttc #1 Positive thinking buddies, sticking together. (13 BFPs, 2 angels)

Hi ladies.
Can I join you all again? (Well soon!)
I have had the worst 2 weeks of my life. We had our 12 week scan and found out our baby was very poorly, he had developed a very rare brain condition and it was suspected he had chromosomal abnormalities. We have since met with a specialist who did the cvs test for us (the one where they put a needle in your tummy) which was horrid. Unfortunately, whilst waiting for the cvs results our little angel lost his battle and we had to say goodbye on 5th November at 13 weeks.
I am feeling empty, lost and traumatised by the whole experience and know how much better you all made me feel better during all those months of ttc. I know it's awful but I just want to be pregnant again! As I said I feel so empty without my baby in my tummy!
The specialist has said we can start TTC again as soon as I get my first Af again so am hoping that will be soon!

Hanrh - I am so so sorry for your loss. I got excited when your name popped up and thought you were coming back with a happy update. What a horrible couple of weeks for you and your DH. I can only imagine what it's been like for you take care x

Thank you for Your kind words ladies. I don't think we will be able to actively ttc again for a little while, although I'm hoping it won't be too long, as have to wait for my body to return to normal.

Hope you don't have to wait too long but your body will tell you when it's time. Don't rush and take time to get back into the swing of things.

Things are good here, we have officially bought a house and get the keys in about a week and a half. Just in time for testing. Otherwise, not much else has been going on. DH and I are ill with a bad cold at the moment! X

Wow congratulations on the house news! Is this your first house you have owned? I bet you are so excited! How amazing would it be if you got your bfp just in time for your new house!!

Thanks! Yeah, first time we have owned a house. We've lived together for years but we are so excited about this next step for us! To finally have our own place will change so much. Cant wait to get it all sorted the way we want it, and make it a family home. Hopefully soon! X

I think I'm out this month, sadly. I thought my body was gearing up for ovulation, but really it was gearing up for AF. Hasn't come full-on, but definitely spotting.

Looks like an anovulatory cycle for me this time. Pretty bummed, as I was feeling good about this month. Husband was trying to make me feel better and said in December he'll get me pregnant for Christmas.

Well.. My spotting is just that still... Light spotting. Waiting for it to turn into something more so I can get onto the next cycle. Thanks for the kind words, I hope a Christmas BFP does happen!

Camichelle- wow I see it!! How many dpo are you? So strange as I woke up this morning thinking you would get a bfp so rushed on here to check!!!

Michellebelle- how frustrating with the spotting!! How amazing would a Christmas bfp be though. It would be the best present ever!!!

Tink - so sorry you are feeling down.

Afm, I'm getting very frustrated at still spotting following my d&c, I just want me body back to normal now!!! It's a constant reminder of how sad I feel and stopping me moving forward! X
