Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-7!

thank you abennion, that's what I thought ._. In my 40 day cycles, temping has always given me a very clear result, so I have stuck with temping orally for now. Of course my 55-day cycle was the one where I didn't temp, so I don't know exactly what happened then. I guess this cycle I'll find out :( Was really hoping I might have ovulated sooner this cycle and to find out it's one where I'm ovualting even *later* than normal (if at all...) is not very nice.

Either way, planning on temping vaginally next cycle for more reliability!

On a more positive note: the weather has been great these past few days and hubby and I are planning a relaxing weekend at home to take my mind of things :)

Gorgeous weather in Europe isn't it Fluffy! Enjoy your relaxing weekend!

Clear blue skies, best summer weather! :D

Meanwhile, I've decided that I'm going to call my doctor on Monday *again* and ask for an earlier appointment, and simply make clear that if she's not going to see me earlier, I'm going to someone else. She is only the second gynecologist I've tried, but I'm tired of being told that long and irregular cycles "might be normal/just stress". At this rate, I'd be ovulating 6x a year, I really don't think that's normal ._.

Has anyone else had such problems with doctors refusing to look into things, or is it just me?

Fingers crossed for you, Abe! And Fluffy, good luck speaking with your doctor. I am seeing a new gyno next month, trying to establish one in my new state since I moved last year. I plan to start the convo about fertility since I'm 36, even though we've only been TTC for 4 months. I'll be interested to see how long she will want me to hold off.

I finally got my first clearly positive OPK doing Wondfo every 12 hours. Test line was very dark last night but faded again this morning. Having O pain today. We BD'd yesterday and today so the timing seems pretty good...here's hoping.

@Meep
Thank you! :) Hoping your good timing pays off for you this cycle!

AFM - Minor success. After much begging, my gyno moved the appointment up by three weeks and will see me on 28th June. She couldn't do much more than that because she is on holiday in June. Relieved it is only a month's wait now instead of two!! Until then, I will try to distract myself (CD 32 and still no ovulation...) best I can. At least we're having the most amazing sunshine here, rather unusual for this time of year :)

I'm glad you had some success fluffy!

I didn't have an issue demanding to be taken seriously really, but mainly because i didn't know there was something TO be taken seriously. It just took a while for someone to pick up on it. But once they did I got referred to a fertility specialist gynaecologist and that got me on the right track.

Now hurry up June 28!

AF started today for me! That's a 36 day cycle which is pretty good really xx

Thanks Meep! 5 weeks tomorrow slowly getting there :)

Sarah - Sorry AF got you, but yay for the shorter cycle!

Thank you and congrats on your bfp!! Now that af has started I know where I am in my cycle (hopefully) and can try to girl sway :)

Thanks :D

And good luck! What kind of things do you do to girl sway?

There's lots of ideas on the gender dreaming website but I will be a very simple version. I will be using replens every 3 days after af and will be dtd up until 2 days before suspected ov. I'm also going to be drinking sprite as it has a chemical in it (can't remember the name!) and will take sudafed the day of dtd xxx

Sorry AF got you sarah, but 36-day cycles are pretty awesome, only one day longer than the normal range :D

Before I know my cycles would be so wacky, I was also considering gender swaying and from what I read, timing when you have sex seems to be thing that has the best chances of working. However, now I don't want to do anything that decreases the chances of getting pregnant *at all*, so no gender swaying for me! :)

Well my AF has now stopped?! So weird.. I'm thinking I will probably start properly in the next few days. X

@Sarah could that be a symptom or did you already rule that out?

Looking for opinions on my chart (in sig) - I had a positive OPK in the evening on CD 14 and woke up with distinct O pain on CD 15 that lasted all day. However, my temp was lower on CD 14 so FF thinks that's when I O'd. I think it must have been CD 15. Thoughts?

@steph
as I said in you diary, sorry to hear :( know exactly how you feel!

@sarah
could it have been early pregnancy spotting/implantation bleeding? did you take a test??

@Meep
Not a super experienced chart reader here, but I would guess you ovualted on CD 15. It could have been 14 as well, but your temps only go over the cover line after CD 15, so that's why I think the ovulation happened on CD 15. :)

Yes took a test today and thought I saw a vvvv faint line but think my eyes were playing tricks on me! I only had my coil removed last week so unless I ovulated right as it was being taken out I can't see that I could be pregnant? Maybe it's just a slow starting period or could be that I didn't ovulate?

Agree with fluffy meep, I'm not brilliant at reading charts but I would say cd15 too :)

I'm not sure on your chart Meep, but you are covered either way at least :)

Sarah that's interesting. Are you going to test again?

Steph - Sorry no O yet :(
