But what REALLY got to me was when her mom was telling the Dr that Kayla should be eating alone and family means are not THAT important. :dohh:

I know. She may restrict some while eating in front of someone else, but at least someone can monitor that she IS eating....

And wow on Jordan.
 
I could not believe her mom! Its no wonder she has an eating disorder if her mom was ever like that before! I just wanted to bitch-slap her mom repeatedly.
It was nice to see a good FOB though! I don't think I could have made it through the episode if he was a jerk too.

I noticed the boyfriend of the mom looked pretty young.. wonder if that had anything to do with her behavior. The rent thing was crazy/ridiculous especially since she told her initially that the boyfriend would only have to pay for baby and mom's needs etc. I do wonder if she felt like they should pay rent since she was paying rent when she barely lived at home herself. Wonder if her boyfriend wanted her to pay rent at his place since she's always there?
I hated how the mom just said 'I tried'... really? how? when? When you said you'd stay home for a week with your daughter when her son was born and then you backed out and didn't even stay a day?

Well Kayla said her mom had her when she was like 16 or 17 so her mom was probably only like 32-34 ish? So fairly young herself.

But yeah everything about Kayla's mom pissed me off! It sounded like her mom wanted to go on a diet with her to work off of her daughters anorexia and learn some tricks from that, which is awful! And Kayla didn't need to be on a diet anyway!

And I almost started crying when Kayla's mom planned a girls night and then went to a game with her boyfriend and clearly stated they had extra tickets and are taking her bf's friends instead! How awful! She could have taken her daughter to the game!
 
actually I think that the friends were the ones with the extra tickets which were how the mom and her boyfriend were going. But since the daughter's boyfriend left town for the night because of the 'girls night' it was extremely messed up for her mom to ditch her.

I thought the same thing about the mom wanting to learn some anorexic 'tricks'.

I don't understand, its like a switch flipped in her mom's brain and her mom just decided she was done being a parent. I think she was really mad that Kayla got pregnant and won't admit it but decided that if Kayla wouldn't listen to her and avoid pregnancy that she'll get to make all her own choices after that alone.

Oh, well either way she could have chose to take her daughter and not her boyfriend.

And yeah I agree its like she just gave up on being a parent. Its no wonder her daugther was anorexic and pregnant at 16. :nope:

Lisaf, I think you may have hit the nail on the head - her mom is punishing her somehow. Because Kayla told her mom (a couple of times) in tears that they were best friends before she got pregnant..... and now her mom is, well, we know what her mom is. But yeah, I really wanted to smack her repeatedly when she kept making promises and then breaking them. And it's kinda obvious she made them knowing she wasn't going to keep them...

She needs a shrink. Hell, I need a shrink after watching all that.

I'm so choked that I didn't see the whole episode! My PVR only got the first hour so I only saw up to where Kayla had her son....I missed the whole diet thing and everything. Her mom pissed me off enough in the first hour...don't know if I could have handled anymore of her! What a nut job!
 
Boy, tonight's episode was rather tame compared to what we've seen the last few weeks.....
 
Yeah the episode with Izabella was definitely boring compared to the drama of past weeks. Her boyfriend is a loser, by the way. She totally lucked out having such supportive parents...especially cause we've seen how other girls have had to battle it out on their own.
 
What is next weeks episode about? I'm dying to see the one where the FOB's mother fights with the girl.
 
Next week is Kianna - the jist of it is that she might want to give the baby up for adoption cause she doesn't want it to hamper her plans to have a life and become a vet. Her baby daddy doesn't work her to give it up though......dun dun dun.....
 
the only thing that stood out to me on the last episode was the FOB's father's attitude. Almost like he felt they should be punished and SHOULD ruin the rest of their lives and pay for their mistake.
 
I didnt like the uncle tho saying the kids shouldn't go to school and the parents shouldn't help them.
 
Yeah, I didn't either. I was wondering what the hell his problem was? These kids are lucky! He'd probably feel a whole lot different if it was his daughter who was pregnant; he'd want the best for her.

Looking forward to next week's drama!!
 
I just met Gary and Leah from Teen mom at the public pool. Goodness that girl is even more cute in person!!!
